So What's in Your Wallet?

Some wise words of caution from one of our blogspot participants. I agree with
him, the conveniences are nice, but the day may well come and sooner than we think that they are stripped from us. I offer you his comment as a post worthy of being a story by itself.

P.S. Be sure to tune in tomorrow at 5 p.m. Eastern Time, 2 p.m. Mountain to my internet radio version of "My Perspective." Our guest will be Prophezine's Ray Gano.

Stay tuned!
Constance

So what’s in your wallet?

While we owe a debt of gratitude to all those who are keeping track of the rise of anti-christ and the construction of his so-called “new world order”, all this information and research will be in vain if it is not used wisely? It is not sufficient to merely become aware of “the spider”, but we must also discern each and every thread of her web as well. What good will it do to reveal “the beast” if one does not also reveal the methods by which he (or she) seeks to entrap us? All of us, even now, are empowering the anti-christ system to have control over our lives. Are we addicted to our computers? Can we live without email? Are we in debt to one or more financial institutions? Do we live by the almighty debit card? Do we fear identity theft, the pollution of our credit scores, the repossession of our vehicles, homelessness, or other financial hardship so much that we will trade our very souls to maintain our comfortable lifestyles? Do we fear a terrorist bomb, a letter full of anthrax, or some other potential threat so much that we willingly trade what’s left of our already limited freedoms for the grand illusion of “peace and safety”?The mark of the beast is not something that will be forced on us, but rather it is something we will choose to accept because we are already entangled in his world. How many people think they can just live in the anti-christ’s system up to some specific point, then turn and walk away before having to make the ultimate compromise? Such thoughts are naive and dangerous! Please do not misunderstand me. I am not disparaging in any way the important work done by Constance, Rudi, or all you others out there who are busy tracking the rise of the anti-christ system. But I am beginning to question what our response should be to the information being gathered. We are to be salt and light, yes. Stupid, no.Personally, I do not promote adopting some kind of bunker mentality. We are in the world, but not of it. We should be looking up, not down. And if we who believe and trust in Christ are to suffer for our faith, so be it. But for a great many of us, our faith is weak, and from what I can see, may not be up to the challenge that is coming our way. I’ve talked to some who think that when the time comes they can escape the anti-christ’s system by moving to some remote corner of the country and survive by raising cows and chickens. They have not been keeping up with the one world government controls being put in place to “protect” our food supply from mad cow disease and potential bird flu outbreaks. I’ve talked with some who think they can move to a remote corner of Montana or Idaho and hunt elk to survive. These folks have simply not been keeping up with the wolf reintroduction program (designed to limit game stocks), nor are they aware of the massive increase in government policing powers. They also forget that millions of other gun toting American’s have a similar fantasy of becoming some kind of "Jeremiah Johnson" overnight. I am reminded of that earthly promise, “out of chaos, order”. Seems imminently significant to me.Excuse me for ranting, your responses are welcome

Thank you oldmanoftheski. You've once again provided us with a sound, serious, appropriate word for these times. I hope you don't mind, but in case some missed your comments from a previous section, they are worthy of repeating and I'll copy and paste some of them here.

"I am reminded of the old Hopi prophecy that says that "the end of this age will come when the Spider completes her web"..."Just as Constance has been informing/warning for nearly three decades, all these "diverse" groups have been busy "networking" behind the scenes, constructing a web of entrapment and deceit designed to be so all pervasive and convincing when it is finally revealed that nearly all(even the elect if it were possible) will go along with its "agenda"..."A spider's web has a vast array of nodes and links. We can identify a whole lot of personalities and organizations along the strands of this web, but we can only see a portion from any one perspective"..." Remember, the web is a trap. The Beast travels along its silky paths to any point on earth, strengthening the bonds that entangle. The Spider has to be destroyed in order to put an end to this business. But that is not our role, it is why our Lord Jesus Christ came to the earth, not just to save us from our sins, but to put that "Beast" in her place. Our business is to persevere, to keep our faith, to awaken as many of our brethern as possible, speak out in our churches, write books, lecture, pray for guidance, prepare our families, help others see and avoid the trap laid by our adversary. Remember the battle is already won, our victory has been assured, "See, I tell you even beforehand"."

