Solana director of Spanish Security Strategy -- Just in time for Spanish EU/WEU joint presidencies!

Well, maybe Acciona, the ESADE Business School, etc. aren't enough. Looks like our very good friend is back -- this time as director of the Spanish Security Strategy. This sounds so very much like his carefully crafted European Security Strategy. More important, this new appointment for Javier Solana comes JUST IN TIME for the Spanish EU - WEU joint presidencies to begin in just a few days. His alter ego, Cristina Gallach has been named the spokesperson for those Spanish presidencies. The next six months should be very interesting, perhaps disturbing, and most revealing. In addition to the link on the headline, here's another place to practice your Spanish by reading about it in that language from very current news.

Stay tuned!

and on a sad note, there are the many who profess to be christians who continue to celebrate the pagan holiday christmas, where did Jesus command us to celebrate his birthday?

jeremiah 10:2-5
2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

so all you apostates who love to speak against God's Word and slam ppl like me for professing God's Word, we fear you not~!

Susanna,

No problem. I would like to talk with you personally as long as we both realize that personal e mail isn't a blog. I had hope that you'd tag onto this discussion and would like to understand your perspective. It isn't very likey we'll convert one another but I'm not certain there is a need to do so.

My personal e mail is steve0043@yahoo.com.

Merry Christmas to you too and thank you for being willing to have a discussion.

Rather than calling me by my name here, call me Steve please and I'll post as myself from now on. There are many, many reasons I haven't done so to this point.

I work nights in transportation and live in Wisconsin so during winter, I might not be the world's fastest responder. But I'll do my best.

I know someone who is more than ready at the drop of a hat to argue about trees, lights, cards, gifts, the actual date of Christ's birth, etc (actually any given subject). Is there a pagan history of these things? - yes of course there is, no argument there. The sad thing is, this person is also a very angry, unforgiving, self-righteous individual, who doesn't do much with his time except try to find ANY subject with which he can browbeat and criticize others, point out THEIR sins and shortcomings, display his extensive scriptural knowledge, and subsequently draws all the attention to himself (he rarely stays on subjects of love, compassion, gifts of the spirit, etc). I've often wondered how many people he could DRAW to Christ if he applied his intense zeal to discuss anything with a modicum of humility and love. Of course then, he's said, he does it all out of love for the "rest of us". Poor guy doesn't realize he appears so smug and superior in his own eyes to others, the only thing he draws is repulsion to HIS personality. Hey wait a minute, do we know each other???

Bomber Had No Passport, Helped To Board Plane By Sharp-Dressed Man

A passenger who boarded Northwest Airlines Flight 253 in Amsterdam with attempted plane bomber Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab says the would-be terrorist had no passport and was aided by a sharp-dressed man who claimed Mutallab was a Sudanese refugee, just one of a plethora of startling inconsistencies surrounding an incident that has led to ramped up security and increased levels of harassment in airports.

Every single fact that has come to light since the attempted bombing on Christmas Day directly indicates that the bomber was deliberately allowed to board the plane and that his attack would have succeeded if not for the alert and brave reactions of the passengers and flight crew.

According to Kurt Haskell, an attorney with the Haskell Law Firm in Taylor, Michigan, “He and his wife were sitting on the ground near their boarding gate in Amsterdam, which is when they saw Mutallab approach the gate with an unidentified man.”

Mutallab was a poorly dressed, young looking individual, but he was accompanied by a man in an expensive suit, Haskell told MLive.com.

“He says the suited man asked ticket agents whether Mutallab could board without a passport. “The guy said, ‘He’s from Sudan and we do this all the time.’”

Although Mutallab is Nigerian, Haskell said the well-dressed man portrayed him as a desperate Sudanese refugee in an attempt to elicit sympathy and as a way of bypassing his lack of documents.

“The ticket agent referred Mutallab and his companion to her manager down the hall, and Haskell didn’t see Mutallab again until after he allegedly tried to detonate an explosive on the plane,” states the report.

Crucially, Haskell said that after the plane landed he saw another man being taken into custody by the FBI along with Mutallab. However, the FBI later said that Mutallab was the only individual taken into custody.

Were the feds retrieving their own agent, the sharp dressed man who ensured that Mutallab boarded the plane despite his overwhelmingly suspicious circumstances?

henry makow is evil because he is pushing for the feminization of men
and the masculinization of women, and he is doing it in a covert way by pretending to be against sodomy and against feminism, yet his ideas if followed to their natural conclusion would cause this satanic confusion....

take for instance his stance of men being forced to do dangerous and life threatening work ... seriously sir, men have been doing this since being sent out of the garden of eden, what is new here is not henry's exposing this, it is his un biblical whining about it and blaming women for it by way of their entry into the workforce...
well henry ... women have been in the workforce since being sent out of the garden of eden, and in the bible a virtuous woman brings in a small income by way of making and selling things...
henry would have us think all wanky and backwards, he would have us believe we are killing our men and we need to preserve them like they were the weaker vessel...
i have seen his "work" first hand... a mother will work a job for 8 hours come home and work the home job, kids, cooking, cleaning, waiting on hubby... while he sits with a beer and watches the "game"
the entire burden has been shifted to the woman who gets worked to death and goes to an early grave, then the hubby gets to chase geriatric skirt whilst living on retirement.....
his whole website stinks of this kind of unfairness to women... and to make matters worse he has went out of his way to "procure" a foreign bride so he may abuse her ignorance, and show how much he hates american women and believes most to be a feminist nazi type...
the undercurrent of his theory is in short... men are poor put upon overworked people, so lets give them all the easy jobs, and a pillow for their feet after work, and victorias secret models for his amusement whilst we toil and drudge in the mire after we have finished our 8 hour days...
i am now sadly witness to this very thing every day, men become more immature and women have had to take up the slack, and henry is cheering on all the al bundy's of the world and calling us women peggy bundy's...
this is why i dislike mr makow
he is a selfish petulant brat...

