JIM CHANNON, 1ST EARTH BATTALION, PLANETARY WARRIOR?

I wrote with concern of Jim Channon and his first earth Battalion in my book, THE HIDDEN DANGERS OF THE RAINBOW. Last weekend I viewed with amusement a series of YouTube video presentations by retired Lieutenant Colonel Jim Channon. On one, he said he had recently googled himself and his First Earth Battalion. It was 30 years, he said, since he "and the army He was "amused" to see how many references referred to himself as "Luciferian." "Did you ever meet a Luciferian in your whole life?" asks Channon.

Well, considering all jokes about an alleged oxymoron of "military intelligence" aside, Channon's statements are disingenuous at best, deliberate deception at worst. Channon had close self-publicized associations with Marilyn Ferguson, Planetary Citizens/Donald Keys, Lou Tice (Pacific Institute/ New Age Thinking), Esalen Institute, Findhorn Foundation, et al, ad nauseum.
Working closely with Channon these days is a "Captain Dave Lakota" of "Alaska Cavalry Command." Lakota reports, if his (Lakota's) video is to be believed, from the "North Pole Region" saying "Operation Noble Steward is a go -- OVER AND OUT."

Channon sits a bit more comfortably ensconced than his "planetary warriors" at "North Pole" commands. He holds forth from Hawaii. He uses a creepily named Arcturus.org requiring a user name and password for full entre. He laughs about his shamanic storytelling saying they are essential tools to build "the world we want." He evidently wants "storytelling with a mask and a little ceremony" to be necessary rituals in corporate cultures.

Channon tells of his use of neurolinguistic programming to reprogram people to the planetary warrior mentality he wants. NLP was one of the more sordid episodes of New Age history. Richard Bandler believed anybody could be "transformed" even if it was at the point of a gun reported a well written MOTHER JONES article in the late 1980s.

Channon has relationships with another person I have closely watched -- Paul Temple. Paul Temple, you will recall is a major link between the farthest extremes of the New Age Movement and the most powerful centers of American evangelical Christianity -- "The Family" or "C Street Center" or "Fellowship Foundation / International Foundation", whatever, of Doug Coe any of his successors. Channon is a fellow of the World Business Academy. Channon has also worked closely with Lou Tice of Pacific Institute, another interesting and disturbing New Age/Christian interface. Thomas Nelson and Company published books by Lou Tice long after his New Age agenda was openly exposed.

In one of his recently posted youtube videos, National governments per Channon are taking up "too much damn space." They need to be allowed to diminish in their importance, print money in their name, decide 'whose God is best. . .

Another current project of Channon and his ready for mobilization earth warriors is something called Earth Rise which appears, inter alia, to be a propaganda program for school children which includes the sorts of New Age ritual initiation that Channon pursued with military assistance starting in the late 1970s.
Channon is practicing a time honored disinformation technique -- the BIG LIE approach. Hopefully, you will not be dumb enough to buy it. His agenda is to pressure people into crossing a forbidden biblical line -- earth worship. The time has come to fear God who created the heaven, the earth, the seas and the fountains of waters. Channon and cohorts would have you worship anybody and everybody but the true Creator.
As for me and our house, we shall serve the Lord. If you value your freedoms and more important , if you value your soul, steer clear of Jim Channon and cohorts.

Oh, at his Arcturus.org, Channon is selling "original copies" of his "First Earth Battalion" manual, apparently to raise money for himself and his Arcturus.org venture. I've had my own copy since 1982. To read about its HIDDEN DANGERS and FOR FREE, click here and download "HIDDEN DANGERS ANDCOVER"

Have a great day and join me tonight on MY PERSPECTIVE internet radio. Jayanti Tamm was a great guest the other night and I am going to talk to Joe McNeil about rerunning it and/or making it available for download from my PRESENTATIONS FOR DOWNLOADING link here.

Researching this morning, I found a new face and voice to watch out for. His name is DOMINIC ALLAMANO. Very dangerously convincing speaker who appears to be of a generation that fully digested and accepted David Spangler type teachings. SCARY!

Allamano may - wittingly or unwittingly - be indirectly imbibing some of the teachings of Carlos Castaneda through his association with Augustus Keala Young and his teachings - which include something called "Tensegrity" which originated with Buckminster Fuller and were incorporated into the teachings of Carlos Castaneda.

I have added important material to the article. Please refresh your browsers. Note particularly the creepy mobius (666 appearing) that also appeared on the cover of Marilyn Ferguson's THE AQUARIAN CONSPIRACY. Jim Channon is one swaggering, dishonest New Ager who boldly advances their agenda while denying its obvious source. Note how he talks about his even much higher military level talk when you go to his First Earth Battalion website.

'We are God's partners in matters of life and death'

A reader points out that President Obama's call with the rabbis today — as recorded in Rabbi Jack Moline's and other clerics' Twitter feeds — freights health care reform with a great deal of religious meaning, and veers into the blend of policy and faith that outraged liberals in the last administration.

"We are God's partners in matters of life and death," Obama said, according to Moline (paging Sarah Palin...), quoting from the Rosh Hashanah prayer that says that in the holiday period, it is decided "who shall live and who shall die."

The president ended the call by wishing the rabbis "shanah tovah," or happy new year — in reference to the High Holidays a month from now.

Craig said...

"We are God's partners in matters of life and death," Obama said

The question is: which god is Obama refering to? His claim of being a Christian falls WAY short of substance. This is, of course, his usual duplicity. He'll do anything and align himself with anybody as a means to his end of a single-payer system.

"EU think-tank urges military development
August 15, 2009 7:00 PM EDT
The EU will have to significantly develop its military capacity in the next decade if it wishes to have a credible foreign and security policy, according to the Union's own foreign policy think tank.....

More controversially, it is also recommended that the EU should commit itself to have a sizeable force with adequate equipment ready to deploy at any time - over 100,000 in a constant state of readiness, or 300,000 troops allowing for rotation, by 2020. A common budget should also be established, and the possibility of launching missions before all political decisions have been taken ''to minimise critical procedural delays'' should be considered."

