While we are occupied with elections, ominous signs elsewhere

Herb Peters (1947-2007), founder of Fulfilledprophecy.com kept a close prophetic eye on the unfulfilled prophecy "Damascus shall be a heap." There are ominous signs out there of growing tensions between Syria and the USA. The USA bombed Syrian villages this past weekend and predictably Syrians are very angry about it. The news today is that Syria closed two USA institutions yesterday. At the left is a clip that you may read full page by clicking on the pictured news story about the mounting Syrian anger. Somebody is figuratively (if not literally) playing with matches somewhere and let's pray that the fireburns are kept to a bare minimum! Javier Solana was in Syria last week meeting with its president, and I rather suspect Europe is smelling like roses and the USA somewhat akin to a skunk in Syria this week, given the loss of life and property in the bombed villages. The villages bombed, I understand, were close to the Iraqi border and it is my present understanding that suspected Al Quaeda activists were the targets.

Stay close to God as your only refuge and stay tuned!

I don't think so. Besides, the radical Marxist/Socialist/Cmmunist liberals are beating him to it vis a vis polarization, class warfare confiscatory tax increases (a.k.a."looting") "revolution" etc., with a view to dragging this great country down to the same dead level of mediocrity/misery as other third world countries - many of which are STILL third world countries thanks to critters such as these anti-American, irreligious evildoers!

Regarding Constance's statement: "The villages bombed, I understand, were close to the Iraqi border and it is my present understanding that suspected Al Quaeda activists were the targets."

Constance, I watched BBC's coverage of this yesterday evening. Ordinary citizens who were interviewed claimed that civilians were the actual targets and that they had absolutely nothig to do with Al Quaeda.

But then, it wouldn't be the first time that "our side" has attacked civilians. If this is true, may God have mercy on us.

Anonymous said...

Hey. Cry me a river.

While isolated incidents of attacking civilians is always a possibility in any war, such twaddle about our troops "attacking civilians" appears to be part and parcel of the foul defeatist propaganda campaign being promoted by the "friends of Saddam."

As for the BBC, the BBC itself has acknowledged network-wide liberal bias.

Let's not forget that the Baathist (Arab Socialist)allies of the late Saddam Hussein (Syria included) have no scruples about using civilians as "shields," or about housing weapons caches in the midst of civilian populations - including the mosques.

And while we are on the subject of "attacking civilians," what about the 3,000 + innocent American civilians who were murdered right here on U.S. soil during the 9/11 attack by AlQaeda operatives?

The deaths of those civilians can hardly be called "collateral damage."

Pakistan earthquake.

http://tinyurl.com/5bouwn

I saw this and found it odd. This a report from the Guardian about the quake that hit Pakistan. One witness reports
"When I came out I saw very strange things. It was like there was lightning all around the city. There was no electricity, but still there was light in the sky. The trees were jolting and shaking, it was just like a thunderstorm."
Now, the jolting and shaking can be explained by the quake itself, but what does everyone make of the ominous light source? I have seen several reports on quakes and this is the first time I remember reading about odd electrical storms or disturbances occuring simultaneously.

My thoughts on that subject were....is the US effort to take eyes off the domestic economy and put them back on international problems or perhaps create some new ones...since this always better for the Republican ticket, especially a experienced vet like McCain? It could backfire, as people are sick of the cowboy tactics and think we ought to be a little more respectful of sovereign countries. The war on terror becomes and excuse for hitting any country we want..

Excuse the cynicism, but I've been wondering if we'll have some last minute crisis that will turn the polls around..

Unfortunately for us, it seems probable this time that Solana had little to do with it -- at least we could have, in my opinion, given fair warning to Syria that we were crossing their borders to pursue alleged Al Quaedists, so that air raid sirens could have prevented some loss of innocent lives. I am grieved by the whole situation -- looks well like it could be a possible triggering of WWIII.

NEW PANTHERS: WAR ON WHITES

I don't recall any one else posting anything about this, but this is an interview with a leader from the Philly chapter of the "New" Black Panthers. In it he talks about black/african american people being the "true chosen people of God" and denounces jews. He also calls Obama a "puppet of the white slave masters". Usually I would discard these types of stories but given the racial turmoil that is being stirred up by this election, and knowing that it is being done for a purpose. I found it interesting that this made the paper as before this election it would not have seen the light of day. It just goes to show that they are trying to stir this into more than just a political clash.

Remember the show "Happy Days"? Do you remember the ridiculous episode when the Fonz jumped over a shark on water skis? Most people think it was this episode that was a turning point for the show. A beginning to the end for the show. There's a web site called "Jump the Shark" named after this episode where the discussions center around past and current T.V. shows and the point when they "jump the shark".

Imagine the Fonz (played by Henry Winkler) in a swimsuit and leather jacket. Now, replace his face with Obama's. Was his infomercial the equivelent to "jumping the shark"? The beginning of the end of the Obama show?

I for one think it is. It was a
$4,000,000 mistake. This was McCain's October surprise. Oh well, he can always go back to being a senator. Obama, what were you thinking?

ROCKS CRYING OUT!

Chalk one up for the good guys! As the world tries ever harder to deny the existence of God and the stories of the bible, more things are coming to the forefront to prove the reality of the stories. In this case archaeologists have found a clay pot with an inscription that dates back to the time of David. While the insription has yet to be completely deciphered, it does include phrases regarding, slaves, kings, and judges. Even though this can not yet be seen as definitive proof, could this be one of many things in a line of evidence pulled literally from the rocks of the Earth that cry out the Lords existence?

From Press TV (October 30, 2008):

Thousands of Syrian people have staged a mass rally in Damascus to protest at a deadly US raid that killed 8 civilians in a Syrian village.

Syria strongly reacted to the US strike, calling it a “terrorist attack” that resulted in the killing of “innocent civilians.”

Demonstrators waved Syrian flags and banners reading “No to American terrorism” and “American democracy: the killing of civilians at Abu Kamal,” the border area targeted in Sunday’s US raid.

“Colonialists, listen, the people of Syria will never be brought to their knees,” chanted the protesters as they gathered in the heart of Damascus.

Security was boosted in the area in Damascus housing the US embassy, which was closed on Thursday due to the demonstration.

On Tuesday, the Syrian Cabinet wrote a scolding letter to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the Security Council, slamming United States’ Sunday attack that killed the eight civilians including four children.

Susanna,
The Noah Today piece is funny and really
rings a bell with me for a lot of reasons.
But why is it that people always have to change the text of the Bible to make their movies and stories?
I'm referring to the first paragraph where God says
something and they insert the term "over populated" into the story. That's such a New Age mindset; that the world is too small and over crowded.
I'm reminded of the old Cecile B Demille movies.
And that recent movie about Noah which had a cast of some really big stars, but which couldn't bring itself to tell the story that the Bible tells. Noah had three very white sons who each had European looking wives. I mean doesn't it make sense that Shem was whitish, Ham was blackish and Japeth was yellowish? and who knows where their wives came from. They did begin the re-population of the entire earth, after all.
Leave it to Hollywood to completely miss the point.

Oh well, thanks for the chuckles anyway Susanna

Barroso presents to our next President, whoever he may be, the call to join the process of forming, in the interests of the common good, a “deeper partnership”. Barroso defines this as, an “Atlantic Agenda for Globalisation.”

This letter is in essence, IMHO, a clear message to “We the People” of what to expect no matter who wins the election. -Rudi

JD and Others,

On a past post I wrote about HAARP, the last days and signs and wonders. How do you think the anti-christ is going to do miracles and signs and wonders?

Tesla built a machine no bigger than an alarm clock that could cause wave vibrations so powerful they actually caused small earthquakes and were immediately made to stop by "de-activating" the machine. It is well known that sky seeding for rain/snow, etc. has been done, why not cause earthquakes? They're signs and wonders, especially when they can be turned on and off- "Hey look what I will do!" signs and wonders. You can also look into Project Blue Beam, whih is scary all by itself when you think of all the sheeple that can be fooled. When looking up man made earthquakes you will hear/read it is said an aroura borialis with electro-static "lightning" will seen in the air. Can this be what the Pakistanis saw?

But, here is what I think of when I consider "my country"
Hebrews 11:
13These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

14For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

15And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

That is my country.