Anonymous said...

i also have to add women who have to shoulder all the burden in the home need an au pair, seriously they really need a second pair of hands ... so they vote in socialist politicians and laws ... trying to get the help they desperately need

this is also why welfare mothers vote socialist, they vote the state or federal government to be a surrogate husband...

i blame people like henry makow for making limp wristed emotionally unavailable men more acceptable in today's society

As a devout Catholic, I can tell you that the biggest 'red flag' with this Caritas group (cult) in Birmingham, Alabama is that their priority is all about MONEY.

Mary is probably horrified that a group, claiming to represent one of her apparitions, was asking for MONEY.

Whether it was through an apparition at Fatima, Portugal in 1917 - or an apparition st Medjugorde (in the former Yugoslavia) in 1981 - all Mary has ever requested was simply for all of mankind to return to her Son, Jesus . . . PERIOD!!!

Check out today's Drudge Report and the video from C-SPAN . . .

A speech by Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) on health care has been generating buzz on the Internet, as the Drudge Report and others are suggesting that Baucus was slurring his speech and possibly "intoxicated" during his remarks.

"DRUNK WITH POWER? TOP DEM SLURS ON SENATE FLOOR ..." reads the Drudge Report headline.

Newsbusters.org writes: "How can one explain this incredibly bizarre performance by Max Baucus on the Senate floor? Was Baucus so intoxicated by the sound of his own voice that he went off the deep end? Or perhaps he was so drunk with power over shaping the Senate health care bill that it explains his strange rant."

On his Facebook page, former Rep. Mark Foley commented on the video: "This is the senator that hired his staffer and then took her on trips ... and divorced his wife ... and they had me run out of town."

An e-mail seeking comment has been sent to Sen. Baucus's office, and we will update this post when we hear back.

Well I watched "Avatar" with some kids the other day. It takes place on the planet Pandora, where earth has established a mining camp but there are indigenous humanoid creatures who stand in the way of mining this metal called "unobtainium". (I laughed out loud when they said the name of the metal - how unoriginal! It was self-parody at its best...)

We went to Hacienda afterward to discuss the movie, and the New Age overtones.

These are kids who have never heard the term New Age, but knew all about Paganism, Animism, and other related things, because this is what they are being taught in school.

I knew they would see the movie anyway, and I thought it best to see it with someone who can show them the underlying themes and plant a seed of truth to begin to counter the lies they are being taught, both in school and in the culture that surrounds them.

Our children are being "harvested" by the enemy - there's no better way to put it that I can think of - to be a part of the coming deception, and those who aren't grounded in the Bible and in God will welcome it.

One thing that really jumped out at me, Constance, was a line in the movie that was word-for-word something you were told back in the days when you were still ramping up your investigation into the NAM. There is a scene where one of the earthlings who has taken on the form of one of the indigenous peoples (through some kind of mental take-over of its body - hence the "Avatar" title) is surrounded by animals attacking him in the middle of a forest. He is trying to fight them off and not doing very well, and he's about to be chewed up by a pack of these things, and another indigenous humanoid comes to his rescue and they wipe out the pack together. He walks up to her to express his thanks, and she turns on him in anger and says "There is no thanks for this!" (meaning the killing of the attacking animals). The idea comes across loud and clear that all is one, and that the killing of the attacker was an evil necessity. A bit more dialog, and the human/avatar says "Well, thanks for taking my side." The native turns in anger on him again, and with a kind of venom that left an impression on me, spat out the words "There are no sides!!"

Does that phrase ring a bell, Constance?

Yes, this movie concerns me greatly, as it is #1 in the box office and is set to make more money than any movie in history.

(That doesn't surprise me though - the tickets were $8 because it was 3-D, and when the ticket prices are 25% higher than the tickets for the previous record-holder, it's no surprise that it will break the record in sales.)

I wonder what this PANDORA meme is that has taken over of late? I have run into it in computer stuff. Then there are the myriad retail stores that are selling PANDORA charm bracelets and you can't get away from the advertising, TV, radio, magazines. And now this movie. Keeping in mind the story of PANDORA and her container that held all the evils in the world....

Marko,

According to Wikipedia an avatar is an incarnation of a Hindu deity. I agree with Constance and determined a few years ago that I, too, will not use any icon representation to denote me in discussion boards, im's, etc.

Thanks for going with the kids and helping them to understand the principles behind what is going on in the movie.

Your observations are very interesting. Do you remember exactly where in Constance's book you found the references you are talking about. I'd like to mark them.

Thanks!

Marko said...

Terri,

It wasn't in her book that those comments came up, it was in a video she did for Stanley Montieth about the NAM, and her testimony about how she got started in it all.

About half way through she is talking about a prominent woman with whom she met who was organizing an election campaign in the city of Detroit, and she was trying to pry more information out of her by showing interest in this "New Age Movement", and the woman she was speaking to used the exact same phrase at one point in their conversation (if I remember correctly): "There are no sides!"
