My letter of Objections to Homeland Security on Real ID Act

INTERLUDE ON POSTING OF CONTINUED JAVIER SOLANA STORY: I will be posting the next in my series on Javier Solana and his family roots, with present focus on his grandfather, Salvador de Madariaga. However, there is a May 8th deadline for submission of comments on the Real ID Act rule implementation on Department of Homeland Security. Below are the comments I posted and will also be sending by facsimile (fax) transmission. Please consider IMMEDIATELY doing likewise! In the meantime, for the record, here is a picture of Javier Solana's PATERNAL grandfather on the Solana side, Ezequiel Solana, a noted textbook writer.

RE: Notice of Proposed Rulemaking DHS-2006-0030
Fax: 1 (866) 466-5370

Dear Secretary Chertoff:

I am writing to express my serious objections to the REAL ID Act and its proposed implementation. My concerns are manifold. I have been a practicing attorney for 32 years. I have been known as an internationally published author on these issues for upwards of 24 years. I see no enhancement to security on any level with the implementation of this system, which I understand will leave proposed identification systems open to unencrypted reading. Digitization of fingerprints and other biometric identifiers will make it even easier for hackers, public officials succumbing to temptation to snoop on potential opponents for their present offices (yes, I worked in government long enough to know that this can and does happen), and others to obtain a digitized image of even retina scans and fingerprints of others for access and upload.

Even beyond the present Real ID Act, and for other proposed alternatives such as have been calmly discussed in magazines such as THE ECONOMIST in the past week, of digital and/or RFID chip implantation, “Tommy Thompson” route of chip implant via his new found business interests in Applied Digital Solutions ("Digital Angel"), my response is: not my cat, not my dog, not my child, not my elders, and definitely not ME. When I think that when I went to school we read horror stories with titles such as 1984 about the abuse and then eventual love of “Big Brother,” I shudder to see that this sorry day has come to our country.

As do millions of Americans who have not yet discarded their religious books and warnings, I too have strong religious objections to the implementation of a national identity system that sounds like a cross between the Book of Revelation and the recently updated THE OMEN movie.

I had hoped never to see the dawn of this day when I would have to write a letter like this for any more than “Left Behind” fiction type stories. However, it appears this day is here. Please do not make Americans envy their shorter-lived relatives who never lived to see this day!

As an American, as a fellow member of the United States legal system, I urge you to use your considerable influence to reverse course and give us true “Homeland Security” -- the security of knowing that our privacy and identities are safe and no longer at risk.

Respectfully submitted,

CONSTANCE E. CUMBEY

"Talk about Treacherous, breach of faith ... which is one of the most important requirements to defind the Mark of The Beast.

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

CAUSETH
The word "causeth" comes from the word 'poieo' {poy-eh'-o} a prolonged form of an obsolete primary - do - make - bring forth - commit - cause - bewray - show - bear - lay wait - fulfil - deal - perform –
BEWRA'Y, v.t. beray. To disclose perfidiously
PERFID'IOUSLY, adv. Treacherously; traitorously; by breach of faith or allegiance.
To disclose perfidiously to make with the names of things made, to produce, construct, form, fashion, to be the authors of, the cause, to make ready, to prepare, render one anything, to make i.e. constitute or appoint one anything, to appoint or ordain one that, to be the authors of a thing, bring about, to perform in a Treacherously; traitorously; by breach of faith or allegiance manner.
From this we can recognise that the mark was not ever going to be openly clear but will be done in a treacherous, traitorous, by breach of faith or allegiance manner. This fact runs directly against the mark being the chip because everyone is expecting the chip, therefore it cannot be the mark ... but the ID Cards can and are the Mark. "

If the scripture says people will be required to receive a mark in their right hand or foreheads how can the ID card be the mark? I don't think it is but it is an open door for the real thing (It definately is not good). Any other opinions?

I commend your action Constance. I also think that anyone who makes it in the top ranks of government these days have already sealed their fate. No doubt the One World government already has it's mind made up about it's biggest plans. I think we're riding on a rail here, and REAL ID is just going to be a test-drive for the mark. Maybe it's mark v1.0 or something.

I would appreciate Spanish reader clarification on what is known of Javier Solana and his family ties. Nieves Mathews, per her eulogies was married and the mother of two sons before she returned back to British Isles during the World War II years, interrupting her studies in Madrid. The original stories on the internet immediately after his appointment to NATO were that he was the GRANDSON of a famous Spanish writer and diplomat, Salvador de Madariaga. Solana himself while writing of his family, said nothing about his precedent family ties. In a recent interview, he was quoted as saying de Madariaga was his UNCLE. Knowledgeable Spanish observers sent me the picture of Nieves a few years ago and I cross referenced her easily in other materials from sources close to the family notably Stanford University's Ron Hilton and his WAIS sites as well as MORNING WITHOUT NOON, Madariaga's autobiography. I WANT TO BE ABSOLUTELY ACCURATE about Javier Solana and in no way a purveyor of inaccurate information. If de Madariaga had two grandsons by Nieves, why would he dote on a grandnephew instead? That doesn't make sense. One thought is that Solana may have been raised by other family members and had frequent visits with his grandfather, Salvador de Madariaga as he recounts long visits with him in England while still a boy. Knowledgeable reader input is welcomed. Hey, if Javier himself wishes to input, we would welcome that too!