Thanks again -Rudi

I too thank you oldmanofthesky and Rudi for those wise comments and the advice of them, but most of all I thank our precious Lord Jesus because He told us all those years ago exactly how it would be - so none of us need get anxious nor fret about any of these things coming on the earth. As we see the "chess pieces" being moved around the board - just remember that "Faithful is he that calleth you, who will also do it." 1 Thess. 5 24.

6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10 Hast not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. Rev. 12.10

Most of you know these verses; Satan would have been right if in verse 8 “perfect and upright” did not define Job; well “perfect and upright” neither define our world, the US citizen, or even the church. “When I return will I find faith on the earth?” Jesus, some would say, was asking a rhetorical question. With the notion of “personal peace and prosperity” reigning, the number one important thing of concern with our youth is “FAME”, G.W. in Israel claiming peace will happen if both sides will give; meaning Israel give-up, since we know that the other side has never given anything. Hillary on the verge of running, or rather ruining this country, because so many of us want exactly what is stated in the featured blog.
I’ve said it many times: Our God is one of precipices, but He says: “do not fret.”

Right on Constance, you are wise to post oldmanoftheski's post on your site!!!
Thank you for not only being a great researcher but also a prudent watch(man) woman.

Thanks, Constance, for posting my rant. And for the kind responses from others, I am humbled.

However, please allow me to amend my original post. I do not want to leave the impression that I think the “mark of the beast”, whatever that turns out to be, is merely intended for economic, social, or political control. No, those are only steps along the path to enslavement. So no one need give up their debit cards, at least not yet.
The purpose of the mark, as revealed in the totality of the scriptures, is “ownership”, the intent of which is to secure “worship”. The mark therefore, cannot simply be some random pin number, bar code, or other identifier that is unique to each individual, but must also have a universally consistent component personally symbolic of the beast and of his name.

Our ability to buy and sell is not the issue. The issue is allegiance, with the act of "worship" being the inward and outward manifestation of one’s eternal spiritual choice. I believe most people who post here understand that.

With that in mind, I went to our friends at Wikipedia for the definition of the word, “worship”, since it would be good to keep it fresh in our minds as we watch this years global events unfold.

Worship usually refers to specific acts of religious praise, honour, or devotion, typically directed to a supernatural being such as God, a god or goddess. It is the informal term in English for what sociologists of religion call cultus, the body of practices and traditions that correspond to theology.
Religious worship may be performed individually, in informally organized groups, or as part of an organized service with a designated leader (as in a church, synagogue, temple, or mosque).

In its older sense in the English language of worthiness or respect (Anglo-Saxon worthscripe), worship may sometimes refer to actions directed at members of higher social classes (such as lords or monarchs) or to particularly esteemed persons (such as a lover).

Typical acts of worship:
· prayer;
· sacrifice (korban in Hebrew);
· rituals;
· some forms of meditation;
· holidays, festivals;
· pilgrimages;
· hymns, psalms or worship music;
· dance
· the construction of temples or shrines;
· the creation of idols of the deity.
· private acts of devotion

Constance, I think you will agree that your book, “Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow”, did not reveal anything new, but exposed something very old, a plot, a strategy that has been brewing ever since the serpent crawled away from God. The AOC Madrid Conference is all about preparing a media blitz the likes of which we’ve never seen. One can go down the list of acts of worship and find “New Age” parallels being established. The world of men is about to be fooled, once again.

I have a traditional Lakota friend who told me that if Adam and Eve had been Lakota, there never would have been “original sin”.

I asked him what he meant by that, and he replied, “If Adam and Eve had been Lakota, they would have ate that damn snake!”

Oh, if only!