E.U. wants deadline on Arab statehood
August 17, 9:43 AMNY Israel Conflict Examiner
Richard Shulman

Javier Solana, foreign policy head of the E.U., demanded that a deadline be set for Palestinian Authority (P.A.) statehood. If the deadline passes, the Security Council would set up the new Arab state, making all the decisions on it.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry called that “dangerous.” Prior Security Council Resolutions and agreements between Israel and the P.A. left final status arrangements to two-party negotiations. Israel did not state why the E.U. idea is dangerous (http://www.imra.org.il/ Independent Media Review Analysis -- IMRA, 7/11). Abbas already refuses to negotiate, unless Netanyahu agrees to his chief demands (http://www.imra.org.il/ Independent Media Review Analysis -- IMRA, 7/12). What kind of negotiations do you call it, which follow a pre-determination of some major issues?

Here is why the E.U. plan is dangerous. The Security Council favors the Arabs. The Arab demands would leave Israel without defensible borders. Therefore, the P.A. likely would refuse to negotiate, so the deadline would pass. The new Arab state would be able to build up its own army and invite other armies in. They likely would invade an Israel likely having indefensible borders."

Accorcing to a World Business Academy report dated May 29,2008,George Clooney is supposed to play Jim Channon in a movie entitled THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS.

http://tinyurl.com/nrhzr3
___________________________

Given the recent reports about the proposed 117+ million dollars that the Pentagon claims it needs in order to inflict Dr. Martin Seligman's controversial (by military standards) pre-emptive pop psycho-twaddle on our
troops in order to stave off anger, depression and suicidal tendencies, the "goat caper" ought to REALLY give one pause.

British documentary filmmaker Jon Ronson was the author of a book entitled "Them: Adventures with Extremists."

In his funny, frightening non-fiction follow-up, The Men Who Stare at Goats" (Simon & Schuster, $24), Ronson tracks an equally bizarre group of individuals within U.S. military intelligence whose experiments in psychic warfare and paranormal abilities stretch from LSD experiments in the Fifties to the current strategic use of the Barney "I Love You" song on Iraqi prisoners of war.

Along the way, he discovered links between military psychological operations (or PsyOps) and the 1989 capture of Panamian dictator Manuel Noriega, the 1993 siege of the Branch Davidian compound at Waco and the 1997 mass suicide of the Heaven's Gate religious cult.

Ronson's weird travels begin in 1983 in the office of Maj. Gen. Albert Stubblebine III, the Army's chief of intelligence from 1981-84, as he attempts to walk through his office wall by harmonizing his atomic structure with that of the wall. A badly bruised nose follows. His private experiments with self-levitation never get off the ground either.

The general was intrigued by the potential of the mind to end war, as outlined in the First Earth Battalion Operations Manual, a 125-page reinvention of military life by Lt. Col. Jim Channon (ret.), a Vietnam vet turned martial arts mystic. Channon's vision, one part Carlos Castaneda, one part Esalen seminar, was to retrain soldiers into "warrior monks" who can see into the future, read minds and have out-of-body experiences. If the enemy failed to dig their peaceful vibe, the monks might retaliate by blaring "discordant sounds" such as "acid-rock music out of sync" at them.
Ronson got wind of a unit at Fort Bragg that had subsequently experimented with a more offensive psychic technique: killing a goat by staring at it. He interviewed one former member of "Goat Lab" who reportedly managed to achieve this goal, and another who reportedly stared a hamster to death.

"I would love to believe, but all evidence seems to point otherwise," says Ronson. "Sometimes mysterious things do happen, but it's just unverifiable."

In the '90s, the mind corps moved heavily into white noise and subliminal messages. Ronson describes how PsyOps flew a Moscow scientist to Waco to implant the voice of God (Charlton Heston was tabbed for the role) into the music being leveled at the Branch Davidian compound. A similar mind-numbing technique is still being unleashed on Iraqi POWs through repeated ear-shattering doses of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" and the Barney song, Ronson says.

Since the World Trade Center attacks, Ronson says PsyOps and Homeland Security have re-enlisted old First Earth Battalion operatives, including spoon-bender Uri Geller, to lend their psychic abilities to the war on terror.

"I'm sure that all the remote viewers (psychic spies) from the old days were called up right after 9/11. I'm sure they're back in business. The one thing I would love to have found out that I didn't is a 'nonspecific threat' warning coming out of John Ashcroft's mouth that could be traced back to a psychic divination from one of these guys. I spent months following that line of inquiry."

I find the timing of the recent call by Solana - coinciding with Obama's news that there will be a plan presented in weeks - accompanied with the recent negotiations amazing.
Could this be anymore scripted?
The only thing of a larger note would be the build up of military hardware by Syria and Iran with a wink and a nod from Russia - waiting for the call to "resist".

C.I.A. Sought Blackwater’s Help to Kill Jihadists

The New York Times (08/20/09)

WASHINGTON — The Central Intelligence Agency in 2004 hired outside contractors from the private security contractor Blackwater USA as part of a secret program to locate and assassinate top operatives of Al Qaeda, according to current and former government officials.

Executives from Blackwater, which has generated controversy because of its aggressive tactics in Iraq, helped the spy agency with planning, training and surveillance. The C.I.A. spent several million dollars on the program, which did not successfully capture or kill any terrorist suspects.

The fact that the C.I.A. used an outside company for the program was a major reason that Leon E. Panetta, the C.I.A.’s director, became alarmed and called an emergency meeting in June to tell Congress that the agency had withheld details of the program for seven years, the officials said.

Constance,

Thank you for your kind words.

The mentioning of Uri Geller in the exerpt of that article I just posted is interesting.

Geller has reportedly been "brought in from the cold" since 9/11

Judith Skutch Whitson and Edgar Mitchell were among the strongest promoters of Uri Geller in the past.

