My perspective -- What Constance thinks

There are some detracting errors in the "Sorry You Missed the Rapture" Youtube and Godtube video presentations. As the message is imporant, the facts need to be "spot-on" to maintain credibility. These are the errors:

1. Section 666 creating Solana's CFSP and Secretary General of the Council of the European Union (Council of Ministers) was a EUROPEAN UNION "Europa" document -- not a Western European Union one.

2. Recommendation 666 was drafted by Solana (or his staff at his direction) but it did not become law for Europe itself until the Nice, France Council of December 2000.

The message is important and the 7 year Treaty which could well be the prophesied one is well in place since January 1, 2007 and is up for midterm review in mid 2010. The message should not be easily disregarded.

While we in the USA are occupied with 24/7 news of our soon coming Presidential elections, the rest of the world is not standing still. Very GRAVE news out of the Middle East today. Syria is protesting alleged USA bombing within its territory. Javier Solana spent extensive time within the past week with Syria's president -- it will not harm his global leadership aspirations, in my opinion.

I received a lovely and encouraging telephone call from Pastor Jeff Whittaker a few minutes ago. I have been in court today and was still praying about my program today when he called. I had a very well received radio program with him several weeks ago about "The Emergent Church" and made him promise he would come back then. Since he called today, I drafted him for today's show, which will be the last Friday program for awhile. Joe McNeil has graciously granted my request for a later program which will catch the evening winter crowds -- at 5 p.m. Pacific time and 8 p.m. Eastern time TUESDAY AND FRIDAY. The new schedule will start next Tuesday.

The Collider Project as a new "Tower of Babel": Is Our Government Gambling With Our Lives?

The most immediate danger to our environment and the greatest threat to our national security might possibly be something that is receiving little attention and something most people know nothing about. At the present time our government is using our tax dollars to help fund an international scientific project which might threaten our safety and the safety of people across the world.

The project does not involve our national defense. It seems to involve nothing more than the satisfaction of scientific curiosity and perhaps the exhilaration of playing God.

The project involves an attempt to replicate the "Big Bang," which according to some scientific theories was the way our entire universe came to be. William Akbar of the Citizens Against Corrupted Politicians and I did research into this matter and discovered this is supposed to be accomplished by a $9 billion international project to build a special machine called the Long Hadron Collider (LLC). The Reuters news service was quoted on the internet as saying this miniature duplication of the Big Bang can "unlock secrets about the universe and its origins" and it might, if we live long enough afterwards.

However, according to some scientists, such a process may create black holes that could conceivably swallow up the whole earth. One of the main scientists involved in the project was quoted as saying, "We have been shown to meet all safety standards."

Without questioning the personal honesty and good intentions of anyone in this projects, one has to wonder if there may be some psychological denial there or at least an all too human hubris in brilliant people that makes them unable to admit the limits of their knowledge.

Since the Big Bang, if it ever occurred, took place long before this planet or anyone on it ever existed, it is hard to see what human standards can be developed to assure we are safe when it is being reduplicated.

One internet writer, Lila M, noted even if this were true about the immediate effects (which seem to me far from a certainty) “The answer does not signify a solid answer as to whether we are going to be safe or not from what might happen months or years after this collider button is pressed.”

Medicines often have side effects that don’t show up for years. It has been written that scientists involved in creating the atomic bomb did not understand the lingering effects of radioactive fallout. William Akbar declared, “We know of many government experiments, which were callous about people’s safety. Nobody knew about them till years later. How many experiments have been conducted which were never disclosed? In what ways have people been affected by them? If the government conducts the Big Bang experiment (and if we survive it) will the general public know about the side effects or will we have to wait 20 years to find out?”

It seems safe to say that those conducting the experiment are dealing with forced they know nothing about.. This experiment is equivalent to a group of babies satisfying their curiosity by planning with matches. Indeed it is equivalent to a group of babies playing with hydrogen bombs. This experiment is a gamble with our lives and the lives of everyone on this planet.

