Hillary Clinton and the New Age

Hillary Clinton's New Age Strategists

UPDATE: "Farmer" (Bjorn Freiberg) will be my radio guest on MY PERSPECTIVE at 5 p.m. Eastern Time (2 p.m. Pacific Time) tomorrow, April 8, 2008. Please plan to join us. We will be discussing his brilliant research and blogspot article of Beast Ahoy!

To my readers: Author Warren Smith will be joining me Friday on My Perspective at www.themicroeffect.com. He will be discussing Oprah Winfrey's Eckhart Tolle promotion and its hidden dangers. Stay tuned! The following is an article I have submitted for publication with NewswithView.com. I thought I would give my blogspot readers a "sneak preview."

I write this article with mixed feelings. As a woman who has struggled with mixed demands of home and career myself, I felt sympathy for Hillary Clinton when she raised a firestorm in 1992 by saying, "well, I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies." This was taken as an anti-family statement by most on the conservative right.

I defended Hillary publicly when people told me they suspected she was a New Ager. I said, most likely, she and Bill were more engaged in counting votes. When Hillary Clinton was publicly asked if she were a follower of New Age religion, I took her simple "no," at face value. I was a little more concerned when she, in endorsing World Federalists, lambasted those who said that the leadership was "Luciferic."

Evidently, Hillary either did not know that Donald Keys, its former president, was a former administrator of Lucis Trust, working alongside Foster and Alice Bailey. At various times he also was active with the Sri Chinmoy cult of the United Nations, headed the anti-nuclear group SANE, and was the organizer and chief leader of Planetary Citizens and its offshoot, Planetary Initiative for the World We Choose. Donald Keys has strangely vanished from the scene. His internet presence is very tiny indeed. His co-worker and co-author of EARTH AT OMEGA: PASSAGE TO PLANETIZATION was the former Saturday Review editor, Norman Cousins. Cousins wrote that he and Donald Keys had worked on their project for several decades.

Many times, I was tempted to send Hillary Clinton a private communication with attached Exhibits in legal brief form proving that World Federalists definitely had at its highest levels, Luciferic sympathies. I suspected that such a communication would never reach her.

When first released, I read portions of Hillary Clinton's autobiographical book, Living History, with interest. I realized we came from similar times and stresses and were motivated in our youth by common concerns. I was not a Goldwater girl. I had campaigned for Eugene McCarthy in my youth. I, too, like most of my generation, disliked the Vietnam War. I, too, felt that those in power had a duty to stand up for the little guy.

I am fairly certain that if Hillary Clinton had viewed the same materials from the New Age sources that Donald Keys used to run (Lucis Trust and the Alice Bailey books) that were clearly anti-Jewish, anti-Christian, and considered Aryan man the highest act of "evolution," that she might well feel some of the same sense of revulsion that prompted me to spend the time I have in their expose′.

Over the years, I read scattered reports about Hillary Clinton's intense sessions with Jean Houston and Catherine Bateson, both names long familiar to me as ardent proponents of New Age psychotechnologies as well as New Age religion. One of the most aggressive New Agers I closely studied is Marianne Williamson. I had unexpected exceptional opportunities to do as she came to Warren in 1998 to head the Unity Church then known as "Church of Today" there. Warren, Michigan had to be a real letdown for one used to being "Minister to the Stars" as New Age superstar Marianne Williamson was. Her Sunday services were televised weekly. Her huge New Age bookstore with curious Buddhist statuary including swastikas, combined with the militant wiccan and pagan magazines, combined with loads of books on the coming "shift" (Shirley Maclaine calls it "Karmageddon), are clues.

The wide assortment of Theosophical standards such as Isis Unveiled and The Secret Doctrine, combined with most of the Alice Bailey titles leave little doubt as to where Marianne Williamson is coming from. Her stance is most definitely one of raw hostility towards orthodox Christianity. Her religious services were a little more confusing. The singing would often be gospel, but her sermons definitely were not. She instructed both her church audience and television on numerous occasions when I viewed and recorded many such programs that "we do not believe Jesus is the Christ – we believe he is a Christ – not 'the Christ.'"

The only person who made Marianne Williamson look friendly by comparison vis a vis Christianity was her good friend Jean Houston. On assuming Marianne Williamson's pulpit one Sunday, Jean Houston publicly excoriated Marianne Williamson for her Christian gospel music. Newer "templates" were needed, per Houston. I was breezing through my office today on other chores and noticed my partially unread Hillary Clinton's book, LIVING HISTORY on one room's shelf. Absently mindedly pulling it down, I noticed that I had read only until page 111. That had not gotten me as far as I needed to read for my specialty subject: the New Age Movement

I had read Bob Woodward's recent book about Hillary and had heard of his earlier writings. I deeply regret now that I never sent Hillary that 1993 contemplated letter. We even know people in common, including but not limited to Detroit area Congressman John Conyers, currently chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. Conyers told me that he had read both my books. One of the last times I ran into him, he said, "hey, Connie, are you still writing books on mysticism." He then confessed he had read and enjoyed both.

The New Age Movement has so permeated our culture that it would be difficult for anybody to not have had exposure to it in one way or another. I have long divided the New Age Movement into classes of "hypnotized" and "hypnotizers." Marianne Williamson and Jean Houston are definitely part of the hypnotizers – those that make a lovely living from the group-grope elements of the movement.

Anthony Robbins is one of the hypnotizers. He is the fire-walking guru. I suspect he has his participants sign multiple release from liability forms before participating in his firewalking seminars. At one speaking engagement I enjoyed years ago, somebody sent me a Robbins' poster and said, "Hey, Constance, I think I have this New Age thing all figured out – it's a podiatrists' conspiracy!" What disturbs me the most about Hillary is that she appears to be one of the hypnotized and may have handed disproportionate power to the hypnotizers. Page 263 of her book, part of the chapter, "Conversations with Eleanor" is revealing of just how much may have been given over to those. What also disturbs me is that some of the pressures she used New Age methods to relieve may have been necessitated by some unfair tactics of those she labeled as participants in "a vast right wing conspiracy."

Many times, people are initiated in New Age circles as they seek refuge from stresses of everyday life. The stresses of a United States presidency in this wicked age are almost unimaginable. Quoting from Hillary Clinton's "Living History," we read:

"Bill and I had met Marianne Williamson . . . at one of our Renaissance weekends, and she [Williamson] had suggested we get together with a group of people outside the political world to discuss Bill's goals for the remaining two years of his term. That struck a chord with me, and we invited her to convene a gathering at Camp David on December 30 and 31 "Williamson's guest list included Tony Robbins . . . and Stephen R. Covey . . . I figured if millions of Americans were listening to their advice, I figured it might help to hear what they had to say. Williamson also invited Mary Catherine Bateson and Jean Houston. . . . I found myself engrossed in hours of conversation with Mary Catherine [Bateson] and Jean Houston . . . Jean wraps herself in brightly colored capes and caftans and dominates the room with her larger-than-life-presence and crackling wit. She is a walking encyclopedia . . . She is also a trove of great jokes and puns and is ready to share her cache with anyone in need of a good laugh. "[Always helpful for relieving political and other stresses].

Hillary candidly discusses her Methodist Church background and her pastoral support. I believe her when she says that from time to time she gets down on her knees and asks God for guidance. Although I have spoken to large conventions of United Methodist Church ministers who shared my concerns about New Age issues, I am well aware that New Age apostasies have run rampant through it and the chances are slim that the average Methodist busy with other pursuits will receive warnings.

I am also told that Hillary Clinton attends a regular Bible Study at the Fellowship Foundation in Washington, D.C. As Fellowship Foundation has at least one interlocking directorate with the Institute of Noetic Sciences, a clearly New Age think tank, I sadly suspect that she will not get direction there either.

Hillary says she is seeking God. I have no reason to doubt her. But she may be looking in some of the wrong places and receiving bad directions. My prayer for Hillary, as well as others caught up in New Age philosophies, especially now that they believe they are about to execute "the shift" which Shirley Maclaine gleefully calls "Karmageddon," is that she will pray to God for the wisdom which he gives to all men without upbraiding. I also pray that she will use her impressive lawyerly training to examine the evidence – all of the evidence – not just that which Marianne Williamson and Jean Houston choose to present her.

One more thing – there will be those who believe I am far too soft on Hillary Clinton. I believe everybody is entitled to one kind warning. That clearly includes Hillary Clinton, for whom Jesus also bled and died. May we not drive people to the New Age by pettiness and unkindness. May they not use our unkindness as justification for eternally endangering their mortal souls.