NAFTA Superhighway Has Giuliani As Key Player

Now the story is interesting enough as it shows Giuliani's links to the movement which allows buyers from foreign countries to buy what we think is government operated infrastructure here in the US. But the company that Giuliani's law firm is working with is "Spanish engineering transportation construction firm, Cintra Concesiones de Infrastructures de Transporte, S.A., a subsidiary of the Grupo Ferrovial, which specializes in toll roads and car parks and considered a leading developer of private-sector infrastructure throughout Europe."

Well, golly, don't we need one world government to manage all of these intra-national operations as in New Ag one world government?

There is a great prayer need this week as Tulsa, OK will be the sight for the 2007 Sacred Activism Conference seeking to radically "re-orient the moral compass" of America's heartland. Like the May 2006 Sacred Activism Conference in Seattle, Jim Garrison of Wisdom University will open the event. Planned is a massive group channeling event to bring about a portrait of the future through visualization and translation into a massive mural by the event organizers. Paul Ray, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Caroline Myss, and many purported Christian activists such as Andrew Harvey will speak. Barbara Marx Hubbard attended the Seattle event and no doubt will be in attendance in Tulsa. The goal is to disrupt Christian morality and values, and mislead with New Age political/spiritual mumbo-jumbo, while forming a new leadership base for their radical progressive ideas. Obama was listed as a possible speaker at various times in the lead up to this event, yet is off the roster at this time.

You know the Real ID is a ruse when illegals are everywhere; they are even coming from Yugoslavia (that country Billy-boy bombed to make safe for Allah.) Also we want to remember that the world trade we thought would bring China to a peaceful relationship with the US, has prepared her role in the END TIMES. As a side note, you may have read that all those pets that died and were made sick was due to contaminated wheat; which by the way, was fed to fish farms as feed.

the first poster is right on the money for the mark being hidden until its to late.
If the mark is treacherous. then the true nature of such a phenomenon is beyond the reach of the imaginations of man. The way it would be i think presented to the world would be like if bill gates announced to the world he is mailing 100 dollars cash to every household in america. the caveat is that you open the envelope you agree to be his slave for the rest of your life. except that you didn't know those terms until you opened the envelope. and it gets even better there was a lunatic who was ranting on tv how if you opened that envelope you would become his slave. but dismissed it as rubbish.
you knew from the nutcase on tv that it was bad news but the TEMPTATION led you to open it.

Can the mark really be so easilly disguised? Revelation 14:9-11 tells of an angel warning of the consequences of taking the mark. I think when the mark is here, won't it be crystal clear?

im the 4:10 poster.

My response to the 10:36 comment. WHen the real deal rolls out we will have warning from a real prophet. not a make believe prophet like your church pastor, hal lindsey. When this prophet comes out you are going to hate him or love him. When God has pronounced judgement on a nation he gives them warning first.

I think the 70 weeks are actually a countdown from 1948. it is nowhere near the spiritual situation as in the days of noah. you have to many righteous people in the world. remember lot negotiated with God if there were atleast 5 righteous people in sodom. If current stats are right them howcome baptisms are popular in 3rd world countries are rising,a nd there is much missionaries in the usa. I do not believe we are there yet.

Anonymous said...

Brian,

Hal Lindsey and some of us may not agree on some aspects of timing in the prophetic picture, but it's unfair to call him a false prophet. He does preach the Gospel of Christ. Isn't that the ultimate goal?

Second, two characteristics of the the days of Noah was the earth was filled with violence and the world was one. We are very close to that.

Your analysis of the 70 weeks fails to factor that the Messiah would be cut off then the timeclock would again start at a later time. With that scenario, it would be impossible for the 70 weeks to have started in 1948, unless you believe that Jesus was not the Messiah. But that's not entirely what I understand you to be saying, or is it?

The one thing I do agree with you on is that people will have a full understanding of what the mark actually means.

Brian:

To have to have a prophet on board to tell about the mark of the beast to believers, I think personally as a Christian, would be a slap in the face. I do not need a prophet or anyone else to tell me not to recieve a mark! The mark in revelation means tattoo! Talk about obvious. Yah, there are other specific details like worship that are part of the deal. Also some form of electronic tracking will most likely be involved. Some so called modern day Christians would like to claim that a lot of the old testament laws are obselete.

Leviticus 19:28 You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord.