Well, any student of Bible prophecy should know that the beast depicted in Revelation 13 is comprised of the animal parts that equate to the following:

The mouth of the Lion is Iraq
The claws of the Bear is Iran
The body of the Leopard is Syria

So, with the "big 3" being in the news almost on a daily basis, it would appear that "nations" are lining up according to God's word.

The beast depicted in Rev. 17 gives us clues to the identity of the antichrist. Rev. 17:8 says the beast will come up from the abyss, indicating that the antichrist will be someone who lived in the past and comes back from the dead to be the antichrist (thus the head wound that appears to be dead but he lives, Rev. 13 and 17).

I know this site is pretty sure that they have already identified who the anitchrist is going to be, but Rev. 17:8 indicates he comes up from the abyss...

Something to ponder to say the least...

My 2 cents:

I don't know what HAARP is, and I don't want to know.

I did find out yesterday that the gov't intends to spend 4 to 500 million dollars on building out cell sites in Florida through a contract with Grumman Air. They are looking for people with TS security clearance and I heard about it through a friend of my husbands who works in the telecom industry who has the security clearance and is interested in the job.

He stated that the sites are for the Federal government's usage only and will NOT be public.

I think this is weird. I hope it's not a Florida everglades version of HAARP.

I asked my hubby what he thinks about it, and for once he's clueless.

BIDEN TALKS
A friend sent this to me. It was on a PUMA website. Maybe if Biden gets into office we will always know what is happening behind the scenes. He can't help it.

Might this be why they are Hidin’ Biden?

From an interview with WSLS in Roanoke, VA on Oct. 27, 2008.

BIDEN: “First of all, we’re no where near there. We have 8 days to go. This is the most important election in the public’s life. They are looking at these races very closely. I think this is going to be much closer than everyone thinks it is. Second, with regard to the Democratic Party, this is a new Democratic Party not the party of the 70s and 80s. This is a party that has adjusted to the realities of a new world order.”

Notice those last three words. But here’s the thing. In the live version, that’s what Biden said. In the transcript, that’s what Biden said. But on the posted VIDEO of the interview, those words have clearly been changed to say “new situation.”

Why would a station retape a word over the words the VP candidate said if not to cover up a MAJOR “gaffe”?

Go see the video (the reference is about half way through) and the transcript for yourself especially if you believe words have meaning and THESE particular words mean something you really want no part of. Video doesn't seem to work, but look at the transcript.

VICTORY COLUMN
Rudi and Joyce, add this to your information on the Victory Column.

From Wikipedia
"Sieg Heil is a German phrase, which literally means "Victory Hail" or "Hail Victory". During the Nazi era, it was a common call at political rallies. When meeting someone, it was customary in Nazi Germany to give the Hitler salute and say the words "Heil Hitler". "Sieg Heil" was reserved for mass meetings such as the ones at Nuremberg where "Sieg Heil" was shouted in unison by thousands. Often a Nazi official would shout into a microphone "Sieg" and the crowd would answer with "Heil," and there might be several repetitions of this at times in ever-increasing volume. At such rallies there was often a display of banners carrying the slogan "Sieg Heil" along with the swastika. The NSDAP (Nazi Party) made a pin badge in 1933 displaying a victory wreath, the Swastika, and the words "Sieg Heil".

"The expression itself is older than Nazism as it is a salute to Lady Victory, or Victoria, atop the Siegessäule, or Victory Column."

Referred to in this video.

Rudi,

I find it amazing that while most politicians are running around with the decapitated chicken syndrome, Solana seems to clearly be focused. While most seem to have tunnel vision and all they can see is the economic crisis, he manages to adress every single issue, that every single country is facing. Lets run down in basics a few of the things stated here.
1. The US needs to get used to not being the dominant player, but at the same time needs to be arm and arm with Europe in its mission. (or should I say Javier's mission)
2. The middle east, Iran, and Georgia are all issues which still need more attention. Which I assume he is more than willing to stick his nose into, considering all that has been stated recently about the EU wanting a larger role in the Israel-Palestine peace process. Especially concerning is they want it intertwined with the Barcelona Process, or the Med. Union which ever you want to call it now.
3. He wants to engage China, India, and other emerging powers for their input.
4. It looks like Russia is going to get off with a slap on the wrist for the skirmish in Georgia.
5. He also mentions Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria, and yet still manages to plug the Libson Treaty.

Now I know this post has gotten long but I stated these things to illustrate a point.(if you don't already see it) In a time of complete and utter chaos, when most politicians can't seem to handle the problems of their own respective country, one man seems to be keeping it all in perspective. One man seems to be looking for solutions to bring order out of this chaos. Most of us aren't surprised it's Javier Solana, but these are the types of things that are being shown to the world. This is just what I happened to see when I read the document, sorry it got so long winded.

Here is an article about a "secret letter" Bush sent to Assad. The title of the article is "Bush to Assad: Sever Ties with Iran and Take the Golan Heights". This was published a couple of weeks ago - so perhaps Syria's answer to Bush was "no" and maybe this had something to do with the raid? Perhaps it was partially just a simple warning. I've also heard Syria has been rebuilding the nuke site that Israel damaged not long ago (has it been a year?).

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/127994

But then some claim that Damascus secretly gave a "green light" to the raid!??

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20081028/twl-syria-gave-green-light-for-raid-3fd0ae9.html

There's something mysterious about the US's current relationship to Syria, it seems, but I wonder if it will lead to the prophesied destruction of Damascus.

Obama's 100th day

We are hearing much about what will actually happen during Obama's first 100 days in office as President. Many far reaching changes are promised and anticipated.

It occurred to me to take a calendar and count forward 100 days from Obama's 1st day in office as the most powerful man in the world.

I did this because I had a hunch. Based on a reference to a particular day which has always figured highly in occult actions. One which has great significance in world history.

Sure enough, staring Jan 21, 2009, his first day in office, and counting forward by 14 weeks and adding 2 days to the 98 (14 x 7 = 98) brings us to that most magnificent of occult holy days.

May 1.

Will May Day see the beginning of some New World Order centered in the United States Presidency?

We will have to wait and see and maybe pray for a different outcome.

Rudi, Dorothy,
If you read this article the end talks about the Gates of Ishtar and the Temple of Pergamum:

http://www.yhwhstruth.org/Europe_and_the_Tower_of_Babel.htm

http://tinyurl.com/5cemtb

The temple at Pergamon, is where Zeus was thought to be worshipped. Europa is the Phoenician goddess who was raped by Zeus disguised in the form of a bull ( baal worship, stock market symbol, horns the symbol of Islam or moon god worship) . It is thought during the time of the Maccabees Antiochus Ephiphanes who persecuted Jews terribly, is thought to have sacrificed to Zeus in the Temple. I would propose the the god Zeus represents HaSatan himself.

For those who don't know the Hanukah story:

http://virtualreligion.net/iho/antiochus_4.html

Then there is the Olympic torch, Zeus and Hitler:

http://tinyurl.com/64pg73

I know people have already discussed the Olympics on this blog, including the all seeing eye in China, but what about Barcelona and Atlanta...The opening ceremonies of Atlanta ( Atlantis again?) invoked "the gods" I will never forget that.

Yes, symbols are really important..That's why God says, don't do what the other nations do, don't worship their gods, etc....Israel was exiled for worshipping the baals and the asheroths.

In the West, we are somewhat desensitized to the symbols, which is how people are able to be so easily deceived. If we look back to Ancient Israel, the good kings like Josiah, he removed the high places and the mediums, etc. He cleansed the Land.. Today the western nations are filled with both the symbols and practitioners of the worship of these pagan principalities.. God's ordinances were meant for the Land of Israel, but that's because Israel was supposed to be a light to the nations, so the nations who not follow these pagan dieties, but the one, true God of Israel..

Whenever Israel disobeyed, God exiled Israel into the nations. When Israel stands in Jerusalem and says "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord" then and only then, will we see the restoration of the kingdom, so Dorothy's desire to see Jews "get it" about the New Age is nobel, but it needs to go further. They have to cry out to their ..
Yeshua ( which means in Hebrew ..Salvation is of God).