Dear Old Man
While I agree with your assessments
in general and agree with you, I
think, in spirit, I would warn people
in general about the using of
Wikipedia as a final source for
definitions of words. I believe that
Wikipedia usually ends up with a
rather prominant bias. Wikipedia is
an open forum and can be
"filibustered" or continually updated
to include questionable material.
I believe that that old serpent
the devil was highjacking words
long before he ever highjacked
an airplane. Think of the word
gay and what it once meant, or
the word bad, or the word brother,
or the word martyr or the word
holy, juxtaposed with the word
cow, or the word ecstasy, which
refers to a Christian experience,
which brings me to the word
worship.
I think some words are Judeo/
Christian words, and these are the
words that the devil most wants
to highjack.

My two cents,
Paul

Kathleen Keating is back with her first show since early December--it is well worth a listen.

Links to the new show are at www.kathleenkeating.com.

In her new show Kathleen shines a spotlight on what is happening internally within the U.S., and on President Bush's visit to Israel.
Kathleen and Constance--the two "Double K Sound" watchwomen of great discernment from the Midwest--have been my greatest teachers around these issues.

I find that Kathleen's work, although different from Constance's, dovetails with it in so many respects. I think it would be of great interest to many of you.

This is a "conservative" parallel to Wikipedia. It has a good section showing biases at Wikipedia and a quickie news section. Only the fact that it is put put by Schlafly's son keeps me on guard.

Just thought I would let you know. Today I received a forward from a friend about Oprah doing the Course in Miracle article by Warren Smith.

She knew I was concerned about the New Age movement and I had told her about the basis of "The Secret". She forwarded the information to add to my New Age file.

This friend also informed me that this was circulating from her church. I was glad to see maybe some of this information is getting out there. I hope that this will start others on the path of researching this.

This is a little off subject but needs to be shared. There's an apartment company, landlords, with a capital l, over charging and harrassing old women who have no where to turn to. They're called Case and Associates based in Tulsa. Please inform anyone who may be moving here to beware. They are accommodating at first, but they lay down the law in a harsh way before long. I know a woman whose faucet was running, yes running as in pouring, not dripping, hot water. In the middle of summer. They didn't fix it for a month. Then when winter came, her furnace quit working. She had to buy a space heater. Now they want to up her rent again even if she signs another lease. She begged them not to, to no avail. Their hardness of heart persisted. This wouldn't have anything to do with Glenn Beck, would it. He wrote a new book recently. Don't buy it.

to the old man of the ski, this is ozark wondering what you think about getting out of america like as in flee from her midst as in when lot and them fleed out of sodom and gamorrah. do you think maybe we are possibly being instructed to do such a thing? have you or any of you wonderful people ever truely considered this. seriously is not this place going in the same direction as nazi germany? perhaps you will say hey tony (thats my real name) the whole worlds going that-a-way as in new world order/global govt. in which case i would be real inclined to agree but sometimes i wonder what they meant exactly when they said to flee from her midst and not partake of the sins and avoid the plages and judgement. what does anyone think?

Sorry, Ozark, if I may butt in, but I don't think there's too many places in the world to go. Try the moon.

I think we should all try to calm down and always remember this:

Matthew 6:26
"Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?"

I truly believe that when the time comes, God will lead us in the right direction according to our individual cirumstances. All we have to do is have faith, keep praying for guidance, and remain close to God.

Regarding your discussion the other day on Ron Paul . . .

In an interview January 10th on CNN's The Situation Room, Ron Paul stated that he did not write any of the offensive newsletter articles (containing racist statements) which have been attributed to him and "has no idea who did." When asked if he was a racist, Ron Paul stated: "No, I'm not a racist" . . . nor has he even read the articles. He said, "I do repudiate everything that is written along those lines."
He stated further, "Poople who know me, nobody is going to believe this. That's just not my language. It's not my life."

FYI: I believe that Ron Paul may be the only candidate (of either party) who is NOT a member of the Council of Foreign Relations. He believes in following our Constitution as it was written and his voting record reflects this. He has collected more than $20 million dollars from ordinary American citizens (rather than from corporations or special interests). He has also won several straw polls. These are just some of the reasons why the "powers that be" feel that he must be STOPPED . . . and they plan to do whatever it takes to discredit him. So, look for it to get much worse!!!