Judith Skutch Whitson - a Life Director of the IONS - is currently the head of the FOUNDATION FOR INNER PEACE which publishes and distributes the COURSE IN MIRACLES. She is also a founding board member of the Fetzer Institute.

http://www.noetic.org/about/board

j_whitson.html

Paul N. Temple and Diane Temple are also Life Board members of the IONS and Diane Temple sits on the Board of the Foundation For Inner Peace.
________________________________

The COURSE IN MIRACLES was channeled by Helen Schucman whose "scribe" was William Thetford, a man who had once headed up a government mind control project that morphed into MK-ULTRA.

It stands to reason that if Jim Channon is closely assoociated with Paul N. Temple, then he is likely tuned into the rest.

Obama worked with another Alinsky style organization, the Gamaliel organization. Another good write up on this now over at Atlas Shrugs.

Obama and Gamaliel's Freak Show: Faith Hijacking Strategy

The Obama/Gamaliel connection was whitewashed during the election campaign, but no more. The narrative is being re-written. Check out this new "explanation" of Obama's ties to Gamaliel by Greg Galluzo, written with messianic ardor: (hat tip Laura)

And at this time we were just creating the Gamaliel Foundation. I met with Barack on a regular basis as he incorporated the Developing Communities Project, as he moved the organization into action and as he developed the leadership structure for the organization. He would write beautiful and brilliant weekly reports about his work and the people he was engaging.

Back in September, IBD dug around a bit into this unsettling alliance:

From 1985 to 1988, he worked for a subsidiary of the Chicago-based Gamaliel Foundation, founded on the principles of Saul "The Red" Alinsky. He worked as a consultant and trainer. On the board of Gamaliel sat Northwestern University professor John L. McKnight, a student of Alinsky's radical tactics. While at Gamaliel, McKnight became Obama's mentor in community organizing.

As we have noted, when Obama worked for Gamaliel, he was paid by the Woods Foundation, which supported the radical group. Obama would later serve on the Woods Foundation board with terrorist and socialism advocate William Ayers. McKnight schooled young Obama in the gospel according to Alinsky. He apparently saw much promise in the budding politician, a way to advance Alinsky's radical socialist agenda into the highest levels in government. (more at the link)

Dawn, thanks for sharing that great information on the IAF. As the writer said, if there is ever a chance to go to one of their operative meetings, go and learn.

So far, I haven't seen any indication that IAF or any of its affiliates is active in my parish or diocese, but one of the IAF's Massachusetts affiliates is the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization(GBIO)which bears watching - especially on account of Obama's new "get the churches involved in promoting Obamacare" (a.k.a. "LESS - care!") initiative.
________

Dorothy,

On February 12, 2007, the late Carrie Tomko did a couple of articles on the Gamaliel Foundation focusing on its ties to the Catholic Church.
__________

GAMALIEL FOUNDATION

Their website indicates:

Four major organizing networks work throughout the United States: the Gamaliel Foundation, the Industrial Areas Foundation (both headquartered in Chicago), the Pacific Institute for Community Organizations and the District Action Resource Training group (in Miami).

They include churches across the ecumenical spectrum: Lutheran, Catholic, Methodist, UCC, Presbyterian, Baptist, Episcopal, AME, CGOIC, independent, etc. And in most locals they are in racially mixed organizations, with white; black and Hispanic constituents.

"San Francisco Faith" carried a letter on the Industrial Areas Foundation in October 2002. There you can read:

- Saul Alinsky, founder of the Industrial Areas Foundation...

- Most disturbing to the Catholic is that Alinsky taught his people's organizations Machiavellian political action--that "the ends justify the means," that "truth to an organizer is relative and changing," and that "you do what you can with what you have and clothe it in moral garments." (See Alinsky's RULES FOR RADICALS)

- This IAF "Magnificat" is offered as an example of how one is "to reflect on the Gospels in order to find the proper response to our own situation" when using a see-judge-act pedagogy of conscientization.

- The religious and family values of Catholics are used to spark a conversation between them and the IAF. The IAF then uses the relationship built from those values to introduce another set of values--those of the IAF.

- One writer from San Antonio, Ed Hinojosa, attributes the incredible attrition in his diocese of Hispanic Catholics to other religions as directly related to the degree the IAF has been promoted there. He writes: "MACC and the San Antonio chancery have created and spread comunidades de base or base communities through which liberation theology is taught, and in every parish where they have created them, there has been either bitter division or no response. Lay people have not accepted the liberationist teachings coming from the chancery. People get disillusioned and leave the Church."

Regarding those four points made in the SF Faith letter, I have the following comments:

- RULES FOR RADICALS is one of the books that constitute required reading for Gamaliel organizers. Doing what you can with what you have and then cloaking it in moral arguments amounts to a deceptive front costumed to be appealing to whatever the latest trend in the Church happens to be. For Catholics today, the latest trend is back to orthodoxy. Thus a promoter of Saul Alinsky-type activity would simply kneel before the Eucharist so as to look good to the gullible.

- See-Judge-Act pedagogy is the methodology of Pax Christi and the Sillon, two organizations that were involved with Polish communism. I blogged on them here.

- Liberation Theology has been condemned by Cardinal Ratzinger:

"An analysis of the phenomenon of liberation theology reveals that it constitutes a fundamental threat to the faith of the Church. At the same time it must be borne in mind that no error could persist unless it contained a grain of truth. Indeed, an error is all the more dangerous, the greater that grain of truth is, for then the temptation it exerts is all the greater."

- Fr. Paul Shindler, a member of the Gamaliel organization, is pastor of St. Bernard's parish and was the pastor of an El Salvadoran parish for ten years. He still makes trips back to the Central American parish periodically. He made one in January. St. Bernard's church is about as orthodox in its interior decoration as it is possible to be. There is an Hispanic community within the St. Bernard's parishioners.

I have been saying for some time that there are as many problems on the right as there are on the left. Those who would undermine the Church are shape-shifters. They will do what they have to do in order to accomplish their goals. Their goals are not the goals of the Church Christ founded and the Pope.