We need to pray for the Jews, and the other tribes who are still in exile. They will need to come together as "one stick" before the "davidic king" comes back:

zek. 37:22 and I will make them aone nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and bone king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations and no longer be divided into two kingdoms.
Ezek. 37:23 “They will ano longer defile themselves with their idols, or with their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. And they will be My people, and I will be their God.
Ezek. 37:24 ¶ “My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have bone shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances and keep My statutes and observe them.
Ezek. 37:25 “They will live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers lived; and they will live on it, they, and their sons and their sons’ sons, forever; and David My servant will be their prince forever.
Ezek. 37:26 “I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will 1place them and cmultiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever.
Ezek. 37:27 “My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.
Ezek. 37:28 “And the nations will know that I am the LORD awho sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forever.”’”

We really need to read and understand these prophecies.. God is restoring Israel. He is putting His Torah on their hearts...( definition of the new/newer covenant) If we blow it on this one, the rest of the story will not make sense.

In the book of Hosea, God explains how He will exile the House of Israel, but one day He will have mercy on them and bring them back and both the House of Judah ( the Jews) and the House of Israel ( who became the fulness of the nations ...see Genesis 48 and Romans 11) Ephraim, who received the double portion and became "the fulness of the nations and led the Northern Rebellion, which ultimately resulted in Assyrian exile...will be reunited with his brother Judah...under Yeshua..

The spouse had to die in order to marry Israel again.. Without the shedding of blood there would be no forgiveness of sin. They violated the marriage contract and committed harlotry with pagan gods, and they're still doing it today, sadly...If they only understood.

When Yeshua died, He made way for the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel to "renew their covenant ( marriage contract) with Him. He would put Torah on their hearts and no longer would they dirty themselves with pagan gods. The Good News of Yeshua is that He died in the place of Israel. They deserved death, but He gave them life...For all who believe in Him, He gives the right to be called the sons of God...

Will we eat from the tree of Life in the middle of the Garden, or the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Yeshua, is the living Torah who died for our Torah violations...Off subject you say? I don't think so!!!

Yeshua, the Lamb of Pessah, the one who made ultimate Atonement so that the High Priest would no longer have to make the sacrifice of bulls and goats....when He died, rose as the First Fruit of the resurrection and He sits at the right hand of God...His name is elevated to the Name above all other names that at the sound of His name, every knee will bend and tongue confess that He is Lord to the praise and glory of His name....All the Zeus and Apollos and Hitlers of this world are under HIS feet!!!! Halleluyah!!

Zech. 10:6 “I will astrengthen the house of Judah,
And I will bsave the house of Joseph,
And I will 1bring them back,
Because I have had compassion on them;
And they will be as though I had not rejected them,
For I am the LORD their God and I will answer them.

zech. 12:10 ¶ “I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.

Syria has allowed an almost free flow of foreign fighters to infiltrate Iraq, whether our soldiers should be there is another issue and I was against the war, but for years the USA has warned Syria that could happen. Iran has been doing the same; the results have been hundreds of US service men killed: I don’t hear too many cries from the MSM over them! Israel has rockets fired into their country on a daily basis killing and wounding woman and children, but where is the international cry? Some here want to give away our country to who ever, I doubt that is what Jesus had in mind when he spoke concerning our enemies, Joshua 5:13-15. Sovereign nations have a right and a duty to protect their citizens and though I pray for all in the Middle East my vote is to do what is necessary to protect our soldiers. Those who manipulate the Word of God toward approving of sin will have to answer for it. Read Romans the first chapter. What is going on here anyway!Syria has defacto annexed Lebanon and which one of you complaining has said a word?

I also doubt that Jesus had in mind that the U.S. was JUSTIFIED in attacking Iraq in 2003 when that country had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11.

And here's Osama bin Laden 7 years later still snug and safe in some cave. How difficult is it for our government "intelligence" to track down a 6 foot 6 inch Arab on dialysis being escorted everywhere by an entourage???

The truth is that the main "WMD" is sitting in the Oval Office!!!

We go after smaller countries and "beat them up" and destroy their infrastructure because we CAN . . . and we want to steal their natural resources.

Why don't we go after the "bigger threats" like China, Russia, Korea?
Because, hey . . . we may be crazy, but we're not STUPD!!!

Sorry, but our country has much to answer for before Almighty God . . . as our arrogance is clearly showing!!!

And that's why rest of the world hates us. We're the ONLY ones who think we're the "good guys."

Given the oppressive regime of Baathist Syrian President/Dictator Bashar al-Assad, it doesn't surprise me that rank and file Syrians would feel themselves compelled to turn out in droves to demonstrate against the U.S. in the wake of the Abu Kamal strike

These civilian casualties were ACCIDENTAL according to the news reports. Tragically, people die in wars. That's how I explain it.

What about the Iraqi civilians who are being killed by the terrorists Syria is passively aiding and abetting by allowing them safe haven in places like Abu Kamal?

Why haven't you explained the reasons that reportedly led up to the strike in the first place?

AL-QAEDA'S ROUTE THROUGH SYRIA PERSISTS
By Robert H. Reid
ASSOCIATED PRESS

2:34 p.m. October 28, 2008

BAGHDAD – For years, he operated along Syria's remote border where donkeys are the only means of travel. He provided young Arabs from as far away as Morocco and the Persian Gulf with passports, guides and weapons as they slipped into Iraq to wage war.
But recently, the Iraqi man known as Abu Ghadiyah began doing even more – launching his own armed forays into his homeland, U.S. and Iraqi officials say.

Finally the United States lashed out, frustrated it says, after years of vainly pressuring Syria to shut down his network supplying the Sunni insurgency.
The Americans carried out a bold daylight raid Sunday in a dusty farming community of mud and concrete houses known as Abu Kamal, just across the border in Syria. The U.S. says Abu Ghadiyah and several bodyguards were killed. Syria says eight civilians died. At least one villager says U.S. forces seized two men and hauled them away.
Whatever Abu Ghadiyah's fate, the attack targeting him has become a seminal moment – casting rare light on the hidden, complex networks that recruit foreign fighters and then deliver them across Syria to the battlefields of Iraq.

Syria has long insisted it monitors the border and does all it can to stop weapons and fighters.

“They know full well that we stand against al-Qaeda,” Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem said Monday in London. “They know full well we are trying to tighten our border with Iraq.”

But the raid and U.S. documents – recently made public – indicate that insurgents operating in the Syrian border region are still providing the materiel that enables suicide attacks, bombings and ambushes to continue inside Iraq.

Even as the insurgency has fallen on rough times – battered and bleeding but not yet defeated – the networks themselves have become more organized, the documents indicate. That raises fears the insurgency could someday arise anew.

The documents also shed light on the murky web of religious extremists, professional smugglers and corrupt Syrian intelligence officials who run the smuggling networks – some of whom view Syria's government in faraway Damascus with contempt.

Until the raid, Abu Ghadiyah, whose real name was Badran Turki al-Mazidih, was mostly unknown outside a tight circle of Western and Iraqi intelligence officers. They tracked his movements, and the al-Qaeda commanders who relied on his services, believing him a senior figure in al-Qaeda in Iraq.

Abu Ghadiyah housed his recruits both in Damascus and the Syrian port of Latakiya before moving them across the Iraqi border, one senior Iraqi security officer said Tuesday. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to media.

Scores of people are involved in the smuggling networks, officials say. But Iraqi police held special disdain for Abu Ghadiyah, a native of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul believed to be in his early 30s.

Last May, Abu Ghadiyah led a dozen gunmen across the border and attacked an Iraqi police station in Qaim, killing 12 policemen, Iraqi police Lt. Col. Falah al-Dulaimi told The Associated Press on Tuesday. Syrian border guards prevented an Iraqi patrol from pursuing the gunmen back into Syria, the police officer said.

Sunday's raid was launched because of intelligence that Abu Ghadiyah was planning another attack inside Iraq, a senior U.S. official told The Associated Press, also speaking anonymously because the information is classified.

Much of the publicly known information about networks such as Abu Ghadiyah's comes from documents seized during a U.S. military raid last year on a suspected al-Qaeda hideout in the Iraqi city of Sinjar.

Those documents include records of about 590 foreign volunteers who entered Iraq from Syria, according to the Combating Terrorism Center at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. The center released a report last July based largely on the documents.