Constance, giving someone the benefit of the doubt is one thing, voting for them is another. The problem is that there are links with Obama to NA too. He just announced that he would give Al Gore a cabinet level position to combat global warming. Then there's McCain, who I'm not too sure about either.

One gets the impression that this is "outcome-based elections". Those in power have already decided which chess piece will be moved next and we are all pawns in this.

Constance, thank you so much for the Hillary NA synopsis. Don’t forget there’s more than just hypnotizers and the hypnotized out there. There’s also people like you, the deprogrammers!

I think it’s clear that the AOC and the Politics of Hope are merely repackaged forms of Planetary Citizens/New World Alliance. I guess the world just wasn’t ready for Donald Keys’vision back in the 1980’s. They’ve learned a thing or two about marketing since then haven't they? All three of the top candidates seem to have incorporated large portions of the NA agenda. If you believe the Bilderbergers anoint each successive President, than it appears likely Hillary has been given the nod. (Ottawa, 2006), but it looks to me like they have all their bases covered just in case.

My contact with Mr. Keys occurred over twenty-seven years ago and was limited to a very brief exchange of letters. At least I did have first hand evidence he existed. Can anyone explain how a man with such influence and prominence on the NA scene could vanish so completely? Maybe he developed some incurable disease and was secretly frozen, to be thawed out at some future date. My guess is he was abducted by the Lemurians and is being prepared, even as we speak, for a dramatic reappearance at some opportune moment, in an enlightened form of course. (Sorry, having spent a few days near Mt. Shasta recently, with all the NA stuff concentrated around that area, it seems as likely an explanation as any.)

In looking through some NWA info, I found the name, “Martha Keys of Planetary Citizens” right below Donald’s in the list of the “Governing Council”. In searching her name I didn’t come up with much, and got a bit confused regarding different people with the same name. Can you or someone else here sort out who this woman was and what role she played?

Here’s the link where I started from yesterday...

I do seem to recall that Martha Keys was Donald Keys' second wife. I was told by his son Christopher and fiancee that Donald had left the family to "go serve the world" when Christopher Keys was only 10 years old. Very, very sad!

Anonymous said...

I woke up this morning with another thought. What if Donald had become a born again believer and either the Lord took him to heaven immediately to enjoy His glory forever, or his Lucis Trust brethern rubbed him out to keep things quiet (again, he'd be with the Lord always). Think what an incredible witness a man like Keys would have been if something so striking took place! Stranger things have happened.

That still doesn't answer the question though. If I can find an old high school buddy using Google, why is there no sign of the Keys?

Constance,

Terrific insight and a poignant reflection in the latter times of His loving Grace.

In regards to the 3-legged pogo stick Presidential race, McCain seems like a plausible Manchurian Candidate. He's a war hero on one side and a Global assassin to the Constitution on the other, a bunnies tail ahead of the others. Just my opinion.

In regards to Transatlantic relations, His Excellency President George Bush, The German Marshall Fund and Chatham House:

Oldmanoftheski, thanks for bringing us back to Radical Middle. I did some exploring around the website.

I know we sometimes think that the New Age movement is so big and powerful that we can do nothing about it. Yet, even people who appear at the top are not always successful. The critique of Reuniting America by Satin is full of jealousy because in spite of all of his efforts the movement seems to have passed him by. The smug response to him must have been painful.

http://www.radicalmiddle.com/x_agony.htm

Constance has said for years that the New Age movement encompasses the political right and left. Example: "Reuniting America has convened seven private, multi-day, professionally facilitated retreat dialogues among top leaders from groups as diverse as Common Cause, Christian Coalition, Americans for Tax Reform, American Conservative Union, American Legion, AARP, MoveOn.org, League of Women Voters and others."

http://www.radicalmiddle.com/x_reuniting_exchange.htm

http://libertycoalition.net/liberty-coalition-partner-organizations How strange to see Townhall on the Liberty Coalition page as part of a NA network.

How interesting that Reunitng America retreats would take place at Wye River, aka Aspen Institute, formerly Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies.

Knowing what is going on is a matter that needs careful research. The NA movement is quite complex. If one doesn't know anything about the players and organizations, he can miss the big picture. One can go through the website without once seeing "We hate Jews" or "We hate Christians" slogans. Newbies could easily wonder why the worry if there are no overt pagan or occult patterns. They are there, easily seen by those who have patiently learned who are the players.

The website shows that NA groups are uniting representatives of the right and left, center and fringe, the academic and pop, financial representatives and charitable groups in order to introduce their ideas to all individuals, one way or another. Obama still appears to be an example of how this is working with his theme of bring us all together.

Since so few people know what the New Age movement is, it works. We need to keep telling those around us what it is.

they can't highjack the Holy

Constance:

This evening (4/3/08 at 5:30 PM CST), Brian Williams ("NBC Nightly News") did a "sanitized" segment on an unknown (to the public anyway) Washington "religious leader," Doug Coe and his ministry called, "The Fellowship." Doug Coe holds these prayer breakfasts that Hillary, Obama and McCain have attended. Past presidents (such as Bush #41, Carter, Reagan, Eisenhower) have also attended. (As a matter of fact, the prayer breakfasts began with Eisenhower's support during his administration.)

The segment mentioned that their secrecy brought about an expose book called, "The Family" by Jeff Sharlet. My question: If these are legitimate Christian prayer breakfasts, WHY all of the secrecy?

So, I did a search on the Internet and found out the following information:

A multi-million dollar mansion in Arlington, VA (registered as a church) has been used as "a private hideaway" for world leaders as well as Senators and members of Congress for well over two decades. This "invisible association" has ties to business leaders in the oil and aerospace industry, and was also a behind-the-scenes player in the Camp David Middle East Accords of 1978 with then President Jimmy Carter.

The group is also known as "the Christian Mafia" who stress commitment and blind obedience. (Remind you of anyone?)

One website's very disturbing "red flags" which jumped out (from some of their "lower-level" followers) are:

They say they are "in Christ" rather than "Christian."

They see their "Christ as everywhere and nowhere."

They pray to "be nothing."

They pray to "soften our hearts to authority."

They see the Old Testament for "what it is, a bear lying in wait."

They pray for "Christ's kingdom to be built cell by cell."

They see themselves, not as a "Christians" but as "believers - soldiers in the Army of God."

They say that "religion distracts people from Jesus."

They believe in a covenant: "Jesus plus nothing."

Doug Coe (who is in his late 70s) has said that the group's mission is to create a world wide "family of friends" by spreading the words of Jesus to those in power.

Evidently, Hillary Clinton joined this Washington "bible study" group 15 years ago (in 1993) and has "ascended to the most elite cell" in the group. They say that's where she may have adopted the phrase, "It takes a village."

There is so much more information, for anyone who wants to do the research.

I bought the e book "Don'tDrinkthe Kool-aid". I knew most of the stuff in it (about Oprah's NA preaching, Marianne Williamson, Eckhart Tolle, etc.). Anyone who frequently visits Slice of Laodicea, Lighthouse Trails, and Berit Kjos websites will not be surprised by it. It's a good introduction for friends who don't follow these trends and watch Oprah uncritically. I plan to send my copy to a friend who has been faithfully warning others about Oprah. I think it might help her efforts - well documented quotes in their own words.

Or else it is available on the MSNBC website. Just click on "Brian Williams" or search the site for "Inside the Beltway Fellowship". My take on the segment is, it seems to be an attempt to create an "equal-time" negative "religious" picture of a pastor-figure in Hillary's life like what was done several weeks ago in regard to the leader of Obama's church. Take a look at this March 21, 2008 CBS News article titled, "Hillary's Nasty Pastorate"

There is one other New Age affiliation that Hillary has. Her involvement in New Age circles of education reform via serving on the board of the National Alliance for Restructuring Education (NARE) put her in close association with the National Buisness Roundtable and folks at the Aspen Institute as well as with Shirley McCune at the 1989 Govenors' gatherings. The "village concept" was on display at that event. Hillary had drunk the kool-aid by then.

Thanks Rudi, for the reminder to check out Farmer's blog. Like so much of the info posted here, it made my head spin. But then I realized all this "new" information only confirms the Planetary Citizens/ Lucis Trust/Madame B. anti-God theosophical foundation of all things NA. All these countless “new” tracts, connections, and NGO’s are merely old lies repackaged and re-amplified, with a deadly singularity of purpose.