A number of priests in the Akron area were dues paying members of an organization called the Gamaliel Foundation in 2004. Specifically, those priests are:

Fr. Mike Matutz, St. Martha Catholic Church
Fr. Paul Rosing, Annunciation Catholic Church
Fr. Pete Coletti, St. Martha Catholic Church
Fr. Ralph Colleta, St. John Catholic Church
Rev. Joseph Kraker, St. Vincent Catholic Church
Fr. William Karg, St. Sebastian Catholic Church
Fr. Paul Schindler, St. Bernard Catholic Church
Fr. Jim Ragnoni, St. Anthony Catholic Church
Fr. Thomas McGovern, St. Matthew Catholic Church
*Fr. Richard Arko, St. Mary Catholic Church, Barberton
Fr. Richard Burchell, St. Augustine Catholic Church

*Fr. Richard Arko was put on administrative leave in 2004 after it was discovered that he and his housemate were growing marijuana in the rectory.

Mr. Tom Allio, of the Akron Catholic Commission is also a member.

The names can be seen on the list here.

Gamaliel Foundation's history is described briefly here, including a reference to Saul Alinsky:

This type of community organizing began in Chicago in 1938. Saul Alinsky created the "Back of the Yards Community Council". The organization operated in the shadow of Chicago’s stock yards. The community was beset with poverty, political corruption, gangs, disease, deteriorating housing and inadequate schools; but most of all it was beset with a sense of powerlessness. The organization successfully engaged people to change the conditions of the community. Its motto was, "We shall decide our own destiny." And to a large extent and for some time, they did just that.

The Gamaliel Foundation First Year Reading List for New Organizers, 2002, includes books by Saul Alinsky, RULES FOR RADICALS, and REVEILLE FOR RADICALS. Note that "Titles in bold print are required reading for first year organizers in the Gamaliel Foundation." (I wonder what's on the second year reading list?)

"Playboy" magazine interviewed Alinsky in 1972. The interview is online. The second question asked in the interview is noteworthy:

PLAYBOY: What was your own relationship with the Communist Party?

ALINSKY: I knew plenty of Communists in those days, and I worked with them on a number of projects. Back in the Thirties, the Communists did a hell of a lot of good work; they were in the vanguard of the labor movement and they played an important role in aiding blacks and Okies and Southern sharecroppers. Anybody who tells you he was active in progressive causes in those days and never worked with the Reds is a goddamn liar. Their platform stood for all the right things, and unlike many liberals, they were willing to put their bodies on the line. Without the Communists, for example, I doubt the C.I.O. could have won all the battles it did. I was also sympathetic to Russia in those days, not because I admired Stalin or the Soviet system but because it seemed to be the only country willing to stand up to Hitler. I was in charge of a big part of fund raising for the International Brigade and in that capacity I worked in close alliance with the Communist Party.

When the Nazi-Soviet Pact came, though, and I refused to toe the party line and urged support for England and for American intervention in the war, the party turned on me tooth and nail. Chicago Reds plastered the Back of the Yards with big posters featuring a caricature of me with a snarling, slavering fanged mouth and wild eyes, labeled, "This is the face of a warmonger." But there were too many Poles, Czechs, Lithuanians and Latvians in the area for that tactic to go over very well. Actually, the greatest weakness of the party was its slavish parroting of the Moscow line. It could have been much more effective if it had adopted a relatively independent stance, like the western European parties do today. But all in all, and despite my own fights with them, I think the Communists of the Thirties deserve a lot of credit for the struggles they led or participated in. Today the party is just a shadow of the past, but in the Depiession it was a positive force for social change. A lot of its leaders and organizers were jerks, of course, but objectively the party in those days was on the right side and did considerable good.

All of the priests listed above together with all of the non-Catholic members of the Gamaliel Foundation that are active in Akron, Ohio, belong to SCCOPE (Summit County Organizations Organized for Progress and Empowerment).

Once we called the followers of Saul Alinsky Communists. Now we call them Catholic priests. One of the priests listed wore the chasuble with a triangle on it that I blogged on last Sunday.

The Cleveland Diocese is sick. Being a member of it makes me feel dirty.

UPDATE

discoverthenetworks.org, "A Guide to the Political Left" reports on the Gamaliel Foundation saying:

The Gamaliel Network receives much of its funding from the leftist group Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). Yet according to the Roman Catholic Faithful website, GF's "goals and p[hilosophies are at fundamental odds with Church teaching." GF endorses "scriptural relativism" and "encourage[s] a wide range of scriptural interpretations."...

The Gamaliel Foundation receives grants from the Bauman Family Foundation, the Public Welfare Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and others.

The Catholic Campaign for Human Development is the domestic anti-poverty, social justice program of the U.S. Catholic bishops.

Unfortunately, when we conservative Catholics read and hear the words "social justice,"
we more often than not read and hear the words "socialism" and "Liberation theology."

Even more unfortunate - and scandalous - is the fact that suspended priest and Liberation Theology architect Miguel D'EScoto Brockman (who received the Lenin peace Prize from the old Soviet Union)should rise to become UN General Assembly President. It is no secret, moreover, that he is still supporting Ortega who is currently portraying himself as a "kinder gentler Sandanista."

Talk about "down the rabbit hole!!!"

Echoing St. Augustine, the late great C.S. Lewis (who is quoted by Lee Penn in his book FALSE DAWN) wrote something quite profound and quite prophetic when he wrote:

"Fascism and communism, like all other evils are potent because of the GOOD that they contain or imitate (Diabolus Simia Dei).
And of course their occasion is the failure of those who left humanity starved of that particular good.
this does not for me alter the conviction that they are very bad indeed.
One of the things we must guard against is the penetration of both into Christianity - availing themselves of that very truth you have suggested and I have admitted.
Mark my words: You will presently see both a Leftist and a Rightist pseudo-theology developing - the abomination will stand where it ought not."