According to the documents, nearly 100 Syrian coordinators are involved in transporting foreign fighters through Syria. Some are professional smugglers apparently hired by al-Qaeda in purely business deals. Others are motivated by al-Qaeda's hardline Islamic ideology.

Abu Ghadiyah's real beliefs are unclear, but a U.S. Treasury document says he was appointed as al-Qaeda in Iraq's logistics chief for Syria by the group's founder, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. That suggests Abu Ghadiyah was indeed a true believer.....read more....

But I also hate that 3000 innocent civilians were deliberately - not accidentally - murdered on 9/11 here on U.S. soil.

I hate that civilian workers in Iraq and elsewhere were beheaded on videotape by Al-Qaeda terrorists and/or their sympathizers and fellow-travelers. (Michael Savage had the videos up on his site for a long time).

P.S.

The war in Iraq really began during the administration of the elder President Bush in the wake of the invasion of Kuwait.

The War in Iraq,(Part II) was continued because of the failure of U.N. mandated sanctions, and intelligence reports of WMD's.

9/11 was simply a part of the bigger picture in terms of the war on terror.

Whether or not the intelligence reports about WMD's were true or false, President bush as well as many members of Congress who voted in favor of the War in Iraq (Part II) believed that said intelligence reports were credible.

My question is that if these reports were faked, then who faked them?

I still have the news magazine from the early 1990's depicting the dead Kurdish men, women and children who were gassed by Saddam Hussein as part of his "ethnic cleansing" campaign.

to 9:02 a.m. Your interpretation is interesting, but makes little prophetic sense in light of the prophesied beast with the golden head and 10 toes of Daniel. Daniel was shown a scenario of all of history with the Golden head representing King Nebuchadnezzar's empire and its successors with the obvious iron portion of the image being the Roman empire and the 10 toes the last days partly clay, partly iron being the 10 toes WHO WOULD NOT CLEAVE TOGETHER but in the days of that kingdom, God would send the stone that would break down the image at the weak point of the toes and install the kingdom that would bring in everlasting righteousness. The 10 toes in my opinion are obviously the European countries some of which enjoyed great empires -- some did not (England, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Holland, and France all had great flings at empire). I suggest all do "googling" on European joint militaristic efforts -- use these search terms:
WEU
EUROMARFOR
EURONAD
ESDI
ESDP
IEPG
OCCAR
STANAVFORCHAN
WEAG
GMES

and many more which you should discover as you look over the growing European aspirations and plans in execution for assuming global power.

Sorry for the ugly picture -- it didn't look that bad from my mini computer.

Setterman,

Thanks..I agree that no one says a word about Sderot. Hizb'allah is completely rearmed, and yes Syria has killed numerous Lebanese and not gotten caught...and Rick Warren says they are tolerant of Christians...hah! There is not one Muslim country in the world that is tolerant of Muslims leaving their faith for Yeshua...and most are not tolerant of anyone who is not Muslims, especially Christians or Jews. Alliance of Civilizations my face!! Who are they all kidding?

For me, what was at issue here on the Syria incident was the timing and the intention so close to elections....This week I believe the US did some things in Pakistan too..and since we know Syria has probably been aiding and abetting the Iraqis for 5 years, why now? Yes, the whole Iraq war has been a bit of a disaster because under Saddam ( even though he was a monster, he was a restraining force against Iran)..The one problem I've always had with both wars ( Iraq and Afghanistan) is that the CIA worked with both Bin Laden and Saddam...Not always a whole lot of wisdom there in our foreign policy...I find it unusual that both these former "CIA operatives" became our mortal enemies.. Either we are really stupid, poor judges of character or the whole thing is a charade...and I do wonder sometimes if it isn't more of the old "out of chaos comes order" at the expense of many innocent Iraqi lives and our poor young men and women...could be wrong on that...I'd like to be...

I know I'm not the only one who has expressed the same doubts and questions...The other possibility is that the bombing of Iraq was a prerequisite to entering into negotiations on the Road Map. The Road Map was rolled out almost instantly after the bombing of Bagdad. If you recall, Bush wanted nothing to do with negotiations on Israel at the beginning of his 1st term, and suddenly changed his tune...Maybe the bombing of Iran will be a prerequisite to final status negotiations?. Israel will never feel safe, if Iran is sitting there with nukes..

No one cares about the people of Sderot, or the soldiers that were mindlessly killed and one who is still kidnapped...when I say no one, I mean the international powers that be, like the UN, EU Russia. We all know that UN is constantly passing resolutions against Israel, but never criticizes Hamas, Fatah, etc...This should not surprise us though, given the times...I believe when the US pulls its support from Israel...under perhaps...an Obama administration, then we will see the Jews turning to God..

As it stands now 70% of the Jews in Israel, roughly, are completely secular and sometimes deeply into New Age.. In any case, we know from the Scriptures, at the end of the age, all the nations will abandon Israel. They will pay dearly for that decision...in the end according to the Scriptures..that is why it is so important that we know what the Scriptures say and attach ourselves to the Olive Tree.. In the beginning of Chap 37 of Ezekiel, God restores the "dry bones" and it is later on that He breathes His Spirit into Israel, after that He reunites the 2 sticks ( Judah & Joseph/Ephraim).

Recently I was I met a rabbinic student in Jerusalem, who told me that in the yeshivas many of them are talking about Yeshua...I met him by chance and he was completely knowledgeable about the Apostolic Scriptures...He did not publicly confess Yeshua, but it was evident what he believed. He also quoted, as if he himself believed, from Zechariah about the time when Yeshua steps down on Mt of Olives, and "they will look upon HIm whom they've pierced and weep like one weeps for an only begotten Son..." These rabbis know they cannot come out publicly yet...I've heard stories from friends who have heard them say, "it's not yet the time.." but they know Yeshua is who He said He was.

God is not done with Israel. All that to say, we live in exciting days.

Blessings,
Joyce

Hi Constance,

THE burden of Damascus. Behold Damascus shall cease to be a city, and shall be as a ruinous heap of stones. Isaias 17:1

Also

17:1. The burden of Damascus. Behold Damascus shall cease to be a city, and shall be as a ruinous heap of stones.

17:2. The cities of Aroer shall be left for flocks, and they shall rest there, and there shall be none to make them afraid.

17:3. And aid shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus: and the remnant of Syria shall be as the glory of the children of Israel: saith the Lord of hosts.

17:4. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall grow lean.

17:5. And it shall be as when one gathereth in the harvest that which remaineth, and his arm shall gather the ears of corn: and it shall be as he that seeketh ears in the vale of Raphaim.

17:6. And the fruit thereof that shall be left upon it, shall be as one cluster of grapes, and as the shaking of the olive tree, two or three berries in the top of a bough, or four or five upon the top of the tree, saith the Lord the God of Israel.

17:7. In that day man shall bow down himself to his Maker, and his eyes shall look to the Holy One of Israel.

17:8. And he shall not look to the altars which his hands made; and he shall not have respect to the things that his fingers wrought, such as groves and temples.

17:9. In that day his strong cities shall be forsaken, as the ploughs, and the corn that were left before the face of the children of Israel, and thou shalt be desolate.

That were left... Viz., by the Chanaanites, when the children of Israel came into their land.

17:10. Because thou hast forgotten God thy saviour, and hast not remembered thy strong helper: therefore shalt thou plant good plants, and shalt sow strange seed.

17:11. In the day of thy planting shall be the wild grape, and in the morning thy seed shall flourish: the harvest is taken away in the day of inheritance, and shall grieve thee much.

17:12. Woe to the multitude of many people, like the multitude of the roaring sea: and the tumult of crowds, like the noise of many waters.

The multitude, etc... This and all that follows to the end of the chapter, relates to the Assyrian army under Sennacherib.

17:13. Nations shall make a noise like the noise of waters overflowing, but he shall rebuke him, and he shall flee far off: and he shall be carried away as the dust of the mountains before the wind, and as a whirlwind before a tempest.

17:14. In the time of the evening, behold there shall be trouble: the morning shall come, and he shall not be: this is the portion of them that have wasted us, and the lot of them that spoiled us.
Isaias 17:1-14

For what it is worth, according to the writings of one of the Church Fathers, (St. Irenaeus), some of the punishments that were inflicted on wicked nations in the past are going to be repeated in the latter days.