"The gullibility of the average citizen, his willingness to accept what is told him if it is said loudly enough and with sufficient force is well-known.
Mass psychology and mob determination have been exploited down the age....
But this negative receptivity can be easily turned to good ends as bad."
[The Spiritual Hierarchy, Lucis Trust, 1982, p.8]

One has to be amazed at the ingenious methods and creative ways these folks keep coming up with new ways to redefine “good”. Bent, twisted and rebellious minds can be quite creative in how they market their hatred towards God and those who trust in Him.

I was reading the "Swastika and the Rainbow" this morning. Is old info for most of you, but brought things back into perspective for me.

Hi Rudi - it was Farmer's brilliant blog (thanks Farmer) that led me off in this direction. There was so much info and stuff going on that I needed to try and latch on to stuff that I could understand and look out for, that might crop up in my locality. I then headed off in the 'peace poles' direction and became incresingly concerned as I could see how young people were getting sucked in with poles and flag ceremony stuff.

Does anyone know if these peace poles hark back in any way to 'asheroth' poles as mentioned in our OT? I noticed too on my surfing travels that there are 'genessa' (?) crystals that can be made to sit on top of these poles and 'intensify their powers' - as if!!! :O :)

I found the video at Goi particularly disturbing as they say they need to reach a 'critical mass' stage ... it's possible that as they mention this that they may believe it is well within their reach now and hence the concerted outreach effort in a multitude of areas???

Thank God, that we all have each other to share information and compare notes so we can remain "on the same page."

But, do any of you out there experience personal frustration trying to convince members of your own family, certain friends, or a few "confused" fellow church members of the dangers of the New Age Movement?

The New Age / Paradigm Shift has infiltrated and is trying to corrupt ALL religious organizations (whether they be Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Jewish, etc.)

As this "paradigm shift to divine consciousness" spreads all over the world, I find myself praying to my ONE TRUE GOD, not just on a daily basis, but on an HOURLY basis -- and, not out of fear (my faith gives me peace of mind), but rather in asking for the following:

My prayer . . .

Dear God the Father, please bring our loved ones out of their "confused state" of spiritual darkness so they will be converted before it is too late. Wrap us all up in a "spiritual suit of armor" and continue to give us all the necessary strength to be soldiers of Christ in fighting this battle between good and evil. In Jesus' name - Amen.

An evil seed producing an evil harvest.
I also noted that one of the “Leading Pioneer Organizations” on the list as a 'partner' of Ervin Laszio’s World Shift Network is “The World Parliament of Clowns”. I kid you
Not. I thought at first it couldn’t REALLY mean “clowns”, but it does.

“The world is in a state of chaos. Yet clowns are not afraid: chaos is their element. Through creativity and spontaneity they can alter chaos and make it loose its destructive nature. The world is in a state of chaos, and every clown in the world has a duty to bring it back to a state of creative harmony – with the help of the wisdom of time and the “eyes of a child” – the clown’s unique point of view. With wisdom and a smile, the World Parliament of Clowns – an initiative originated by some of the most celebrated clowns of our time – will try to re-stabilize our unbalanced ME-driven, business-oriented world, and bring it back to the solid grounds of reality, in harmony with the initial, spiritual WE-world.”

Rudi- The clown-chaos thing is an interesting bit of research. The linkage of clowns to the global uprising movement comes to mind. The Clown Army is active at G8 events as in Scotland last summer. I always thought it a convenient way to disquise personal identity when engaging in major civil disturbances. But there is probably some type of "evolutionary spirituality" defining it. Chaos theory in the NA (think Dee Hock) always is a pre-condition for the evolutionary jump via creative cultural initiatives. If clowns act as cultural creatives, they would do so in chaotic environments. Further links the global protests to the NA.

Just came back from looking at the link Rudi supplied. Observations: "May peace prevail on earth" is adapted from THE GREAT INVOCATION by Alice Bailey. It is also used by the "Peace Pole Foundation." I have had people respond to me with blank stares (and this with presenting "easy facts" like Oprahs radio show...etc and not overwhelming them) to angry responses, to very good friends who have known me for years and know that I have a 'sound mind', privately asking my husband if I am crazy (again, with only presenting fairly 'easy facts' and not overwhelming them with all the background of the occult that is behind it all)to outright hostile anger ( and when I question as to why and what particular fact is the most distressing...they can't answer) It is amazing as it is begining to be so easy to see the NA in all aspects of life...I can't imagine what Constance must have gone through back in the 80's. Slowly I have been able to turn a few who responded with anger around to see more clearly and then there are those who have seen the truth and just pretend as if it is not happening and shrug their shoulders and say...well there is nothing to do about it. I have been successful with about 10% so far...

Oooo errr ... I'm obviously quite green around the gills about NA influence in corporate places! I came across this snippet of info ... the IMF has a peace pole presented to them a few years ago by Goi.

http://tinyurl.com/3uekch

It's an interesting link with reference to Goi's interest in young people, quote ...

"Mrs. Saionji's focus on Children as Peacemakers reminded me of an historic speech given by Václav Havel. When Eastern and Central Europe emerged from over 40 years of often brutal repression, the dissident playwright Václav Havel became President of Czechoslovakia. In his inaugural address, he expressed wonderment and surprise at the enthusiasm of the young people who took to the streets and toppled the creaking dictatorship."

To Anonymous 2:59 AM . . .

I know exactly what you mean about people "responding with blank stares."

I have a dear friend who I've know for 15 years. She wasn't raised with any religious background in her early formative years, but her actions in her daily life have shown that she has a very "pure heart" and a tremendous capacity for loving others. In recent years, she has "discovered" spirituality and actually believes that because actual quotes from scripture are used, that she has achieved a "higher spiritual place" over traditional "fanatical" Christians.

Like you, I have been gently treading softly to try to educate her about the New Age Movement. Three weeks ago, she sent out a group e-mail on "Spirituality vs. Religion." One of the differences listed was how "Spirituality teaches unconditional love and religion has "conditions" (Oh, you mean like consequences for your actions, maybe?) The other differences listed were much harsher and unfair, to say the least.

I decided to respond rather strongly with an e-mail reply, a portion of which I am sharing below:

The reality is that this New Age Movement (often referred to a "Spirituality") isn't "new" at all, but goes all the way back to the time of Adam & Eve, when Satan (appearing in the form of a serpent) tempted and convinced Eve that if she ate of that apple, she would be "like God" and would "surely never die."

The basic New Age philosophy tries to convince people to buy into this "big lie" . . . "I am God; you are God . . . "the God within" . . . and ultimately denying the very divinity of Jesus, reducing Him to nothing more than a prophet who lived on earth more than 2,000 years ago!!!

Jesus even warned us that this would happen: "Ye shall be seduced by flatteries."

Anyway, as a result of my e-mail reply to her, she hasn't spoken to me in over 3 weeks. So much for "unconditional love" from those professing that Spirituality is superior to traditional Christianity. But, I will continue to pray for her and hope that our friendship is not down the drain. I also know that she is smugly thinking to herself how unfortunately pathetic I am for still believing the "fairy tale" that Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden even existed in the first place!!! (I am laughing through my tears, but my heart is breaking over not being able to get through to her.)

Clowns are no joke. In nearly every culture, clowns, comedians, aka the “fools” of society, have extraordinary influence. Using any method they choose, from slap stick humor to profane humiliation, ridicule, impersonation, exaggeration, etc., they can alter the perceptions, direction, and behavior of a society. In Hopi ceremonial culture for example, clowns are highly esteemed, even feared, because they correct behavior by exposing hypocrisy and publicly rebuking those they choose to target with their antics.

Late night television devotees love Lettermen and Leno because they target people in positions of influence and authority who by their behavior have proven themselves anything but "holier than thou".

As far as Disney goes, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the occult connections. My kids were not allowed to watch his flicks. As Paul noted earlier, they, (we), are known by our fruits.

If Quigley is correct in his book Tragedy and Hope, it's the middle class that is set to disappear. There will only be an upper class and a lower class, their worker bees.

Then again I've yet to find any New Agers who think things through. They are too busy using their "hearts", "souls" and emotions to find time to use their brains.

You wrote about a small Christian(?) network and that makes sense. There is evidence for other power networks in action. Homosexual, Christian, Theosophical, Jewish (and I'm Jewish but recognize this), Islamic, Masonic, New Age and other smaller networks based on common interests and money. One gets invited to become a player if one has something to offer...money, position, connections.