One of the most profound lines of the late poet T.S. Eliot's MURDER IN THE CATHEDRAL reads:

"The last temptation is the greatest treason/To do the right thing for the wrong reason"

The ultimate betrayal begins with a kiss!

Re: your question

I wonder if the movie will be flattering or unflattering to Channon?

I just unexpectedly found an article about the film on Wikipedia. Apparently the names have been changed to protect the guilty:

THE MEN WHO STATE AT GOATS(film)

The Men Who Stare at Goats is 2009 American comedy film by director Grant Heslov due for release on November 6, 2009. Based on the book of the same title by author Jon Ronson.....

...Goats tells the true (albeit somewhat bizarre) story about a top secret unit within the American military whose purpose is to develop mind-control powers for “psychic spying.” The film follows a reporter, Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor), who stumbles into the story of a lifetime when he meets a special forces agent, Lyn Cassady (George Clooney). As they embark on a new mission, Lyn reveals his twenty-year involvement in this top secret, psychic military unit and shares details of their activities, each more bizarre than the last (including staring at goats in order to kill them telepathically). In this quirky dark comedy inspired by a real life story you will hardly believe is actually true, astonishing revelations about a top-secret wing of the U.S. military come to light when a reporter encounters an enigmatic Special Forces operator on a mind-boggling mission

THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS

The Men Who Stare at Goats is a 2004 non-fiction book by Jon Ronson about the U.S. Army's exploration of New Age concepts and the potential military applications of the paranormal. The title refers to attempts to kill goats by staring at them....
...The book accompanies a three-part TV series broadcast on Channel 4 in Britain, Crazy Rulers of the World. Frank Olsen, who has just been mentioned above, was believed to have been a victim of MK-ULTRA.

Frank Olson (July 17, 1910 – November 28, 1953) was a U.S. Army scientist who died under mysterious circumstances while undertaking secret research with the U.S. Army.

Olson's death was initially ruled a suicide, but this verdict has been disputed....

....Frank Olson was a chemist with the Army's top secret Special Operations Division at Fort Detrick in Frederick, Maryland. His specific research in the Army is unknown, but he was involved in biological weapons research and experimented with mind control drugs.

In 1953, as Deputy Acting Head of Special Operations for the CIA, Olson associated with William Sargant, investigating the use of psychoactive drugs at Britain's Biological Warfare Centre at Porton Down.

MKULTRA AND OLSON'S DEATH

According to the government's version of events, as part of the MKULTRA mind control experiments, Olson was dosed with LSD without his knowledge, subsequently suffering severe paranoia and a nervous breakdown. The CIA sent him to New York to see one of their psychiatrists, who recommended that Olson be placed into a mental institution for recovery.

On his last night in Manhattan, Olson purportedly threw himself out his tenth-floor hotel room window, dying on impact.

The explosive nature of the Olson intimations about CIA torture-to-death in Germany and bacteriologic warfare on North Korea were revealed in a German documentary and clearly laid out in phone interviews with Olson's sons (see external links).

.....His family had no knowledge of the details of the accident until the Rockefeller Commission started uncovering some of the CIA's MKULTRA activities. In 1975, the government admitted that Olson had been dosed with LSD without his knowledge. The government offered his family an out of court settlement of $750,000, which they accepted.

In 1994, Eric Olson had his father's body exhumed. The forensic scientist in charge of the examination, George Washington University professor James E. Starrs, determined that Olson had suffered some form of blunt force trauma to the temple/forehead prior to falling out of the broken window, but contrarily had no visible laceration indicating that he fell through a broken window. The evidence was called "rankly and starkly suggestive of homicide." Based on his findings, in 1996 the Manhattan District Attorney opened a homicide investigation into Olson's death, but was unable to find enough evidence to bring charges....read entire article......

If so, just shop at THE MEN'S WAREHOUSE. The Rainbow Body Research Project While well-controlled experiments are fundamental to the Noetic Sciences research program, they are not the only or even best way to study the mysteries of consciousness. Our program also engages in a natural science approach, observing phenomena as they occur in the world. Ancient wisdom texts in Tibet, China, and India, for example, describe a unique phenomenon appearing at the time immediately following bodily death in some spiritual adepts. The "rainbow body" ('ja 'lus in Tibetan) is the literal transformation of the whole person into light, into transcendence. Its manifestation is considered one of the key signs of spiritual realization within these traditions. Those rare individuals who manifest the rainbow body do not leave their bodies behind to rot; rather, the body is believed to be transformed into light. In recent months, reports coming out of Tibet describe the attainment of the rainbow body by a Gelugpa monk, Khenpo Lama a-Chung, who lived and died in eastern Khams, Tibet. Three of his teachers are still alive in nearby villages; and his attendant, Lobsang Nyen Thag, lives in a nearby gonpa (spiritual center). Other witnesses now living in India also attest to the events surrounding the Khenpo's manifestation of the rainbow body. IONS has sent a highly skilled team to gather evidence relative to the alleged Rainbow Body manifestation. The expedition is led by Fr. Francis Tiso, a Buddhist scholar working in collaboration with Brother David Stendl-Rast, a Catholic monk and Buddhist scholar. Fr. Tiso has gone to the villages in Tibet where the Khenpo and his teachers lived, to interview those who witnessed his dying. He is now collecting oral histories of the monk's life, spiritual practices, and death events, which occurred less than two years ago. The study team will also translate the Chinese and Tibetan texts reporting on this case. The rainbow body experience attributed to Khenpo a-Chung represents the far end of a spectrum of exceptional spiritual experience that is cross-cultural and extends throughout recorded history. The opportunity to investigate a contemporary claim for its attainment offers a unique window into the far reaches of human nature, and the hope that we may deepen our understanding of phenomena that are presently inexplicable to mainstream science. "

What is happening in America now . . .

America is in the midst of a revolution -- and not a single shot will be fired.

Have you heard the story of "The Boiled Frog"?

They say that if you put a frog into a pot of boiling water, it will immediately leap out to escape the danger.