The reason I find this rather compelling is because of the proximity of St. Irenaeus to Christ and the Apostles vis a vis bishop (of Smyrna) and martyr St. Polycarp who was a disciple of Christ's beloved Apostle, St. John the Evangelist.

It is believed by some that because of this proximity, the Church Fathers - and especially the Apostolic Fathers - received deep insights into the meaning of the prophecies found in the Sacred Scriptures.

Whatever reason the video may or may not be edited, Roanoke, Va is not in the heart of "redneck" country. Roanoke and its surrounding communities, which Roanoke TV influences, ie. Salem, Radford, Christiansburg, Lynchburg contain several colleges and universities. These include, but are not limited to Virginia Tech, Roanoke College, Randolf Macon, Hollins College, Jefferson College of Health Sciences, Liberty University, and others.

I have found this site extremely helpful in gathering information regarding the NAM and its influence in current events. However, I am disappointed in the level of exchange between participants regarding differences of opinions and some inflammatory language. May our speech edify our hearers and bring glory to the Lord.

We have differences of opinions in eschatology. Some may unwittingly be influenced by NA thinking. But godly, and sincere people can think differently on various topics. Can we communicate in love which identifies us with Christ. Didn't He say that they'll know we are His disciples by our love?

Can we respectfully agree to disagree respectfully without using such language? Can we correct and admonish one another in humility lest we who think we stand take heed lest we fall?

...And yes, I used to live in Roanoke, VA. But no, I don't take offense at being labeled a redneck. I just think we need to guard our speech. Let us be above reproach to those who are looking for reasons to attack us for being sloppy in our research and communication.

I'm not the source... that's a direct quote from Jews in Israel.

I wouldn't hold too, too firmly to the exact figure because it would be hard to measure, just like it's hard to measure how many there believe in Yeshua, but I know it's in the thousands now. You do have a lot of Orthodox there...but the large majority are not religious at all. If you read "The Rainbow Swastika by Hannah Newman, you will see that she has deep concerns about her people who are into the New Age...

http://philologos.org/__eb-trs/nac.htm

Anyway, if the Jews were all seeking God's face by this time Mashiach would be here. As the wise King Solomon:

2Chr. 7:14 aand My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

I believe this is still applicable today...

Dear YesinaSpanishTown,
Just to stick my nose into your conversation,
I think it's important to point out that the
term "redneck" had no negative connotation
attached to it until the nineties or so. Really.
In fact redneck was more a term of endearment than anything. "Redneck" referred to hardworking and good natured men. The term "redneck" only became synonymous with racism
and hatefulness as the result of a few rap songs and a few comments in the movies as of the late eighties and early nineties.
I consider it a highjacked word, like "gay".

Well, I agree with you there. However, to understand how Bush #41and Bush #43 think and operate (if "by their fruits ye shall know them") is to be aware that both of them absolutely HATE TO LOSE . . . at anything!!!

There is evidence that Bush #43 planned to go into Iraq, BEFORE 9/11 ever happened, in order to finish what "daddy" Bush stsrted and finally "get" Saddam Hussein (like a cowboy vendetta).

Also, it's extremely naive if we Americans don't realize that greed and the desire for Iraq's oil wasn't another strong "motivation."

Unfortunately, we need to accept the reality that the Bush men (all Yale Skull & Bones members from Prescott, George H.W. and George W.) are not necessarily "good" people with America's best interests at heart.

So, be careful that you are not so quick to accept all of the "disinformation" that has been perpertrated on the American people that our country has been motivated to go to war out of pure "patriotism" and "fighting for our freedom".

To conclude: the whole story about 9/11 has YET to be revealed.

Also, this is not about being manipulated by the "enemy" . . . we need to be more concerned with the "enemy" within.

Only Almighty God knows the whole story and what is in the hearts and minds of America's leaders, but it's going to be very interesting to see how HE "evaluates" all of this on Judgement Day. We may be shocked.

May God have mercy on us all.

FYI -- I am a proud American and a Conservative Republican who plans to vote for John McCain - who I consider to be the lesser of two evils.

I have been on this earth a long time and lived through many presidential administrations. I believe this gives me enough wisdom to gain a true perspective on exactly where we are now as a nation. And, it's not "pretty".

I have many friends and relatives who travel all over the world and face a great deal of anger and animosity . . . because currently, we have a moron in the White House.

Sorry if I don't fit into your neat little "box" with a label on it.

Sometimes hearing the truth along with tough love is very painful isn't it???

But that's not MY problem; it's YOURS.

To SV, who writes:

"If all you've come here to do is to spew generalized Anti-American sentiment, there are PLENTY of sites that would love to share your dialogue."

Actually, there was nothing "general" about the poster's comments. They were backed up with observations and facts. And nowhere did Anonymous 7:19 say that someone should be ashamed to be American.

Apparently, under YOUR standards, if someone criticizes American policy, foreign or domestic, he or she is automatically labelled "Anti-American." What happened to the "marketplace of ideas" and "freedom of speech" -- held as vital for a healthy civil society and political body to flourish?

I guess all those abolitionists and Civil Rights activists (and today's pro-life activists) who went against the prevailing political and social order in the good old U.S. of A were "Anti-American." Hmmmmmm....

"Evil is evil in whichever country it flourishes," you say...but certainly NOT in America, right? Because....we're beyond criticism. We're DIFFERENT.... Ya know, "City on the Hill" and all that.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it, you Constitution-hating puddy-tat!

Anon12:55,

As a cowboy, I find your use of a slanderous term such as cowboy vendetta to be inflamatory and hatefull! (lol just kidding)

Paul,

As I have been reffered to as "redneck" on more than a handfull of occassions I thought I would add the true origins of the term. It originated in colonial america and was used by the British as a derogatory remark for farmers and field workers. As most of the occupying Brits from that period had never seen an honest days work, most were pasty white. While the farmers had prolonged exposure to the sun, so hence their necks were red. It was simply a slur used by the hierarchy of colonial america to state the average man was of a lower status. This term isn't much different from words like hillbilly or cracker which in their origins meant something completely different from the connontation they now have.

Anon10:21

If you want to stop what you apparently believe are scare tactics being used by anti-Obama americans. You might want to start by not using slurs or a connontation that people in a certain part of the country are morons. Your claim to want to stop fear mongering and stereo types is moot when you use the same tactics. Further more these "rednecks" must be doing something right as Virginia's forclosure rate is far lower than the national average and is in fact among the lowest in the nation. Further more rural Virginians would know how to grow their own food and survive through the harshest of times. Now I'll take any 4 year degree and see if during these times it will put food on my plate, versus having the ability to provide and sustain myself and my family. Lets also not forget that the same people you so belitlingly called rednecks are the same people that grow the food and raise the live stock you and your family survive on. Not to mention they mine the coal that produces the energy that sustains your way of life. When it all comes down, I can be sure that it won't be the country folks knocking on my door that need help. It will most certainly be these double talking, white collar, my education is superior so I am, city types. So in reality who needs who here? I can survive without a doctor, lawyer (sorry Constance), engineer, or anything else a degree could make someone. However, I could not survive without good old redneck intuition and neither could you!

NEW TB STRAIN IN NEW YORK.

It seems a new strain of extremely drug resistant TB has been found. It's airborne and has been misdiagnosed many times. Studies are showing the mortality rate between 50-60 percent. There have already been confirmed cases in New York. So we now have a virus that is as easy to catch as the common cold, has a high death toll, can't easily be treated with drugs or vaccines, and is already confirmed to be in the US.

I have fleshed out the comment with some details about Mayday.
So I am repeating it here.

May 1st.

What is so significant about "May Day"?

Here are a few salient points.

Illuminati (plural of Latin illuminatus, "enlightened") is a name that refers to several groups, both historical and modern, and both real and fictitious. Historically, it refers specifically to the (Bavarian) Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on May 1st, 1776.
This movement was founded on May 1, 1776, in Ingolstadt (Upper Bavaria), by Jesuit-taught Adam Weishaupt (d. 1830), who was the first lay professor of canon law at the University of Ingolstadt. The movement was made up of freethinkers, as an offshoot of the Enlightenment, which some amateur historians believe was a conspiracy to infiltrate and overthrow the governments of many European states.