Roughly speaking, to be part of a network one has to give up individuality and either believe or pretend to think the goals of the group are paramount.

At the bottom rungs of the New Age movement, community is provided at a very small price. One will be accepted by lowering any barriers where others are concerned and putting all analysis and judgments on hold. It's a deal many are willing to make as they find New Age followers around themselves on a day to day basis.

The goals of those at the top of the networks are not researched by the lower level followers who are encouraged to follow emotionally rather than using their brains.

It is extremely hard to analyze what is going on through the brief comments here. All we can really do is point out that something is occurring that is detrimental to a sense of a good community with a strong future.

I was glad to see that Oprah's views are getting analyzed and the results viewed by so many people. Oprah chooses her guests. She doesn't have people on who challenge the community view she wants others to accept, so she comes across like a good person. It's a trick that the New Age community uses over and over again. They never have to show how intolerant they can be when someone tries to point out their errors.

About Oprah picking her guest -- you are absolutely correct. This is why it is noteworthy who and what she promotes.

She promotes a specific show, product, idea, or person for a specific purpose. I look at Dr. Phil as an extension of her power as well.

On the same note. After church today, I was going to mention that Oprah video on Youtube. Turns out I didn't have to. He has been teaching on 2 Tim 3. He brought it up in his sermon.

So there may have been people there that heard for the first time about Oprah and the New Age movement.

I have noticed something about Oprah just lately . . . how very unhappy she seems despite her tremendous wealth and celebrity power.

On Friday's show, she broke down supposedly over being reminded about her dog who had died, but I am wondering if it isn't something more. Maybe she is receiving a lot of negative mail since "A Course in Miracles" began. Word seems to be spreading well beyond Constance's website (as well as other websites and church group discussions). Is it possible that increasing numbers of people are slowly waking up and getting the message (and not the "messge" Oprah wants them to receive)???

We can only hope and pray.

An excerpt taken from "The Divinity of Man" by Warren Smith -
"The Great Heretical Idea:
Oprah & Eckhart Do the New Age Shift" (Part III)(www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, ‘Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” (Matthew 24:4-5)

But if we are all “Christ” as Eric Butterworth, Oprah Winfrey, Eckhart Tolle and the New Age teach, then what is Jesus warning about in the Bible when he says:

“Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and they shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth; behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.” (Matthew 24:23-26)

If we are all “Christ” then how can there even be false Christs? It makes no sense for Jesus to warn of false Christs if everyone is “Christ.” It is very clear that Jesus is not telling everyone to “awake” and “shift” to the “Christ within,” but to beware of those who tell you to do that – to beware of Oprah Winfrey, Eckhart Tolle, Marianne Williamson and anyone else who teaches that we are all “Christ.”

Constance, I think we need to be cautious with our phrases to avoid teaching doctrinal error. We don't know yet if our Lord bled and died for Hillary or any other person specifically, since that accomplishes forgiveness of sins and reconciliation to the Father. It does not appear that Hillary has been reconciled to the Father, and we currently don't know if she ever will be. If anyone is confused by this, please study Limited Atonement and the Doctrines of Grace. God Bless...

I have to take issue with the previous "poster" and agree with Constance's original evaluation.

Jesus Christ died for ALL mankind (whether it be a Hillary . . . or a Hitler). It is up to each and every one of us, who have been given a FREE WILL, to choose which path we will take in life.

Also, it is very dangerous to presume to know exacty what is in Hillary's heart. ONLY God has that knowledge . . . and only God knows the final outcome!!!

As long as a person has a breath left in his/her body, there is a chance for redemption and, thus, forgiveness.

To Rudi and Paul, I again suggest, for your own great joy - study Total Depravity, Limited Atonement and the Doctrines of Grace. Of course we have free will, but that does not mean we have "absolute liberty". Free Will only means that we are allowed to make choices as we see fit. As humans we always make choices based on what we most want at the moment. We are spiritually dead at birth, and the Bible says that we cannot please God in the flesh, and God said that we constantly put Him out of our minds and that our thoughts were only evil continually. Please study the book of Romans.

You said "Also, it is very dangerous to presume to know exacty what is in Hillary's heart. ONLY God has that knowledge . . . and only God knows the final outcome!!!

To that I agree, and it does not affect what I had stated.

The Word states "all those appointed" to salvation believed, not the other way around.

Not trying to start an argument, but just suggesting that you do yourself a favor and read "Chosen By God" by R.C. Sproul. Many questions and seeming contradictions will be cleared up and your joy as a Christian will greatly increase. Praise God for His great Salvation and ALSO His Sovereignty.

NEW YORK -- Ted Turner formed a $200 million partnership Tuesday with Lutherans and Methodists to fight malaria, apologizing for his past criticism of religion as he announced the effort.

Turner, 69, said he had only made a few disparaging comments a long time ago and that he is “always developing” his thinking as he grows older....

That's refreshing news to hear about Ted Turner.

I remember about 8 years ago, when Jane Fonda filed for divorce from Ted Turner . . . he said that their marriage broke up partly because of her decision to become a Christian. He had told The New Yorker in an interview: "She just came home and said, 'I've become a Christian.' Before that she was not a religious person. That's a pretty big change for your wife of many years to tell you. That's a shock."

It just goes to prove that anyone can change!!!

If you liked the reference to Shirley McCune and the Ascended Master Disney, you should see "The Temple Notes" which were found in the Washington State Archives in 2003 by a researcher investigating a federal education project headed by McCune. The Temple Notes, written by McCune, outline a plan using lottery money to build a pyramid shaped building in the Southwest to serve the Masters. Initiates and adepts would train there. The AM Koothumi known as KH guided McCune. Materials and dimensions are spelled out in the notes which were written on a yellow legal pad along with notes for the Washington State Assessment of Learning (WASL) exams. McCune continues to work on the education systems of the state via her job as Federal Liason and a member of the Bergeson management team in the Office of the Superintendant of Instruction, the state ed agency. I am certain of the authenticity of this because I have seen the original letter confirming the notes had been inadvertantly archived, as they were "personal" and belonged to McCune. The confirming letter was sent to the researcher who stumbled over the Notes came from OSPI. The letter and the Temple Notes are online. I spent a great deal of time looking at McCune and her education work. She connects to a significant network of education agencies. She is nearing her mid-seventies now, but works on, close to the policy making and Koothumi. There is so much shocking history with McCune, it would take pages to relate it all. Her boss Terry Bergeson is another one of the keys to the NA.

Dear Anonymous,

You said "You still gave the impression that you were passing judgement on Hillary in your previous comments of 12:25 when you stated:
"It does not appear that Hillary has been reconciled to the Father, and we currently don't know if she ever will be." How can you possibly presume to KNOW that? Either way, this is between Hillary and God . . . not between YOU and Hillary!"

My response:
I used the word "appears". God's word says that we are to judge the spirits, and it also says the spiritual man judges all things. Whe I use the word "appears" I am not making a final judgement on Hillary's salvation - I obviously realize that is only God's place. But what is undeniable is that Hillary shows no outward evidence, or appearance, of being a Christian. If you read up on her you will see this. So I did not presume to "know" anything, except to know the outward evidence that she exhibits. And although it is between Hillary and God, it is important for us to know her motivations and beliefs if we are to make a judgement about her qualifications for President of our country. I don't know about you, but I still prefer a genuine Christian to lead our country, not an Oprah-type "Christian" who still has talks with Eleanor Roosevelt and new-age practictioners for advice. This country is in desperate need of Christians who will use discernment. Why do you think our country is in the mess that it's in right now? Because the so-called Christian majority in this country has, for many decades, filled hundreds of seats in Washington with folks who claim to be one thing, when they are actually something else.

You seem a little overly-argumentative. At the ranch I work on we usually send boys like you out to mend the fences at the edges of the ranch. A little time alone usually cures that urge to argue. How are you with barbed-wire?

Want to really know what "The Secret" is based upon?

Rhonda Byrne [Gnostic, New Age/New Thought Movement] Author of “The Secret” http://www.thesecret.tv/

Byrne’s book and the movie of the same name “The Secret” use the ancient Kabbalah [The Jewish “Tree of Knowledge”] and Masonic “mystical” secret teachings. As written in many Masonic philosophers the “Great Architect of the Universe” or “the god of light” is in fact Lucifer/Satan.