But, if you put a frog in a kettle that is filled with water that is cool and pleasant, and then you gradually heat the kettle until it starts boiling, the frog will not become aware of the threat until it is too late.

The frog's survival instincts are geared towards detecting sudden changes . . . rather than slow, gradual changes.

It's time to wake up, America before it's too late!!!

The Fetzer Institute has partnered with The Association for Global New Thought.

Synthesis Dialogues II were held in Trent, Italy. The report to Fetzer on the Dialogues is titled "Grounded in Discipline, Open to Magic." The word "awakening"--the Gurdjieff variety?--is used in the report. If, in fact, this "awakening" is the Gurdjieff variety, it concerns contact with disembodied spirits.

Fetzer is closely associated with Anthroposophy, an offshoot of Blavatsky's Theosophy. For example, the calendar for Anthroposophy in Australia listing presentations offers "Buddhism and Anthroposophy, presented by Prof. Arthur Zajonc, former program director of the Fetzer Institute and former General Secretary of the Anthroposophical Society in America. Zajonc is a member of Lindisfarne Fellows which also includes a number of other liberals.

Pakistani Christians Under Attack
By: Faith J. H. McDonnell
FrontPageMagazine.com | Friday, August 21, 2009

We’ve seen it before. Perhaps the most dramatic examples in recent history of that particular insanity prevalent in Islamism were the Danish cartoon “protests.” Global riots, mayhem, and murder – because of some splotches of ink on paper.

Currently, false blasphemy accusations led to open season on Christians in Pakistan’s Punjab Province. Korian, home to about 100 families, was destroyed on the night of July 30 because Islamists accused a Christian family of desecrating the Koran. Two days later, the same unfounded rumor resulted in three Christian women and a child being burned alive in the northeastern Punjab town of Gojra. At least ten others were also killed as Islamists set fire to houses and shops. Then on August 5 in Sheikhupura, a Christian factory owner and two others were killed by an enraged mob when workers accused their employer of desecrating the Koran.

Pakistan’s blasphemy laws provide justification for atrocities such as these against the tiny Christian population, as well as against fellow Muslims

From the website: The Orate Frates . . .

The inverted Cross atop Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis dangled from the steeple on Wednesday following a rare downtown twister as the ELCA Churchwide Assembly was in legislative session across the street at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Things that make you go, hmmm…

Countless spiritual souls over the ages have commented on seeing God in all things. So, how about manifestations of physical evils found within nature, or, as the American justice system calls them: Acts of God… Perhaps a lesson from the fig tree — re-reading Mark 13: 5-6, 28-29 — occured Wednesday on 3rd Street in downtown Minneapolis, MN.

First, this from the Catholic News Agency yesterday:

Minneapolis, Minn., Aug 18, 2009 / 11:38 pm (CNA).- The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is considering a proposal that would allow members in homosexual relationships to serve as clergy. It has denied a motion to require a higher proportion of votes for the proposal to pass.

On Monday delegates gathered at the Minneapolis Convention Center rejected a proposal to require approval from a two-thirds supermajority instead of a simple majority when the measure comes to a final vote, expected on Friday.

ELCA Presiding Bishop Mark Hanson cautioned earlier in the day that the outcome of the majority versus supermajority vote shouldn’t be seen as strongly indicating how the debate will be decided.

Supporters of the high threshold for passage said it was necessary to signal wide support for a major change in the church’s approach to homosexuality. About 43 percent of the 1,045 voting delegates supported the higher standard, the Associated Press says.

Other topics of consideration include a broader statement on sexuality, a 34-page document that reportedly would establish a theological framework for differing views of homosexuality. Critics say it would liberalize the ELCA.

The ELCA claims about 4.7 million members and 10,000 congregations in the United States.

Coincidence, or, co-incidents?

Consideration of the proposed Social Statement on Human Sexuality document was scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 19, at 2:00 p.m.

According to the website of the Central Lutheran Church located across the street from the conference center, where the assembly was in session, the tornado passed through downtown Minneapolis near CLC at, you guessed it, approximately 2:00 p.m…

Health experts warn not to take Tamiflu

The London Evening Standard
Anna Davis (August 21, 2009)

The Government is refusing to change its swine flu policy after experts said healthy people should not be given Tamiflu.

The World Health Organization advice directly contradicts British policy on the issue.

The WHO said most patients were experiencing typical flu symptoms and would get better within a week, and Tamiflu should not be given to healthy people.

A spokesman for the Department of Health said: “We believe a safety-first approach of offering antivirals, when required, to everyone remains a sensible and responsible way forward.

“However, we will keep this policy under review as we learn more about the virus and its effects.”

Constance,
It may be that I see the political end of the New Age movement as a very active branch of New Age.
There are major political New Age operations that scare me no end. They are powerful, secretive, organized and influential.

New Thought may network with the political side, but their efforts at this point are weak where the political side is concerned. They may be a conduit where political ideas are concerned, but they seem to have no power. I checked on the speakers at their conference, and they are not impressive.

You give quite an impressive list of their involvements. What I see is that they are still very involved in the "spiritual" "one world religion" end of the New Age movement, but even that may be more as a letterhead. How many people are actually involved in New Thought is very unclear. They might have been a power at one time, but I don't see it now.

As I see it, they are nowhere near how IAF and Gamaliel are involved with religious organizations. They have nowhere near the influence leftist Christians (and Catholics as part of Christians) and Jews have. If they did have any power, they would have more impressive speakers at their annual meeting.

I'm not challenging your general information. Recently on Twitter I called attention to your information. Today at a Recess Rally I told several other people to access your information. Over the last almost thirty years I've made a very strong effort to call your research to the attention of others.

I will retain the right to disagree with you at times however. At this point I see New Thought as a weak letterhead operation that is useful to the New Age movement merely as another line on the letterhead of various major New Age operations that should carefully be watched.

Time to remind readers of the Council for National Policy, the secretive conservative policy think tank. Though I didn't learn of it from her material, she has been right on target saying the New Age movement works through both the right and the left and probably wrote about the CNP.