April 30 - May 1 -- Beltaine Festival, also called Walpurgis Night.

This is the highest day on the Druidic Witch's Calendar.

May 1 is the Illuminati's second most sacred holiday.

Human sacrifice is required. People must die as human sacrifices, especially children, since Satan looks upon a younger human sacrifice as his most desirable

Walpurgis Night (in German folklore) the night of April 30 (May Day's eve), when witches meet on the Brocken mountain and hold revels with their gods..."

Adolf Hitler, with several members of his staff (including Joseph Goebbels), committed suicide on Walpurgisnacht, April 30/May 1, 1945. At the time of his suicide, the Russians had already closed in about several hundred meters on his bunker and Hitler did not want to be captured alive. However, the coincidence of the day has been used to argue for an occult initiation of Hitler.

The Bram Stoker short story "Dracula's Guest" takes place on Walpurgisnacht: "Walpurgis Night was when, according to the belief of millions of people, the devil was abroad – when the graves were opened and the dead came forth and walked. When all evil things of earth and air and water held revel."

In the H. P. Lovecraft story "The Dreams in the Witch House", Walpurgis Night is referred to as "the Witches' Sabbath", when Hell's blackest evil roamed the earth and all the slaves of Satan gathered for nameless rites and deeds.

In 1984, Ronald Reagan restated that, in the United States, May first would be known as "Law Day, ... a celebration of our 200-year-old partnership between law and liberty".

These along with hundreds of other references identify May 1st or the night of April 30/May 1 as a very auspicious time for beginnings among the secret world of the illuminati.

Why was the first 100 days chosen as a term of reference for Obama's presidency of change?

Will May Day see the beginning of some New World Order centered in the United States Presidency?

We will have to wait and see and maybe pray for a different outcome.

There is evidence that Bush #43 planned to go into Iraq, BEFORE 9/11 ever happened, in order to finish what "daddy" Bush stsrted and finally "get" Saddam Hussein (like a cowboy vendetta).

I have heard that story as well. And I am not going to say that I know with any greater certainty than you or anyone else that the story is true or false.

I am not comfortable with the Skull and Bones connections either.

I do believe, Anonymous, that your warning about "disinformation" etc. is well-intended, and I always do try to be very careful about uncritically swallowing any governmental "pronunciamentos" hook, line and sinker without trying to independently verify them.

I am more than willing to concede, moreover, that none of us - including myself - is exempt from the possibility of being deceived by enemies. Especially, as you say, by those "enemies from within."

It occurs to me that perhaps I need to further clarify my position here.

I make a distinction between our military and our government. This distinction is pretty much in line with what G.K. Chesterton once wrote in his book, EVERLASTING MAN: THE WARS OF THE GODS AND THE DEMONS

"In nothing is this new history needed so much as in the psychology of war. Our history is stiff with official documents, public or private, which tell us nothing of the thing itself. At the worst we only have the official posters, which could not have been spontaneous precisely because they were official. At the best we have only the secret diplomacy, which could not have been popular precisely because it was secret. Upon one or other of these is based the historical judgment about the real reasons that sustained the struggle. Governments fight for colonies or commercial rights; governments fight about harbors or high tariffs; governments fight for a gold mine or a pearl fishery. It seems sufficient to answer that governments do not fight at all. Why do the fighters fight? What is the psychology that sustains the terrible and wonderful thing called a war? Nobody who knows anything of soldiers believes the silly notion of the dons, that millions of men can be ruled by force. If they were all to slack, it would be impossible to punish all the slackers. And the least little touch of slacking would lose a whole campaign in half a day. What did men really feel about the policy? If it be said that they accepted the policy from the politician, what did they feel about the politician? If the vassals warred blindly for their prince, what did those blind men see in their prince?.........

.........Materialist history is the most madly incredible of all histories, or even of all romances. Whatever starts wars, the thing that sustains wars is something in the soul; that is something akin to religion. It is what men feel about life and about death. A man near to death is dealing directly with an absolute; it is nonsense to say he is concerned only with relative and remote complications that death in any case will end. If he is sustained by certain loyalties, they must be loyalties as simple as death. They are generally two ideas, which are only two sides of one idea. The first is the love of something said to be threatened, if it be only vaguely known as home; the second is dislike and defiance of some strange thing that threatens it.....read entire chapter.....

http://tinyurl.com/5m77kx

Perhaps G.K. Chesterton's comments about the difference between the men who start wars and the men who fight them can be summed up in the question "Have you ever seen a hearse towing a U-Haul?"

My father is a World War II Veteran who served with the famous 88th Infantry Division in Italy. His duties included guarding prisoners of war. He told me that a distinction was always made by our military between members of the regular German Army and the members of the SS. The reason for this is because of the belief that every country has the right to raise an army for its own defense.

Unlike most of the regular German army, the SS was the elite "praetorian guard" of the Nazi Party, and, as such, they were privy to much, if not all, of the hidden agenda of the Nazi Party - especially in terms of the "Final Solution" that was made manifest in the Holocaust.

Nazi documents discovered by the allies indicated that unlike the regular German Army, the SS could not credibly plead "not guilty" to charges of war crimes on the grounds that they were merely "following orders."

As you pointed out "By their fruits you will know them."

Ergo, the SS members were treated accordingly vis a vis the War Crimes Trials at Nuremburg.

I hope that this enables you to understand a little more clearly where I am coming from in terms of the role of our U.S. military.

Hi SV (3:14),

Facts and observations:

1. Bin Laden is, according to the FBI website, between 6'4 - 6'6.

2. As regards the "justification" offered by the GWB administration for starting this war--is there anyone out there who actually still believes the thread of WMD was genuine, and not a contrived pretext?

3. As for GWB himself being a WMD -- it's a good metaphor. Bush, by starting this war, has managed to not only kill hundreds of thousands of people but also bring world opinion of the U.S. to an all time low. By finishing off the disastrous economic policies started by Clinton (and his pal Greenspan), Bush has managed to bring the U.S. economy to its knees--it is now rotting from within. American used to be the leader of the free world--now it's a laughing stock, economically, militarily, morally.

4. One has to wonder whether or not GWB and his cronies set out deliberately ten years ago to wreck the United States to such a degree that the country would, in 2008, embrace a candidate like Obama. It Obama gets elected, this administration, and those who continue to support it, should take a long look in the mirror. I'd say Bush and his billionaire Wall Street cronies will be long gone from this country with their stash of cash by the time Obama puts the "finishing touches" on the rapid downward spiral of destruction that is now the United States of America.

God help us all.

JD,
Right on.
My reason for explaining that the word redneck
is only recently a bad word is because I'm looking at a situation in which the Devil is sowing discord.
The word redneck is, I believe, in the minds of many, if not most African Americans, a truly dirty word, akin to the "N" word. But here's the thing, most white Americans still use the word in the older sense. Thus you have white folks throwing it around like it was good and black folks hearing that and thinking that white folks are proud
of their racism !
The Devil is a liar who goes around seeking whom he may devour. Think of how many bad feelings and how much animosity is created completely
by misunderstanding of words which have changed meaning. The devil, plus human nature, is always behind it.
Look what pop music did to the word "love".
Look what Hollywood does to the term "christian"
or the word "fundamental" or "evangelical". I remember how old "western" TV shows tore down the word "charity" and turned it into an insult.
Look what the radical islamists have done for the term "The Brotherhood", or what Freemasonry
does for it.
I don't think that's what Peter was talking about
in 1Peter 2:17.

In 1984, Ronald Reagan restated that, in the United States, May first would be known as "Law Day, ... a celebration of our 200-year-old partnership between law and liberty".

In a treatise on a 'majickal' word (I won't use the word here - p.g.)used by master occultist Aleister Crowley, the author states:

"Triple Invocation

As triple invocation of Light, Life, and Love, the Word reminds of the three principle expressions of the Cosmos. When combined, they give is a fourth and fifth point, that of Law and Liberty. By understanding and seeking Life, Light, and Love in creation, we can get a grasp on Cosmic Law, which in turn, is the source of our personal freedom from the negative aspects of karma, or the means of our liberation from the bondage of matter and restriction."