In a voice over, producer Rhonda Byrne says, "I can't believe all the people who knew this; they were the greatest people in history," referring to them as "past secret teachers." The people identified include: Hermes Trismegistus, Buddha, Aristotle, W. Clement Stone, Plato, Isaac Newton, Martin Luther King Jr., Carl Jung, Victor Hugo, Henry Ford, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Robert Collier, Winston Churchill, Andrew Carnegie, Joseph Campbell, Alexander Graham Bell, and Ludwig van Beethoven.

According to the author THIS book is pragmatical, not philosophical; a practical manual, not a treatise upon theories. It is intended for the men and women whose most pressing need is for money; who wish to get rich first, and philosophize afterward....

Hannel [Mason] is one among many authors that were inspired by the nineteenth century's growing interest in esoteric philosophy and practical mysticism that spread throughout Europe and America. Some of the individuals (R. W. Emerson, Thomas Troward, W.W. Atkinson, James Allen, etc.) referenced or quoted in Hannel's work reveal his influences and links to the broader inter-connected movements, including the Transcendental and New Thought Movements.

The 19th century also saw the founding of both the Theosophical Society and the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn [Masonic], notable occult groups that explored the metaphysical laws of the Universe and eventually contributed (along with the other movements) to the current so-called "New Age Movement" with its Neo-Paganism and modern "magic".

The most successful method to manipulate and control society is the Hegelian Dialectic, named after its originator Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770-1831).

It has been used by Karl Marx [Mason] and Frederick Engels [Mason] to support their theory of communism. The dialectic process as described by Hegel can be reduced to three parts: a recursive pattern of thesis, antithesis, and synthesis.

The thesis (each idea) is opposed by its anti-thesis and reconciled with the thesis in a synthesis (consensus), which in turn becomes a new thesis opposed by anti-thesis.

Hegel said that history was nothing but the expression of this flux of conflicting and resolving ideas. Since every synthesis is the thesis of a new dialectic, social change is guaranteed. The process continues until society reaches the Absolute Idea: the ultimate synthesis, giving rise to no anti-thesis. In the context of this document, the "Absolute Idea" is world government…

…Due to the factors stated above, it is important that the public be made aware of the true nature of the Bailey "theology." Using the writings of the founder of the New Age theology, a theology that is purposely disguised through application of code words, it is shown in this article that this theology is, in all of its variations, absolutely occult in character and leads to one of the most evil forms of demonic possession. This theology is designed to prepare humankind for the "appearance," in one form or another, of the Antichrist. Some of the actual methods used to produce such demon possession are discussed. It is established that the true leader of the New Age movement, Bailey's god, is the Scripturally defined Adversary (Satan) and that the "prayer" entitled "The Great Invocation" is actually a satanic invocation designed to call forth the Antichrist.

The safest way to avoid any such demon controlled individuals or organizations is to reject all statements made by any individual or organization that do not follow explicitly the literal word of God as stated in the Scriptures. Then, due to the ingenious methods often used, one also needs to obtain, exactly as stated within the Scriptures, the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. Then one needs to apply Holy Ghost verification as discussed in my article “I Am An Apostolic” to determine the exact spiritual intent of any such individual or organization.

The World's "Most Dangerous" Spiritual Guru: Oprah Begins 10-Week Online New Age Class By John Jalsevac

March 7, 2008 (LifeSiteNews. com) - This past Monday Oprah Winfrey, considered by many to be the world's most influential woman, began a ten-week long online course on the best-selling book, "A New Earth," by New Age guru, Eckhart Tolle. "A New Earth" has already sold some 3.5 million copies worldwide, thanks largely to the publicity given to it by Oprah. According to Oprah,500,000 people from across the world signed on to the first segment of the online course, to spend an hour and a half listening to Ekhart and Oprah talking about chapter 1 of the book, and taking calls from participants.

In recent years Oprah has been inviting an increasing number of representatives of new age spirituality onto her talk shows, including figures such as Marianne Williamson, Barbara De Angelis, La Var Burton, Richard Carlson, Betty Eadie, and many others. Oprah has strongly endorsed many of their works, and has included some of them in her "Book Club" list.

Since the beginning of this year, Oprah has offered daily classes on her XM radio station on the book "A Course in Miracles." "A Course in Miracles" (or ACIM for short) was written by another major player in the New Age movement, Helen Schucman, who claims that the book was dictated to her by an interior voice, which she identifies with Jesus Christ. In that course, the listener is taught that there is no sin, is told not to make the "mistake" of" clinging to the old rugged cross," and that the name of "Jesus Christ as such is but a symbol."

Oprah, who is a self-labeled" Christian" , was recently named the "most dangerous woman in the world" by Bill Keller, considered by some to be the world's leading Internet evangelist. He accused Oprah of peddling the equivalent of "spiritual crack." Keller has been warning the subscribers of his Daily Devotional for years about Oprah and how she uses her TV program to promote every New Age philosophy in the world, including the wildly popular book and DVD last year, "The Secret," which teaches readers or viewers that simply by desiring them strongly enough, one may obtain wealth, health and happiness.

However, rarely has Oprah shown more enthusiasm for a New Age guru than for the so-called Eckhart Tolle, who takes his first name from the well-known 13th century Catholic Rhineland mystic, Meister Eckhart. Tolle is the author of several books including "The Power of Now," and, most recently, "A New Earth."

Much like many other New Age systems, Eckhart's "spirituality" is a vague, ethereal blend of spiritual theories and ideas, gleaned from all of the world's major religions. Eckhart promises the attainment of "inner peace" and a higher state of consciousness by utilizing methods of meditation that plunge one into the
"now." He also says that mankind is in a moment of crisis, in which the race must either achieve the next stage in its evolution by attaining "higher consciousness" , or destroy itself and the planet.

The title of his newest book, "A New Earth," is taken from Chapter 21 from the Book of Revelations, in which the Biblical visionary says that he "saw a new heaven and a new earth." Throughout his newest book Eckhart sprinkles quotations from Scripture, and he frequently speaks about Christ and Scripture in his talks.

The core of Eckhart's teaching is a religious relativism, in which he eschews all rigid doctrine or exclusive claims to truth as dangerous and manifestations of "egoiic consciousness."

"The moment you say 'only my belief' or 'our belief' is true, and you deny other people's beliefs, then you've adopted an ideology," Eckhart told the participants in Monday's online class. "And then religion becomes a closed door."

Eckhart explains away conscience and feelings of guilt as but the consequence of years of conditioning. He told one caller, who confessed that she still feels guilt when she decides against going to church on Sunday, that she must recognize that "the voice" which tells her to go to church is simply the result of social conditioning.

One caller into the show told Oprah that she was a Catholic, and was having trouble seeing how Eckhart's teachings could be reconciled with her Catholicism. Oprah responded that the caller must simply realize that Christianity is but one of many ways to achieve the "higher consciousness, " and that the belief that one must follow a set of doctrines is a consequence of "egoiic consciousness. " While Christianity is a valid way to achieve high states of spirituality, it must not be considered a unique way, or a "correct way".

"Jesus," said Oprah, "came to show us Christ-consciousness…Jesus came to show us the way of the heart…Jesus came to say, 'Look I'm going to live in the body, in the human body and I'm going to show you how it's done.' These are some principles and some laws that you can use to live by to know that way"

She concluded, "I don't believe that Jesus came to start Christianity."

"What Jesus said is much deeper than what you, how the church interprets it. There's a depth to it. And it reflects your own depth when you read it. So there's no conflict between this teaching, which is purely spiritual, and any religion."

Oprah also indicated that there are many names that one might give to that which she calls "God", including" energy, " "consciousness" and "life."

Oprah also contrasted what she called the "old" spirituality vs. the "new" spirituality, as espoused by Eckhart. "The old way is the hierarchy has the authority. Church authorities tell you how to worship in church and how to behave outside of church. The new spirituality is that you are your own best authority as you work to know and love yourself, you discover how to live a more spiritual life."

Despite Oprah and Eckhart's reduction of Christianity to but one "way" amongst many other equally legitimate ways to God, and their calling Christ a "revolutionary"
who has been misunderstood by the Church, and who simply came to manifest "Christ-consciousness", a quick search through the internet reveals that many Christians are following Oprah in attempting to fuse together the teachings of Eckhart, and the doctrines of the historical Christian church.

One writer on the message board on Oprah's website wrote a message with the subject line, "Scared I'm replacing my religion, which I love." "I just started the book" she wrote, "and I love the idea of the book but I guess the question I keep repeating in my head is will this be replacing my religion? How do the two work together.