Someone questioned why my comments are so short. It is because I want others to do their own research. Just put the CNP name into a Google search and follow what has been written on at least six websites, both from the right and left.

The excuse makers will find many reasons to not take the time to do the work. They want everything fed to them on spoons. Then they will make excuses not to do anything to fight the movement. I've often jokingly said the world will fall because someone needed to wax their floors. So, why bother with these excuse makers.

Those with gumption will take on the challenge to look further on their own. By doing their own research they will not buy into what others are telling them and will realize they are adults with work to do.

MICROCHIP IMPLANTS!

Company developing under-the-skin devices to detect 'bio-threats'

VeriChip's microchip implant, about the size of a grain of rice

A Florida-based company that boasts selling the world's first and only federally approved radio microchip for implanting in humans is now turning its development branch toward "emergency preparedness," hoping to produce an implant that can automatically detect in its host's bloodstream the presence of swine flu or other viruses deemed a "bio-threat."

VeriChip Corporation currently sells a small, under-the-skin Radio Frequency Identification capsule, or RFID, that patients can opt to have implanted, containing a number computer-linked to their medical records, enabling doctors with a special reader to access the information even if the patient is unconscious or unidentified. The company boasts its microchip, roughly the size of a grain of rice, is the only such implant approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

But VeriChip has also turned its attention to other uses for the technology, including microchips that be used to tag and log human remains after a disaster and implants the company hopes will be able to warn if their host is infected with the H1N1 swine flu virus, the H5N1 bird flu virus or other pandemic agents deemed to be a "bio-threat."

VeriChip is working with a Minnesota company, Receptors LLC, to develop the virus-detection technology.

"As we continue to build on our partnership with Receptors, which started with the development of a glucose-sensing RFID implantable microchip, we are moving beyond patient identification to sensors that can detect and identify illnesses and viruses such as influenza," said Scott R. Silverman, chairman of VeriChip, in a statement. "This is an exciting next step for the future of our healthcare division."

I wonder if this is reverse psychology to make Israel supportive of Javier Solana's CFSP and the Lisbon Treaty?

Read this:

"Vote No To Lisbon raft launched
This Morning, Saturday the 8th August at 7am, Irish Friends of Palestine Against Lisbon (IFPAL) launched the Vote No To Lisbon raft on the River Liffey In Dublin City Centre.
Irish Friends of Palestine Against Lisbon are calling for Irish voters to oppose the Lisbon Treaty in the forthcoming re-run of the Lisbon Treaty Referendum, a referendum that is exactly the same as the one they have rejected already. VOTE NO to Lisbon on OCTOBER 2nd.
EU foreign policy has damaged the human and political rights of the Palestinian people by giving Israel financial and political support regardless of its gross human rights violations in breach of numerous statutes of international humanitarian law and the EU-Israel Trade Agreement

EU foreign policy has emboldened Israel which continues its policies of murder, ethnic cleansing, illegal detention, home demolition, land and water theft, construction of the illegal apartheid wall, torture, genocide and apartheid without fear of sanction from the EU.

It would pivot Ireland from its present status as an independent sovereign country to that of a minor subordinate in a newly constituted European superstate

It would allow the EU Council to change the manner in which EU Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) is decided from unanimity to qualified majority vote thus removing Ireland’s veto.

Ireland would be obliged to uphold the CFSP even if we disagree with the policy

Ireland would lose its sovereign right to espouse an independent foreign policy, even in the United Nations where a new EU foreign minister, as proposed by the Lisbon Treaty, would represent all EU member states

EU foreign policy is decided behind closed doors away form public scrutiny and is manipulated by a well funded Zionist lobby embedded in the political architecture of the larger states that dominate and control EU foreign policy.

Community Service to the World Masters of Deception

This is outrageous of course, but not at all surprising. Recognizing someone as a "master" of anything in this context is overtly communicating the message to all knowledgeable people that this is a "World Server" of "The Plan", and in that capacity as a "communicator", a bearer of messages from "God" as well. The story in which the message is told is only window dressing for shoppers and a distraction to mislead the consumer of such news.

So, the statement attributed to Obama, "We are God's partners in matters of life and death...", should be of special interest to everyone. The clear message is, "We have decided who lives and who dies, and this healthcare system we are proposing will implement that decision."

This man is speaking for "God", but not the one we are expected to believe. As a Master World Server, an equal to Marice Strong and other extremely powerful people, he is speaking for the hierarchy repeating the messages of Lucifer, the "bringer of light".

It's a fatal mistake to turn this into political leverage against the left. Obama is the foremost "water-carrier", "Third Way", "middle of the road", New Age Communitarian in the world today. All political persuasions are locked in a dialectical debate which will finally inflict death to all True Believer's. Politics like religion is one of the Quintessential world wide self destructive Mass Movements.

Read it in the Washington Jewish Week.

President Barack Obama needs some outside help pushing health care reform, and he’s turning to rabbis to get it.

In a morning conference call with about 1000 rabbis from across the nation, Obama asked for aid: “I am going to need your help in accomplishing necessary reform,” the President told the group, according to Rabbi Jack Moline, who tweeted his way through the phoner.

“We are God’s partners in matters of life and death,” Obama went on to say, according to Moline’s real-time stream.

The 15-minute morning briefing was sponsored by the Religion Action Center of Reform Judaism, and included rabbis of all persuasions. Although the RAC hosts the call each year, participants had never before heard from a sitting president.

What stood out about the call is that Obama “is a master communicator,” Moline, the rabbi of the Conservative Agudas Achim Congregation in Alexandria, said in an interview after the call ended.

“This was clearly a message that was tailored to us,” and not merely a generic stump speech, he added.

Moline noted that in the lead up to the president’s address, as the rabbis waited on hold, “there was a lot of chatter” among some participants who felt that the call should be seen as an opportunity “to instruct the President about [Presidential Medal of Freedom selection] Mary Robinson” and about the peace process in the Middle East.