Was Reagan using some 'wisdom' imparted to him by some advisor or counsellor, or was he initiated into the use of 'majick' himself?

Law and Liberty sounds so Patriotic. So 'natural'.

Has some cauldron been simmering all these years, and is now ready to be poured out the the gathered shrouded masses?

Will Law & Liberty be the sacrifice on the altar May 1, 2009?

'food' for thought.

Keep your eyes on May 1 2009.

I was looking at the google earth pics on YG's site per OldManOfTheSki's prompting the other day. Today I came across this article in the AZ Republic:

"This evening, as ghouls, goblins and other creatures of the night take to the streets to beg for sugary treats, take a moment to examine a real apparition: Algol, the demon star."

"The ancient Hebrews called it Rosh ha Satan (Satan's Head) and its present name comes from the Arabic phrase Al Ra's al Ghul (the Demon's Head). Clearly, it has an unsavory reputation.
But why?"

"Every few days, for no apparent reason, Algol dims noticeably for several hours, then returns to its normal brightness. Ancient astronomers, for whom the immutability of the heavens was a given, found this disturbing."

"Algol is what astronomers call an eclipsing binary, which vary in brightness because a large, but dim, companion star periodically passes in front of the primary star, temporarily reducing its brightness."

"Look for Algol in the constellation Perseus, which is high in the northeast after sunset."
Link-
http://tinyurl.com/6q6jpb

Then I found this from Chandra X-Ray Observatory [cxc operated for NASA]:

"The story behind the name: Perseus was the son of the Greek god Zeus and the mortal princess Danae. Perseus' grandfather, Acrisius, the king of Argos, was warned by an oracle that he would be killed by his grandson. Acrisius locked his daughter Danae in a dungeon to prevent her bearing a child. Zeus found a way into her dungeon disguised as a shower of gold..."
"Perseus had many adventures on the way back to Seriphos. He stopped at the palace of the Titan Atlas and was refused hospitality so he used the Gorgon's head to turn Atlas in to a mountain. He saw the beautiful Andromeda chained to a cliff to appease Poseidon's sea monster. He rescued her from the monster and married her, using Medusa's head to defeat an attack by her relatives. Perseus then saved his mother from marrying Polydectes by turning the king and his court to stone with the head of Medusa."

"King Acrisius, however, could not escape his fate. There are several versions of how Acrisius and Perseus came to be in the same place at the same time, but in all of them, Acrisius is accidentally killed by a discus thrown by Perseus in funeral games. Although Perseus was placed in the sky near Andromdea, the constellation is usually depicted showing him holding Medusa's head, with the bright star Algol marking her eye."
Link-
http://tinyurl.com/6923av

The conclusion being that the "demon star" Algol marks the eye of Medusa who has a head of snakes...mirror image here on earth???

Just a thought.

This was during the period which included Reagans 1984 statement about Law & Liberty.

George Herbert Walker Bush was Reagan's VP. He of NWO ambitions.

The cowboy thing was meant jokingly. I wouldn't however go so far as to call Bush a moron, as that dangerously encroaches on judgement of the man, not to mention we are told not to call someone a fool and moron is dangerously close. I am of the opinion that George may not be as intelectualy challenged as some believe him to be. I could be wrong on this but at times he plays up being dumb in order to skirt suspicion. Add to that if many of the things he has done ever come back to bite him, he can plead ignorance. Just my thoughts, I just find it obsurd to think someone who appears as mentally deficient as he does at times could stumble into the most powerfull position on the planet, and I don't care who he's related to in this aspect. The other option would be if he is, then obviously he was helped to get where he is and who ever helped him must have done so with the expectation of being able to manipulate the US president. As far as what geographical location he's from I agree it doesn't matter. For starters everyone associates him with Texas and in turn assumes he's a dumb hick. The fact is though George isn't even from Texas, he just happened to get elected governor of that state. What chaifed me was the comment made by a previous poster who assumed that because it was Virginia in question everyone from the area is a inbred illiterate hick. I know I went on a bit of a tangent, but my point was to illustrate that without these rednecks this persons way of life would cease to be. I have an issue with anyone who wants to look down their nose at someone due to social status or education.

Paul,

Point well taken. I however see this similarly to african americans who blatantly use the "N". I am of the mind that if a word is to be considered "offensive" it should not be used by anyone! I for one don't consider redneck offensive, just the judgemental tone in which it is used. The same could be said for many other words, but others are to worried about someone taking pity on them and their plight.

I may have said this before, but I will never forget the news clip I caught in the 1970s with the PLO arming little children and training them to kill Jews; I wept bitterly. I haven't been here on this blog much lately , but just meandered over and read your newest comment.

Funny you should mention that demon star. I've already told Dorothy about something that happened to me a few weeks ago. I'll recount it on my blog in the future. (Dorothy didn't think much of it, by the way.)

In the meanwhile, I hope you'll all forgive me for posting a warning story on my blog about the occult. It just seemed appropriate for All Hallow's Eve.

I think at least Oldmanoftheski will enjoy it and not condemn me as being some sort of new-ager occultist nut case!

I did discuss it back here in August as well, and had a great deal of help from people including Paul, Susanna and others, who helped me realize that I was under demonic attack.

That's correct, I didn't think much of it. Your dog or was it a cat that got spooked . The white thing close to the moon at a smaller magnification I told you humorously looked like you could send it to a UFO magazine. Further magnification showed the picture you took was of something so high up in the air it looked like a plane that the sun reflected off of.

BUSH TO ATTEND UNCONFERENCE ON
RELIGIONS;CULTURES

Another angle to keep an eye on

"The meeting is a follow-up to an interfaith conference in Madrid organized by King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and King Juan Carlos of Spain in July which brought together Jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and representatives of other religions and sparked hopes of a new relationship among religions."

To JD (@ 6:34 PM):

You are correct that George W. Bush isn't "from" Texas. He was born in New Haven, CN . . . but was raised in Midland, TX and Houston, TX. He then attended a private high school (Phillips Academy) in Andover, MA and then went on to Yale.

However, unlike his father and grandfather who both excelled at Yale, GWB was only a C student. As a matter of fact, the only way he could qualify for Yale Skull & Bones was to be elected Head Cheerleader (since holding some type of office was a requirement).

My own loose definition of the word "moron" has more to do with his lack of sound (well thought out) judgement when making decisions that will ultimately have dire consequences affecting the entire world for generations to come.

Actually, perhaps "dangerous" might have been a better choice of words. I stand corrected.

On the View, on ABC news... they are having psychics predicting the election:
http://abcnews.go.com/politics

Kind of scary that this is probably the source of information for many people..instead of the Bible:

I found it interesting that Susanna started the comment section of the blog with NOAH..

In contrast to the psychic story today's Torah portion ( the part of the Scriptures that Jews all over the world read in synagogues) just happens to be Noach. Since I don't believe in coincidences I thought I would share a little about that here. For those who don't read my comments, just skip right over this...

Within this portion is included the story about Nimrod building the Tower of Babel. Today in the 21st century, it looks like the spirit of Nimrod is alive and well. What is the New World Order, but another attempt to build a tower to the sky and "be like God". Remember, it is God who separated the nations:

Deut 32:8 When He separated the sons of man,
He set the boundaries of the peoples
According to the number of the sons of Israel.
What utter arrogance and rebellion for the leaders of the world to try to break these barriers and boundaries and make us "one" in the NWO.

By contrast the Torah portion ends with the introduction of Abram who later becomes Abraham. The starts with a righteous man and ends with a righteous man. After the flood, it's pretty amazing to see how persistent man's tendency toward rebellion is...Sad to See Ham dishonor his father ( most commentaries believe that seeing his nakedness was more than just seeing his father drunk and nude, but has sexual overtones). Remember God curses Canaan and his descendants for this perversity. Today our world is filled with perverse sexual acts. ( looking on someone's nakedness is a a euphemism for having sexual relations)

Today, once again, Babel is being rebuilt, but as we end the Torah portion with the story of Abraham, we are reminded of a man who left his home and family and through whose seed ALL the families of the earth would be blessed ( the portion ends with his introduction only).

We are reminded that the evil tendency of mankind is present through history, but God sent a redeemer. We're reminded that even Noah wasn't perfect, but he did listen to God when God told him the only way of salvation was an ark. Because of his obedience to do what may have seemed ridiculous to his friends and neighbors, mankind was preserved.