Can someone please help ease my mind that I'm not turning on the lord." Many of the respondents to the questioner confessed that they too had similar misgivings about the book, but "upon reflection", realized that Tolle draws from numerous Christian sources, and that he and Oprah were giving them a "deeper understanding" of their faith.

However, Keller, and a number of other Christian pastors have begun to actively warn Christians that Oprah and Eckhart's teachings are by no means compatible with Christianity. "Oprah is now trying to be the spiritual guru to this nation," said Keller in an appearance on Fox. "Sadly, she is being used as a tool of Satan to lead millions of souls to hell with her false teachings."

Another pastor, James A. Smith Sr., writing in the Florida Baptist Witness, criticized Oprah's "spirituality" for its emphasis on the power of the individual to define truth and reality, and to totally control one's own life. "What this fails to acknowledge is that man dos not define reality; man does not determine what truth is," wrote
Smith. "The source of truth for our decisions and power is the one true God of all reality and He has communicated plenary propositional truths to us in the Bible and remarkably, uniquely in His incarnation in Jesus Christ.

"Oprah, as with other New Agers, is not in pursuit and in communion with God."

WorldNetDaily columnist Chuck Norris, wrote about Oprah and The New Earth, "The reason Tolle's psychology and spirituality is marketed so easy is that it is an eclectic mix of conventional and unconventional wisdom, and Western and Eastern beliefs, presented in a tolerant, non-threatening, and non-sectarian way. In other words, it's 'Religion Light,' in which one can be spiritual with 'little down and no credit.'"

Norris recommended that his readers simply sit down and read a Bible, rather than "A New Earth." "One could easily save the purchase price of 'A New Earth' and subsequently avoid misleading remarks by reading a Bible, which gives a much more thorough and accurate picture of life's purpose and methods for over coming its obstacles," said Norris.

I would say that YOU are the one who is "overly argumentative."

I started out debating you, because I wanted to defend Constance's evaluation of Hillary.

The discussion was not about whether we were VOTING for Hillary, but rather giving her the benefit of the doubt as far as the future of her immortal soul.

So, I will stress my point once again that ONLY GOD KNOWS what Hillary's final spiritual outcome will be. Neither you, nor I, nor anyone else has the right to pass judgement on her. As long as Hillary has a breath left in her body, she has the same opportunity as everyone to seek forgiveness, reconciliation, and redemption.

The last time I checked MY Bible, Jesus said, "Judge not lest ye be judged."

So, maybe it is YOU that needs some alone time "to mend fences at the ranch."

Actually, I do fine "with barbed wire." After all, I am talking to YOU, aren't I?

How arrogrant of you to assume that if anyone has the nerve to question something that YOU say, that they need to be "cured."

The only thing I need to be "cured" of is my impatience with your arrogance!!!

Excerpt from "The Great Heritical Idea: Oprah and Eckhart Do The New Age Shift" (Part II) . . .

But, contrary to what Oprah and Tolle state, New Age beliefs can not be reconciled to biblical Christianity. The Bible makes it very clear that Jesus Christ came to the world as Messiah – the one and only Christ. He did not come to teach humanity to "shift" from the "ego" to their "inner Christ."

What Oprah, Tolle and all other New Age/New Spirituality leaders seem to overlook in their discussion of the ego is that the absolute, ultimate ego trip for man to believe that he is God. When you "shift," you are not leaving the ego at all! Setting up God in your own heart, you make a mockery of the one true God. Claiming the title of "God" and "Christ" for himself, man succumbs to the original beguiling by the Devil in the Garden of Eden that "ye shall be as gods."

Jesus Christ taught "that which is born of the flesh is flesh; that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6). He said, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). He said, "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again" (John 3:7). Being born again means accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, not accepting yourself as "God" and shifting to a nonexistent "Christ within." Accepting yourself as "Christ" is not being born again. It is to fall into the very deception the real Jesus Christ warned us to beware of in Matthew 24:4-5:

"Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

Regarding the lengthy ANON 6:35 post….

It’s a trust thing.

In order to open and view “The Secret” movie, one must view the trailer first. In order to view the trailer, one is required to authorize the Vivadas player download. The pop up asks, “Do you want to trust the signed applet distributed by Vividas USA Inc?”

The obvious answer, at least for me, was, “Yes”, I really would like to trust Vividas. Why wouldn’t I? But then again, I realized I knew absolutely nothing about this company and had no clue as to what they were really asking me to agree to. So I decided to do a little checking before ignorantly clicking the “yes” button.

In order to view “The Secret” movie trailer, the user (me or you) agrees to accept an internet tracking cookie. That’s really no big deal. Dozens, if not hundreds of tracking cookies are placed on each individual web user’s computer DAILY. I decided to try and skip the trailer and clicked the link where one can download the entire “Secret” movie. A Vividas pop up explained that such a leap was not okay, “Please play the trailer so that I can make sure this computer and Internet connection are working perfectly.” I found it interesting that the Vivadis pop up would use the term “I”, as if some actual person was communicating with me and not some automatic computer generated message. But that’s just clever marketing, right?

Call me paranoid, but after investigating what Google is capable of doing, I’ve plenty of reasons to doubt the benign nature of the hands trying to reach into my computer whenever I use a search engine, visit certain websites, or try to view a web file.

I decided to look a little closer at the Vivadas privacy policy. Anyone who has watched “The Secret” movie trailer has accepted these terms:

“Vividas reserves the right to set and access Vividas cookies on your computer and to authorize the advertisers on the Vividas site to set and access their cookies on your computer.”

“Vividas treats any Personal Information that may be contained in cookies with the same confidentiality as other Personal Information you provide to Vividas. No Liability for Acts of Third Parties Although Vividas will use reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of the Personal Information you submit, transmissions made by means of the Internet cannot be made absolutely secure. VIVIDAS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION AND DATA YOU SUBMIT TO IT DUE TO ERRORS IN TRANSMISSION, UNAUTHORIZED ACTS OF THIRD PARTIES OR THROUGH THE USE OF THIRD PARTY COOKIES, PROGRAMS, ROUTINES, VIRUSES OR OTHER DEVICES ON YOUR COMPUTER. Once you leave the Vividas Sites, including by clicking on links on such sites, you will be subject to the privacy policies of third party website operators and other companies which may differ significantly from this policy. Vividas encourages you to be aware of when you leave the Vividas Sites and to read the privacy policies of each website that collects information from or about you.”

No worries. “Thawte Consulting “ has provided the SSL certification for the Vividas download. So…..you ask, who is Thawte? (Pronounced “thought”). Well, Thawte is a subsidiary of Verisign, one of the largest internet infrastructure providers in the world. Verisign is a world leader in developing state of the art technology designed for “Consumer Identity and Profile Management”. Thawte’s motto tells us all we need to know, “It’s a trust thing.”

I decided not to watch the movie. Let me know if it has a happy ending.

After reading oldmanofttheski's comment I have this question.

When Micro Effect moved to PalTalk, 2 people I know from the old MicroEffect chat room told me that Paltalk has a reputation for hi risk concerning virus infection. Since they knew a lot more about computers than I do, and me being a prodigy paranoid, I deleted all the paltalk programs off my computer so as not to take any chances of getting a virus from them. Unfortunately this has prevented me from listening to the broadcasts and participating in the chat room.
So my big question is have any of you experienced any virus infestation from your use of PalTalk? Any opinions or comments on the risk factor would be GREATLY appreciated. I am very computer illiterate, and would like to get back to the chat and program. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m no computer expert either. I do have a friend that with a little work can send an email to anyone posting here from my email address without me knowing it. Meaning, internet security is a joke. You (we) are all identified electronically and that identity is vulnerable to theft and misuse.

As a side note, but somehow related…

My wireless mouse was acting up this week. Replacing the batteries, moving the USB receiver, even banging it on the desk (my solution for most computer problems) failed to make it work better. So I went down to the neighborhood Wal Mart (China town), and bought a new HP laser wireless mouse. When I tried to download the accompanying software I got all kinds of MS warning messages. Basically Microsoft said, “STOP! Downloading this software may cause your computer to stop working properly either immediately or down the road.”

Well, that’s reassuring. So I took the damn thing back to the store and got a refund. My wife asked me if I explained to the store clerk what the problem was. Of course. I told her it was infected with a horrible virus and she should probably handle it with rubber gloves. The elderly lady I handed it too looked a little worried. Anyway, to make a long story short, I came home and banged my old mouse on the desk again. It works fine now.