“It was the subject of a good deal of conversation whether anyone was going to challenge him on that,” in particular Rabbi Eric Yoffie, the president of the Union of Reform Judaism, whose has publicly chided Obama for his administration’s stance on settlements.

When the issues failed to come up during the health care call, Moline pithily tweeted: “Yoffie praises President and does not raise any other issue. Good for him.”

“Rabbi Yoffie stuck to the subject” of health care reform, Moline said in the interview, “I think it was a good thing.”

Eyebrows were also raised by the choice of hold music that played to rabbis before the call began.

“First mistake,” Moline tweeted, as he waited for the call to begin. “Music on hold is ‘Deutschland uber Alles,’ ” a classical German anthem, the lyrics to which in part say, “Preserve and protect our Kaiser, our land.”

(The music was chosen by the company carrying the conference call, not the White House or the RAC.)

A questioned submitted by Moline also was asked to the President, the rabbi proudly noted on Twitter, writing, “WOW! My question was asked of the President!!!!!”

The question, he later explained, was about how rabbis can address issue of health care reform “in a non partisan” way when they’re behind the pulpit.

Obama responded by noting that the massive “human toll” of a broken health care system is a non partisan issue, and simply is unacceptable, Moline recalled.

The call, which was closed to the media, precedes another Obama phoner that is to take place at 5 p.m. this evening (Wednesday).

Monday morning:

I'm waiting in the Lawyer's Lounge of the Genesee County Circuit Court -- here early for a 1:30 hearing to insure that all paperwork is in order and scope out the courtroom of a Judge new to me. I was off line as regards the blogspot most of yesterday. Had two interesting phone calls from old supporters, both of whom independently heard Coast to Coast interview Jeff Sharlet. Reading deeper into Sharlet's book is much disturbing information about immediate Post-WWII relationships between "Abram" (Abraham Vereide) and known Nazis, some of whom were still USA war prisoners. Also in that chapter was a claimed near death experience by Abram in which he professed a gnostic belief that matter was inconsequential and what mattered were disembodied spirits. Most interesting, DISTURBING, and explanatory of why I caught so much of the opposition from the Evangelical sources I did.

Powerful commentary on your part. It reminds me of the lines from Barbara Marx Hubbard's book Revelation where whatever she is channeling tells her that her will and God's will are one; whatever she destroys she will destroy in God's name.

God already gave directions when he said he puts before us life and death and we should choose life.

I hope others will read the comments after the story itself. Readers should know that not all Jews think alike anymore than all white people think alike because almost all reporters are white.

WOW, Dorothy, if this is what they are doing to our loyal veterans, WHAT DO THEY HAVE IN MIND FOR THE REST OF US perceived 'USELESS EATERS'??!!

Call-in Number: (347) 237-4040

Hosts Babe Huggett & Warner Todd Huston dig deep & analyze the news with their usual insightful and historical approach all the while being as politically irreverent as possible! Tonight the amazing author of THE HIDDEN DANGERS OF THE RAINBOW: The New Age Movement and our Coming Age of Barbarism (1983) and A PLANNED DECEPTION: The Staging of a New Age Messiah (1986), Constance Cumbey, is going to rip the seemingly benign facade off New Age politics to expose its Luciferian roots and lust for soul-destroying control over humanity.

If someone can figure out how to listen live, please post it.

Dorothy, Constance and All,

This post is for the purpose of adding corroborating material to what Dorothy posted earlier.

Since my own husband is a Veteran, I am particularly outraged over this one!

I can vouch for the existence of what has been dubbed the "Death Book" that swinish VA bureaucrats are trying to especially foist on our disabled and elderly U.S. Veterans who have already made so many sacrifices for this country.

The VA "Death Book" has been all over the news - especially on Rush Limbaugh Friday and today.

Chris Wallace called Ms. Duckworth on the "now you see it now you don't game" that the VA tried to pull AND FAILED. She was trying to tell Mr. Wallace that he didn.t see what he actually saw. It was like "who are you going to believe....me or those lying eyes of yours???"
Apparently Ms. Duckworth is herself a disabled veteran and Obama supporter whose disabilities are being exploited to peddle the "Death Book."

Either that, or he is concerned about getting his butt handed to him in the 2010 elections.

Why does that VA "death book" remind me of arithmetic problems posed to German school children under the Nazi regime on what it cost mathematically to maintain "a useless eater."

hmmm. Well I would not have ever found my self on this site except I met David Lakota the other day, and I had seen the parody on Jam Channon's 1st Earth Battalion "Me Who Stare At Goat's" So I have just been reading up on all of this out of scholarly curiosity. I cannot speak to the defense of Jim Channon or 1st Earth Battalion nor do I want to since I do not know fiber of its make up. I typically am not one to join any sort of movement in the first place. Organized religions and collective's that try to guide you by doctrine and brand recognition to my are usually something to be wary of, and tend to be quite "propagandic" I typically respect those who has questions, not give answers and directions. Those who foster a culture that promotes individual power, an unbinding collective, of minds that are not afraid to speak out against each other or stop and turn the other way when a shared vision has become clouded. To me most of what I have read in your book the dangers of the rainbow (or whatever silly name you gave it) to me suggests you are trying to help promote a culture of fear mongering and prejudice.

Your credibility is immediately lost by any talk of the antichrist and in my first impressions of David Lakota I have found his friendly demeanor honest. He has a thirst and passion for life and the things he believes in and the good of human interaction that is evident in his eyes and his demeanor. His good will is genuine. I have not yet researched at length, or asked him about his stances on the environment, politics, social responsibility or the meaning of life and I'm sure I would not agree with him on much, though some I would.

To wrap this up, the point of my comment is to indicate that you come off as someone who would prosecute those who do not share your view of the world, and now to take my little comment and argument down to a less articulated and more combative level for the sake of the internet: I ask you to reflect on your intentions, to step back and think about who your blog serves, and if you still feel so strongly about these stances I would suggest you try communicating them in a way that is not so oppresive, intolerant, dictatorial, and aggresive. Otherwise you can suck it! :)