1Cor. 1:27 but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of bthe world to shame the things which are strong,

Imagine how his neighbors must have mocked him, when up until that time it had never rained. People are mocking those of us who believe in the Salvation of God today....Yeshua.

There is only one way of salvation, one door, just like the ark, and that is Yeshua. Here are His words:

Rev. 3:20 ‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

We are also reminded that we would enter days like the day of Noah.

Luke 17:26-27 “And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

The comforting thing is that almost 6000 years ago God knew exactly what would be happening. He saw the rebelliousness of man. He knew that the world was corrupt and filled with violence( hamas in Hebrew) and many would think they were wise in their own eyes, but He made provision.

A number of years later, a Hebrew baby would be saved by a "basket" that resembled a mini ark. He would lead his people out of slavery to a land flowing with milk and honey...He pointed to one who was coming even greater than he, that was Yeshua, but Isaiah says it well, although the rabbis exclude this portion from their weekly haftorah comments:

Is. 53:1Who has believed our message?
And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground;
He has bno stately form or majesty
That we should look upon Him,
Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. He was despised and forsaken of men,
A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;
And like one from whom men hide their face
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely our griefs He Himself bore,
And our sorrows He carried;
Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray,
Each of us has turned to his own way;
But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all
To fall on Him. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers,
So He did not open His mouth. By oppression and judgment He was taken away; And as for His generation, who considered That He was cut off out of the land of the living For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due? His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His death, Because He had cdone no violence,
Nor was there any deceit in His mouth. But the LORD was pleased
To crush Him, putting Him to grief;
If He would render Himself as a guilt coffering,
He will see His offspring,
He will prolong His days,
And the good epleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand. As a result of theanguish of His soul, He will asee it and be satisfied;
By His knowledge the Righteous One,
My Servant, will justify the many,
As He will bear their iniquities.
Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great,
And He will divide the booty with the strong;
Because He poured out Himself to death,
And was numbered with the transgressors;
Yet He Himself bore the sin of many,
And interceded for the transgressors.

Remember the verse from Zechariah:

Zech. 12:10 “I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, 1the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.

The same one that was pierced in Isaiah 53 is the same one that the house of David is going to mourn and weep over...That one, I submit to you is none other than Yeshua and there are already those from the house of David who are realizing this today.

This week, there were a group of Christians who decided to pray for the economy...Unfortunately, they decided to descend on Wall Street en mass ( no pun intended) and "lay hands" on the bull representing Merrill Lynch.. Sadly, these Christians thought the Torah portion about golden calf worship did not apply to them. Probably their intentions were good, but so were the Israelites when they set up the golden calf to "worship YHVH" because they were impatient for Moses to come down from the mountain.

We are all impatient to see the return of Messiah, but help us Abba to know you better so that we will not make the same mistakes as those who went before us...I have news for those who prayed, God might just be more interested in our corporate repentance than our stock portfolios. Sometimes His priorities are different than ours..

One more interesting note... in today's Jerusalem Post there is an article that says there are more Jews returning to Israel because of the economy.. God can even use the stock market to accomplish His will.

Thank you, Yeshua for bearing our iniquities, for dying for our transgressions of Torah. May you help those in this lost generation who don't know You....May you help all those on this blog who are struggling or suffering with job loss, illness, discouragement, may you give open doors to share the truth of the Scriptures.

Thank you, that you are our Shabbat rest, and as we enter into Shabbat we think of You, the Bread of Life, the manna in the Wilderness, and the Word that became flesh and died for us. You who were there from the foundations of the earth and rested on the 7th day because all that was created was "very good".

May we bring glory and honor to you, with all that we do...

Amen.

This week the Haftorah portion is Is 54 ( Haftorah is what the Jews read when they were forbidden to read Torah...and usually has a corresponding them to the normal Torah portion. Is 53 is explained by the rabbis to be about "Israel" as the suffering servant...and while Israel has suffered greatly, the passage is about the the one who was pierced for our transgressions and "justified the many". Israel has not and cannot justify us, only God can.

Many of you, might not observe the Shabbat, but I encourage you to look at it.. Yeshua is our rest and at the creation God sanctified the seventh day as a mo'ed...An appointment with Him. He did that at the creation, and then He gave it to His people as an eternal ordinance, as a sign that we are His. In the 7th millennium we will have 1000 year Shabbat rest...so when we get together and celebrate Shabbat and remember what Yeshua did, we are also reminded of the ultimate rest when He establishes His reign from Jerusalem.

For those of you who celebrate and those of you who don't....

Shabbat shalom,
Joyce

Psalms 22:16
“For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
John 19:24 They (Roman soldiers) said therefore among themselves, let us not rend it (Jesus’ coat), but cast lots for it. . .”
Joyce, again you have smitten me with words True and Holy, and I rejoice in whom they speak; thanks for taking the time to remind me just how sweet they are.
“Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet. . . sanctify them by the Truth, thy Word is Truth.”
Joyce said: “He knew that the world was corrupt and filled with violence( hamas in Hebrew) and many would think they were wise in their own eyes, but He made provision.” Hamas, very interesting!

The timing of the US attack on the Syrian border village is most interesting.

The hidden meanings and symbolism of the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Beijing has been explained by Bob Schlenker at The Open Scroll. Much of it was imitating and mocking Biblical facts.

http://tinyurl.com/4hdhnv

One of the key messages was that they were announcing a New Beginning. Their New Beginning.

We already knew that the opening ceremony was heavily connected to the figure 8 (8/8/08) and that a crop circle in that shape appeared in England on the very same day. We also know that Russia invaded S. Ossetia on the same day and that the border crossing is 888 miles from Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

So, this New Beginning started on 8/24/2008.

36 days later and the Dow fell 777 points.

63 days later and the US attacks a border village in Syria.

36 and 63

3663

3663 = 333 x 11.

Most interesting.

Dear Joyce,
I didn't know about the looking on someone's nakedness euphemism. I love that you taught this humble gentile something new!
Beautiful post, Joyce, truly.

Joyce, Do you have a blog or, if not, have you thought of having a blog? You might check out the blog of my sister-in-law at: http://tinyurl.com/5plqgw.

MaryAnne,

I find your posts and blog interesting personally, so that's my two cents.

Appreciate your comments Setterman, SV, and Eric( although I have no desire whatsoever to start a blog) Your sister's blog is interesting. Thanks for the link.

To the anonymous poster who put together the dates and numbers for us...that is pretty interesting. Hadn't thought that specifically about the timing, but someone else might have?

Blessings to you all,
Joyce

Regard the story, here's a new development: According, at least, to a Fox News report, Syrian officials had approved the raid because the secular Damascus government feared Al Quaeda themselves. When the raid did not go as expected, Syrian officials feigned ignorance. I personally do not what to believe -- truth is usually the first casualty of war.

It appears Obama is counting on more than 'faith in God' or 'a righteous wind behind him' to carry him into office. In this report on mlive.com, his true faith system is revealed loud and clear. The link is here:

http://tinyurl.com/65u5ky

"{But} chief strategist David Axelrod has been carrying the same pink quartz heart in his pants pocket for about three weeks. A woman he didn't know approached him at an event and gave it to him.

“She seemed to have an aura about her,” Axelrod said. “We have been doing pretty well since then.”

Aides say Obama isn’t showing any more superstitious behavior than usual.

The Illinois senator admitted in June to carrying a pocket full of charms. He dug his hand into his pants pocket in the middle of an event and revealed what look like a junk drawer of goodies: a “lucky poker chip” given to him by a voter, an American eagle pin from a Native American woman and a small golden statue of the Monkey King.

Obama openly embraced superstition in January when he began correlating basketball with victory. He played on the day of the Iowa caucus, which he won, but did not shoot hoops on the day of the New Hampshire primary, which he lost. With rare exception, he has corralled aides, friends and occasionally members of the media to indulge his superstition on every primary election day.

Obama, naturally, will play basketball Tuesday"

This comes as no surprise to those of us who have already seen the 'otherside' of Senator Obama, but one has to wonder whether President Obama will consult 'chicken entrails', or roll 'voodoo bones' to make world changing decisions?