P.S. The anon post of 9:11 (interesting number) was me. Just foolin' with ya Paul. My apologies to Dorothy.

They are about GMO foods and Monsanto. I had never seen them before, although I knew about the controversy surrounding GMO foods. What surprised me was the patenting of the seed supply and the lawsuits against farmers. It seems unreal to me that farmers can be successfully sued in this manner. It is so shockingly unfair, it's difficult to believe this is an accurate portrayal of events. I would be interested to hear Constance's perspective since she is an attorney. The reason I post them, is the control over our food supply is perhaps more threatened than I had realized.

More from "The Great Heretical Idea: Oprah and Eckhart Do The New Age Shift" . . .

In both his book and his class with Oprah, Tolle reiterated the words that New Age leader Barbara Marx Hubbard was given by her New Age "Christ" - "evolve or die." In other words, don't feel any pressure, but if you don't "shift" your point of view, and "get it" that "we are all one" and that "we are all God," our planet will probably be destroyed and our human species will become extinct.

Tolle and Oprah stayed away from the harsher aspects of this "evolve or die" dictate in that first Internet class. Hubbard, however, has made it clear that in the future, those who refuse to make the "shift" by seeing themselves as "God" will be eliminated by something called "the selection process."

SO, MY QUESTION IS: HOW CAN ANY MOVEMENT WHICH ISSUES THIS TYPE OF "THREAT" HAVE ANY CREDIBILITY AS BEING PERCEIVED AS A MOVEMENT OF "LOVE"???

1 Corinthians 5:12:
For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?

Dear anonymous 7:26 pm and everyone else - PLEASE READ:

The very fact that you read this blog should be evidence that you are a Christian who is at least attempting to use spiritual discernment in navigating this world. But your quick use of the "Judge not" verse is very symptomatic of those groups and individuals who value "unity" and "tolerance" over truth and righteousness, and makes me question if you are just a passerby and a blog-wrecker. So, purely in the interest of God's eternal glory, I exhort each reader here to take just a moment and read chapter 5 of 1 Corinthians. It is very short and not difficult.

The 12th verse states "For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?"

We have been told for years that many candidates are Christians, at least that has been implied by the candidate's public statements of their membership in various mainline denominations. If they claim the name of Christ, then we are sinning if we do not judge according to 1 Corinthians 5. Of course if you are one of those who pick and choose certain parts of the Bible to ignore, then you have much bigger problems than who to vote for. If an individual claims Christ, we have not only the right, but the duty, to make a judgement regarding how to interact with that person and whether to recommend that person for anything. There are many wolves in sheep's clothing, and how are they to be identified if we fearfully hide behind the "Judge Not" verse?

While this may be an extreme example, do you realize that in a very big way, the mainline churches of Germany shared responsibility for bringing Hitler to power? They literally had portraits of him hanging in their churches. Let us never sink to such depths of not seeking God's wisdom in choosing our leaders, and not looking at all of the evidence at hand.

Rancher

Anonymous said...

Rancher,

your post brings to mind Romans 1: 32- that those who practice (the sinful things listed in the previous verses) are worthy of death, as are those who give hearty approval to those who practice them.

We should all be very careful of whom or what we endorse, but as to passing judgment, we must be careful not to then condemn ourselves. Hopefully all judgments lead to repentance.

Leana

Anonymous said...

Rancher,
Just a clarification from someone Jewish who posts here...me.
Part of the Christian community in Germany fought the Nazi movement because the leadership recognized the pagan element in the movement.

Then there was the organized Catholic community who proved formidable opposition to the Nazi movement but were unable to overcome it. The Catholic church has always had the belief that they must do what is necessary to survive the storms of cultural change. It's probably why the Vatican is going along with the EU now.

The third group of Christians went along with the Nazi movement for another reason. Temptation always comes with a sweetner. In this case the government had paid the way of the Protestant religion leadership, and religious strength and belief had died off, becoming rather a shell rather than a vital movement. The clergy wanted to keep their paychecks coming in so they capitulated to Nazi pressure.

Books have been written about this, but I believe this is the simplified version.

It takes a lot of human effort to overcome a temptation when there is a sweetner. Religious leaders didn't support the Nazis because they were Christian. They supported it because they valued the sweetner more than Christianity.

I didn't see much about him on wikipedia. Were his books influential? I would like to think better of my fellow humans, but I know in general people can be pretty dumb. Hclaims he and some researchers went on an expedition and met all these masters, including Jesus, yet there aren't any photos or anything to back him up. I didn't read much of it yet, and maybe I will just toss them in the wastebasket, but I note he also talks about some camera he had access to which can see all the way back to the days of Atlantis. You would think if he had this camera he would at least get a pic of himself standing there with Jesus to show his buddies. (I only spent 1.25 for the whole set, and even that, except for maybe research purposes, is too much money. I guess the books are good for a few laughs, however.)

I also believe that, unlike "New Age Spirituality," Christianity is, and shoud be, all about LOVE. If we don't set the example to "love thy neighbor as thyself," (as Jesus commanded us to do), how do we expect non-Christians to even WANT to convert to "our" side?

And, as a Christian, I am going to "turn the other cheek" and allow you to have the last word on this subject.

Dear Anonymous 8:17 pm

You are correct, I added the tag of Rancher so this thread would be easier to follow. I respect your goal of acting in love, however I don't agree that Christianity is ALL about love. In my reading of the Word, Christianity is all about God's glory, His truth, His righteousness. That glory is often made manifest in love, but it is also manifest in His justice. The Bible says God is angry with sinners every day - not just their sin - but sinners themselves. As far as I can tell, the main people that our Lord showed his anger toward were hypocrites and Pharisees. He didn't sugar-coat it and didn't worry about being tolerant or loving. I think most would agree that the most loving thing one can do is to speak the truth in love. I'm not saying that we should stop witnessing to Hillary, but that we should be as wise as serpents (Matt 10:16). As we've all seen lately, Hillary has a tendency to being deceitful. I believe in the Great Commission, and I also remember the warnings for us not to be deceived.

My prayer is that God will give both you and I more wisdom, to more brightly reflect His glory.

Just finished a Los Angeles Times article, "A Surprise: Oprah Pays A Real Cost For Supporting Barack Obama" . . . citing her nearly 20% drop in popularity recently.

However, several readers posted comments offering a different take:

"Well, don't be so sure that her support of Obama is the leading cause of Oprah's drop in popularity. Her embrace of "The Secret" and the "New Age Jesus" writings of Eckhart Tolle has alienated religious conservatives--if all those emails my 56-year-old mother keeps forwarding to me are any indication, anyway."

"I think this article is missing the effect of the "Oprah Church"--this has left a bad taste in a lot of mouths."

"I am stunned that the people who watch Oprah somehow missed the fact that she is NOT, and never in her professional life has been, a Christian. She has ALWAYS been new age . . . For me, the drop in Oprah's popularity is because of her endorsement of "The Secret" and the "New Age Jesus" writings of Eckhart Tolle. This has alienated religious conservatives--at least in my part of the world. I have since stopped watching her show."

"The real reason why Oprah's ratings have dropped so low . . . is rather due to her pushing of her new age ideologies . . . I know I, for one, have become very uncomfortable with her of late. That book she is promoting goes against Christian teachings so many of us grew up with and hold on to."

I am not sure what is up with Washington State, but our government here seems bound and determined to be on the forefront of the RFID technological boom.

I would suggest that everyone in the other states start monitoring to see if this kind of legislation is passing there too.

House bill 1031, which was signed by Govenor Gregoire at the end of March was subtly titled "An Act relating to electronic communication devices", but it really describes who and what can access your personal RFID information, when it can be scanned and by whom. Group of D.C. Christians where leaders pray together is dark, rich and powerful did research years ago. It's like an underground mafia.

I'm beginning to think McCain and who his VP (RICE?) is (Like Johnson)could be very important. Doesn't fit with Bilderberg, but we now have financial crisis, which could have changed candidates standings, he was selected by the 'media'.

Dorothy, intolerant NA'ers? Try hypocrites?

Eckhart Tolle is a unique looking guy, like who'd trust him?

TERRY BERGESON OF WA STATE? She brought in OBE? Slick willy could take lessons.

There are numerous internet reports regarding the Dalai Lama and his ties to the Nazi SS Heinrich Harrer and others. No surprise to those who know Himmler believed the lost Aryan Root stock was Tibetan. Himmler hoped to persuade the Tibetans to lead a war against the Chinese. Seems he got his wish.