Even if there were a remote chance of having the earth swallowed up by a black hole, I for one, would find the risks too great. I must add that as an occasional lottery player, I never once gambled with other people’s tax money and certainly never gambled with other people’s lives. This experiment is nothing less than reckless endangerment.

The only winnings in this gamble with the the collider seem to be satisfaction of curiosity. Without personally criticizing the character of the scientists involved, one might suggest that they ask themselves whether they are unconsciously influenced bya desire for personal glory and the enhancement of their egos.

The Bible said that “Pride goeth before destruction,” and this might be the destruction of us all. Cannot the nations of the world find something better to spend nine billion dollars on?

In looking at this project, one is reminded of the Biblical story of the Tower of Babel. According to Genesis, the descendants of Noah tried to build a tower all the way up to Heaven, but God quashed their project, saying, “This is the beginning of what they will do. Hereafter they will not be restrained from anything they are determined to do.” Did this indicate a recognition that His children might get into areas that were too much for them to handle?

Jewish scholars commenting on the Bible suggested the problem was not building the tower, but the spirit in which it was built, and discussed this in very modern terms that we can recognize in our technological society.

“When a brick slipped [from the construction site slowing down production], people wept,” a commentary noted, “but when a man fell and died no one paid attention.” One does not have to be religious to see the danger in this spirit. A secular psychologist named Alice Miller described how parents become obsessed with driving children to achievement so they will reflect well on them. She might have written about the pressures of our materialistic and hostile modern culture, where people in general are not cherished for their own sake, but for what they accomplish or possesess and arelabeled either as a “success” or a “loser.”

With such pressures, Dr. Miller noted that many talented and successful people grow up feeling with some emptiness, that “Without these superior qualities, a person is completely worthless and can never be loved.”

Perhaps those involved in the experiment may want to consider whether this might have made them insensitive about the risks to human lives, including their own.

Ironically, if the collider gamble goes badly, all human achievements may disappear in one fell swoop: all scientific accomplishments, all ideas, all love and friendships and even moments of warmth, all poetry and plays and literature. Those who do not believe in something beyond our material sphere, will have to concede that there will be nothing left of all we did and all we thought, which can well be a greater reason for despair and an even greater motivation to end this dangerous gamble.

It does seem time for us to get the public officials who are supposed to represent us to call the bet off.. In this urgent situation, I urge people to write or call or e-mail some or all of these officials and tell them to stop all U.S. government funding for the project and to use the power of the U.S. government to stop other countries from doing it.

As an old song on gambling noted, “You’ve got to know when to hold up –Know when to fold up, -- Know when to walk away, -- Know when to run.” My view is it’s time to run from this project. Fast!

I'm sitting in Border's Books with my notebook computer and looking at a very terrible book called TERRIBLE LOVE OF WAR by James Hillman. Hillman is one of the Jungian psychologists who have recommended in the past the acting out of religious archetypes a la THE ARMAGEDDON SCRIPT of Peter LeMesurier for the purpose of convincing everybody that it's all overand now we can get on with "The New Age" and their New Age "messiah." On sale is the trade paperback edition. I am somewhat encouraged because it is on the remainder shelf at Border's, meaning it must not have done that well. HOWEVER, Hillman is influential among the psychological and New Age communities and so needs to be watched. This book was worse than most.

Chapter 4, "Religion is War" contains his thesis that Christian religion is deadly and the only way to wean folks from it is to force worship of other deities is one of the most audacious statements I have yet to read which is fostering the culture clearly prophesied in Daniel and Revelation. Of course, beliefs in these very events LeMesurier and Hillman are clearly working -- consciously or otherwise -- to fulfill -- is itself defined as mental illness.

If you can find it on a remainder table, as I did for $3.99, pick it up and read it. I hate for him to get full royalties for this abominable act of incitement!