Anyone who isn't checking what goes out under their name is a fool who shouldn't be trusted. Frankly based on a lot of other information about Paul he knew what was going on and knew that he could get money from that base as no one else was covering it.

A lot of Paul information has been worked with by disinformation groups infiltrated by government people. Having been around the block for over 25 years I know what Paul and followers talk about has some truth. However truth is not always used by truthful people. It takes a lot of discernment to evaluate the sources of information.

I would invite all to review Dorothy's info on Ron Paul, it helps to be informed as much as possible.

With all do respect, Dorothy . . . I am in my 60s and I've been around the block a few times myself. I believe that Ron Paul is a good man amd a true patriot. My discernment tells me, "Ye shall know them by their fruits." So, until I see some actual proven evidence to the contrary, I choose to support Ron Paul as our only hope for America among the current candidates (of either party).

A leader is only as useful as his followers allow him to be. There are tens of thousands of leaderers without followers. A leader is useful to certain types of followers. Watch the followers. Germany was full of people who said "If Hitler only knew what was going on, he would stop it." LOL

Dorothy

Anonymous said...

Dorothy, that's a very vicious and un-Christian like statement to make . . . drawing a comparison of the followers of Ron Paul to the followers of Adolph Hitler!!!

Where is your evidence for such an outrageous statement???

Anonymous said...

Yes, suggesting any presidential aspirant is another Hitler would seem to be a little over the top.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous 6:33

Read carefully. There are three units involved, not two. It's not Ron Paul and his followers and Hitler and his followers.

1. There is the leader or organization and leader, top of the heap.

2. There may be may or may not be followers who do dirt such as the SS and those who put out the Ron Paul newsletter.

3. There are followers who refuse to believe that a leader or organization they trust would have anything to do with #2. It's easier than admitting they could be wrong or taken in.

It takes a lot of effort to know who to trust and who not to trust. Most people don't want to make an effort.

Only you know where you fit into that picture.

Dorothy

Anonymous said...

Actually, I am quite secure in knowing exactly where I "fit in to the picture." I am a God-fearing Christian with an unshakable faith who is still constantly learning and discerning. However, I still have not been presented with any evidence to prove that Ron Paul is not a good man and a true patriot who loves his country.

If you have any evidence, Dorothy, you owe it to all of us to "put up or shut up" instead of suggesting that "most people don't want to make an effort." If you have the resources to prove that Ron Paul is not the person he presents himself to be, please share this information.

I have been folloiwng Constance since 1983 and have read her books. I truly believe that the Holy Spirit is working though her to educate us through her writings about the New Age Movement and the coming anti-Christ on the world scene. May God oontinue to give her courage and strength.

One thing I admire the most about Constance is she NEVEE talks down to anyone posting on this web site in a condescending or dismissive manner. You could learn a little tact and diplomacy from her, Dorothy.

Anyway, I want to wish God's blessings on all of you. After all, we are all in this together!!!

RL, I don't post everything I know here. I have a small email list I send things to. Back in November I asked for their comments on Paul and a few responded, most favorably, some very dismissive of his candidacy. On November 15 I wrote a very long piece giving excerpts from their views, links to pro-Paul websites as well as articles by those with concerns about Paul and his followers. I wanted to be very fair. It took up about 90 inches of space. There is no way I can reproduce it in the comments section here.

Paul's political history and discussion about his following are complex issues. Constance's views are respected because she backs up her conclusions with extensive detail. I have that luxury with my email writing.

Here I've shared part of my conclusion. You have shared your conclusion which is support for Paul's candidacy also without extensive reasoning here in the comments section. The best that can be hoped for is that readers here will take the time to seek the opinions of others and spend a few hours of their time doing their own research if they are interested in that candidacy.

If I was being dismissive, I would not have taken the time to answer your anonymous comment in detail.

Dorothy

Anonymous said...

Dorothy, thank you so much for your lengthy response. I will continue to keep my eyes and ears open about Dr. Ron Paul and pray for discernment.

My reasons for being an admirer of his have much to do with being impressed with his voting record, which I have been following since the late 1970s.