Thanks very much Leana for the heads-up in regard to
House bill 1031. This bill, and the necessity of legislation of this type at this time, IMO, is additional confirmation that a Universal Human
Identification System is much closer to implementation than many
are expecting. I believe we are one global catastrophic event away from the revelation of a system already waiting in the wings.

Address
By Javier SOLANA,
EU High Representative for the CFSP
to the Committee on Foreign Affairs
of the European Parliament

Javier Solana begins his address by talking about the Western Balkans, Kosovo in particular.

“Let me say a few things about the most important matters on the international agenda today. I will start by talking about the Western Balkans. This is the most important topic on the agenda.”

He goes on to talk about the Bucharest/NATO Summit held last Thursday and Friday and it’s relationship to the EULEX (The European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo) and UNMIK (United Nations Mission in Kosovo). UNMIK, began on June 10, 1999 is described as,
“In a first-ever operation of its kind, UNMIK initially brought together four “pillars” under United Nations leadership.”

Another way to describe it is, it is the deployment of an international police force in Kosovo. The next “big issue” from Solana’s address relates to Afghanistan. Interesting to me was not so much what Solana says, but how he says it.

“Let me also say that we, collectively as Europeans, are maintaining our ESDP police mission.
It is now deployed across almost the whole of Afghanistan. … By the
end of the spring we will be fully deployed and we are already present across the country. … Let me remind you that the objective of the mission is not to train the police but to train the trainers, to organise a system, a police concept, that really is long lasting and benefits the people of Afghanistan.”

Solana goes on to speak about the Middle East, Africa, and concludes with the topic of climate change.

Thanks Rudi for Solana talk, he's protecting the poppies!

Good WA state info.

Used to live there years ago and know what you mean. Did you know about the 5,000 plus Russians living just north of the lake in Seattle who didn't speak English and took over the area? Some were into car theift. This was ten years ago. King TV sisters were big Russian supporters look up info on them, very interesting.

I'm not too surprised to hear all of this regarding Washington state, as I remember (about 20 plus years ago) hearing that much of the Pacific Northwest area of our country is a "hot bed" of New Age activity.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the very latest regarding the RFIDs.

Excellent program today!

Thank you both for your insights.

Will p/u Mexican Martyrdom.

Would love to read more of your thoughts on a post of how those books tie in with what you said Constance, "if you want to see how Armageddon will be, read these books".

Constance will be on Tonight, Friday April 11, 2008 on Dr. Monteith's at 11 eastern.

Would also like the names of those other books, Blood Altars, I think, and the Hitler one.

Thanks for the undeserved compliment.

I checked with Connie for you. Here are the names of the books which I check through Amazon and which give information on the Christian Holocaust that took place in Mexico between 1926-35, and in some of the provinces until 1938.

Mexican Martyrdom - S. J. Parsons
It looks as if another book, same title, by Wilfrid Parsons also covers this information.

The Life of Graham Green Norman Sherry probably Vol. 1 which covers the years in Mexico

Blood Drenched Altars Francis Kelley

No God Next Door Michael Kenny

Krishnamurti Reluctant Messiah
(references to Costa Rica)

Be aware as you do research that some political types attribute the killings to political change rather than a NA type effort to eliminate monotheists, but then again isn't that what we are told happened in Germany. Constance did point out on the show that the only group that took what was happening in Mexico correctly was the American Jewish Congress because they saw parallels with what was happening in Germany.

The adulation of Obama continues and is documented at this blogspot. There are new stories since I posted the link originally. It is not a normal response to a political figure. It is more like a planned propaganda program similar to that which followed another supposedly charismatic figure, and I don't mean Ron Paul. You figure out who I mean.

A guy a Slate put together above the blog. Here's a sample of his commentary.

http://www.slate.com/id/2184459/
Jan. 29, 2007: Took very few notes in class!
Feb. 5, 2007: Mastered laws governing universe!
Feb. 7, 2007: Shares ancestor with George Washington!
Feb. 9, 2007: Dug jazz when he was still a middle-schooler!
Feb. 13, 2007: Communicates (possibly) with space aliens!
Feb. 14, 2007: Better than civil rights!
April 4, 2007: Accept no substitutes.
Sept. 12, 2007: Calms turbulent Iowans!

Do I sound cynical about NA Obama? Yes.

If you miss Constance's shows, you miss valuable background on the NA movement that she hasn't shared elsewhere. Pay a few dollars to hear the archived shows if you are a serious researcher or care about how your world is being turned upsidedown by NA manipulators.

I know a lot of people are just comfortable with being good religious people, Christians or Jews. They figure they don't need to learn more. But you know what? That's just what the bottom level of NA followers think. They also don't feel they need to go out of their way to analyze what is going on.

Today on the show I suggested that those concerned about NA need to check out what is happening in person. I'm sure that shocked the same kind of people who told me in the past that they could never go into a NA bookstore for fear that their soul would be damaged.

Frankly I think we need more people who will go into the NA community and coldly analyze what is happening. See NA followers in person, pick up their literature, go hear a talk, go into a NA bookstore, watch their films, hear their talks, go into their conferences and analyze them, get on some mailing list.

Right now we have academics researching who have only a small clue as to the size of the movement. If some know more, they probably hesitate to confront the others in the academic community because they are concerned about their jobs. We have religious people who are content with where they stand but who aren't really interested in serious fighting of the NA movement. They really don't care very much about their fellow human beings who are being sucked into the NA movement. It may seem strange to say, but NA manipulators have an image that says they are more concerned about their fellow human beings than monotheists appears to be, though we know it isn't true.

It isn't enough to say "Thank you Constance." Everyone reading this should ask themselves if they are the person who could replace Constance if something happened to her.

Insight needed to understand evolution.
“The Associated Press
Fri, Apr 11, 2008 (2:42 p.m.)
A frog has been found in a remote part of Indonesia that has no lungs and breathes through its skin, a discovery that researchers said Thursday could provide insight into what drives evolution in certain species.”
Since many schools have made it (understanding evolution) a requirement for graduation, I wonder as to this need of insight. Reminds me of global warming: this need, not for insight, but to make unsubstantiated claims to scientific facts; you can add Karma and Aliens (UFOs) to that list; and “they” refer to “us” as the Flat Earth Society!

Hi Constance & Dorothy,

Thank you so much for the book information on the Catholic persecution. It is interesting how history repeats itself and very few see that it has. I am most interested in "No God Next Door" and how freemasonry's hand was in it. The original sin of pride and unbelief continues to flow in every man and is doomed to repeat history. Only Jesus can break the curse. Eccl 1:9
That which has been is what will be,
That which is done is what will be done,
And there is nothing new under the sun.

High Court to Decide if Town Must Allow New Age Monument
Pete Winn
Senior Staff Writer

(CNSNews.com) - The U.S. Supreme Court will decide next term whether a Utah city must allow a New Age religion that promotes pyramids, mummification, and sexual ecstasy to erect a monument to its beliefs on public property.

Justices agreed this week to hear a case about a Salt Lake City-based religion called Summum and whether the First Amendment allows the religion to memorialize its beliefs on a monument in a public park in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

New Age and the Supreme Court. Maybe now more people will realize how the culture here in the US has changed.

Regarding evolution versus creation
there is a wonderful book titled
"The Science of God" by Gerald
Schroeder, who is a world class
scientist. His explanation of the time
line which runs through Genesis
is a brilliant synthesis of science
and the Biblical account. It's written
for laymen but does include some
rather technical material.
If Mr Schroeder ever comes to my
town I'm going to run up and give
him a big hug because of the way
he explains the scriptures for those
of us who believe, but don't have
a PhD in physics so we feel that
we need to shut up and stay out
of the debate.
FYI: Despite the title, the book has
nothing to do with Christian Science.
The bottom line is that The Bible is
PERFECT but is not a science textbook
and isn't supposed to be.
I loaned my copy of the book out
and may never see it again so I hope
I've spelled his name correctly.

FYI . . .

While Wal-Mart pushes on in the U.S. with its branded credit cards, prepaid money cards and check cashing, it originally had grander "banking" plans for Americans. It gave these up amid outcries by domestic banks. But according to Fortune, Wal-Mart has "found a more receptive audience south of the Border. In November, Wal-Mart de México opened its first consumer bank, Banco Wal-Mart, in Toluca; the company plans to launch 80 more by the end of the year."