Update: John W. Spring called me urging me to contact Eric Buehler, Jerome Corsi's scheduler. I had a frantic day taking care of other business and emergencies for clients. Half an hour before I was scheduled to go on, I returned John Spring's call and asked if he would see if Dr. Corsi was available. If so, I would put him on. John called back and said he had spoken to Jerome Corsi personally and he could come on the first half hour. Thereafter, I hastily posted the banner. Usually Joe McNeill calls me and the guest and lets me know that all are connected and we are ready to go. One of Joe's wonderful children called and I gave them the guest's number. John W. Spring was frantically trying to reach me on the other line as I thought I was introducing my guest. When I heard nothing in response to the introduction, I suspected John W. Spring was trying to reach me for an emergency. I asked Joe via chatroom window to play some music and let me reach John Spring. John gave me the information that Eric had previously scheduled another interview for the same time frame, which Dr. Corsi had evidently forgotten until reminded. This frequently happened to me when I was scheduled by others in the past, so I understand! Dr. Corsi, I understand will be available for one of my programs next week. Sorry for the confusion.

European Leaders Seek `One Voice' to Counter Crisis (Update2)

The financial picture is much murkier and dangerous than mere bad mortgages, bad as they were. High stakes "swaps" and derivatives were popular gambling forms in trillion dollar unregulated "gold rush." I learned of this ungodly market years ago -- in fact, that's what forced me to learn Excel -- to keep up with a disbarred attorney who applied for work for me under federal parole supervision. Tim Mucciante was a high flying attorney who had impeccable table manners, handled himself with elegance and defrauded sophisticated New Yorkers out of millions. While he was still in prison, at the referral of Jewel VanderMerwe, I handled a small legal matter for him. Later he made telephone contact with my office manager and sold himself for employment to her as a penitent with legal skills. She told me he was willing to work for $14 per hour and begged me to hire him to keep up with my then very large caseload. I was startled to find evidence that he was structuring deals with debt swaps with clients I was counseling for possible bankruptcy relief. He left my office, going to the office of another attorney he convinced he could enrich. I was convinced then that this was a scheme that could bankrupt companies and even nations. It appears I was right.

The last I read of Mr. Mucciante, he was in prison in Utah for another defrauding crime connected with swaps.

I became familiar with the literature and theories of the swap industry and was dismayed but not surprised to learn this was the real factor behind the collapse. Naturally, that unregulated industry comprised of some of the greediest folk on the face of this earth would like to see all the blame go to the bad mortgages where clearly SOME of the blame goes, but it is a much bigger issue.

I will have much more to say about this later, but the 60 minute series which is linked under the headline above will give you an excellent introduction. It was speculation in derivatives that brought much of England's economy to its knees years ago. George Soros has made much of his fortune in the swaps and derivatives market, although I understand he has testified recently to Congress that this is what may have caused the collapse.

I am still writing away on Part VI of what is clearly going to be a 12 part series on "The Hi-Jacking of Evangelicalism.  I am finding many more ugly layers than even I originally feared.  ("Hi-Jacking" was originally to have been a 4 part series.)  In the meantime, I was challenged by Theosophists evidently lurking on my forum about the source of my assertion that Madame Blavatsky revealed before her death that the real purpose of the society was to prepare the world for 'a new Christ."  I read it several places and believed it was Sylvia Cranston's book.  In the meantime, while working on the Hi-Jacking article, I had occasion to reference some books about Krishnamurti, the one the Theosophists hoped to introduce as "Maitreya" in 1929.  One of Krishnamurti's biographers was Pupul Jayakar, who wrote in his Krishnamurti:  A Biography (Harper & Row, Paperback Edition:  1986).  I quote:

According to an article appearing in today's NEW YORK TIMES, Russian gatekeepers have allowed approximately 200 EU "peacekeepers" ("civilian observers") into Georgia. This is the latest in many deployments of military forces under Javier Solana's WEU/EU watch. As I have reported in past articles, Canada and Argentina have contributed manpower to the EU forces.