So when you read the old testament we have already got a specific warning for labelling yourself or branding yourself to coincide with the tattoo part of the mark of the beast. Its funny how so many Christians are now saying it is ok to get a tattoo. "Well if I get a tattoo of the cross or something it is ok. Besides, we are in the age of grace." I hear this appostate crap all the time. My responce is "Try the whole word of God for the warning labels not just part!" Its insane! Remember the old movies where the mark of the beast was a tattoo of 666 on the peoples right hand or forehead? There is a reason for it to looked like a tattoo. Now whether it is 666 or not who knows. But a thought worth considering is Islam values the number 666! The Koran teaches this! Now figure that possibly in connection with Solana some how, thats quite a team. As far as a prophet being around, there are going to be 2 of them for sure. One of them being Elijah. But what makes you so sure that the media will broadcast such political incorrectness? Are you willing to trust the media of some sort to give the warnings that we already have foretold to us in God's word? Not me! After all how many prophets will have to be on earth for you to personally run into one with a population of 6 billion or whatever it is now? What are the odds of getting the warning at a time when it is conveient? Seems to me you better re-think what your priorities are, the word of God or someone claiming to know the word of God and waiting for the alarm to sound.

My motto, Luke 21:36 "Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all the things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

Seeing the state of the world I am on my knees day and night!

Rick Warren is back in the news.

http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2007/may/07051101.html

A supporter of porn from his membership has given him 2 million dollars. He wont denounce the profitting or the broadcasting of the porn from the member of his church as of today 5/13. Rupert Murdoch is the member/media giant billionaire.

"Rupert Murdoch is a born-again Christian and Rick Warren claims to be his pastor," Rosebrough said in a press release. "As a Christian, Murdoch is committing an egregious sin by owning, expanding and profiting from pornographic channels and Rick Warren, as his pastor, has a Biblical duty to call Murdoch to repentance and/or put him out of the church."

I wonder what will become of this? Hopefully the right thing.

GRACIOUS! I just clicked the link again for the Brussels Forum and was stunned to see Javier Solana discussing needed USA involvement. Looks like our "invisible man" is getting much more visible, i.e. Javier Solana.

Constance Cumbey said...

By way of comment on the Rick Warren, Rupert Murdoch, I'm not quite as quick to pass judgment on Rupert Murdoch who I am sure is a very new Christian. I was deeply distressed that Jane Fonda who was a new and deeply sincere Christian was hounded away. We should be a hospital for sinners, not just a museum for saints. It takes time for new believers to fully orient and patience and counseling arequired. I know of very prominent New Agers who repented. I supposed I could have profited by putting their show on the road, but I did not because they needed time for grounding and they needed privacy. It is encouraging to me that Rupert Murdoch did see the need for Jesus in his life, even though Rick Warren might be a flawed vessel for his schooling in the faith (aren't we all?!). Jane Fonda was privately in a small black Baptist church in Atlanta for two years and in bible studies. It was reported that few knew how deep her conversion really had been. She was in attendance at an environmentalist conference and refused to participate in a group meditation, upbraiding all that 'you should be praying to Jesus!" I was deeply distressed to see that sincere anti-apostate papers such as Calvary Contender were ridiculing news reports of her conversion (which cost her her marriage to Ted Turner) as "a fad." We should be praying for people like Jane Fonda and Rupert Murdoch, not ridiculing them. I agree the porno issue is a serious one -- as I recall from the story, the company was now run as a "blind trust." I suspect Murdoch can still call shots.
Even Jesus couldn't dump everything on everybody all at once. He told his disciples, "I have much to tell you, but you couldn't bear it all now." If even Jesus had to hold back, who are we to expect everybody to have instant perfection all at once?

Anonymous said...

As far as Murdoch is concerned I pray that there is a conviction by God in the silent partnering of enabling the porn stuff to continue on. It would be a huge victory if he were to just ditch the trash stuff. It would also be an amazing testimony. Someone that high up in the media to make a change because of Jesus would be well publicised. Especially in his own company. The impact would be worldwide. On the other hand I am a little suspicious of Rick Warrens motives. I'm am not willing to say that he is not a Christian. Some of the things he has done in the last year are a little borderline to say the least. With that being said nothing is too far past for a miracle to happen.

Anonymous said...

Regarding Fonda and Murdoch.

Very well said, Constance. Discernment ministries are vital but can be a two edged sword. Sometimes I cringe at the vitriol aimed at other Christians. You're absolutely right, these people need our prayers.

Here's an interesting commentary from Lighthouse Trails Research most recent newsletter:

Rick Warren once again condemns conservative Christians and further marginalizes them, according to a Los Angeles Times article.1 The article states:

Evangelical leader Rick Warren came to the heart of the religious right movement last week to criticize a narrow focus on abortion, homosexuality and pornography as un-Christian.

Strikingly, top Christian conservatives agreed.

During a three-day summit here, members of Focus on the Family and Campus Crusade for Christ joined Warren and dozens of other pastors from across the nation in a pledge to devote more of their resources and clout to helping children in need.

"We've got some people who only focus on moral purity and couldn't care less about the poor, the sick, the uneducated. And they haven't done zip for those people," said Warren, a mega-church pastor in California and author of the best-selling "The Purpose-Driven Life."

Warren hastened to say that he also opposed abortion and gay marriage. But too often, he said, Christians these days are defined by their "big mouth" -- what they argue against, not what they embrace. He pointed to a verse from the Book of James that calls caring for orphans an essential element of a "pure and undefiled" faith.
Rick Warren believes that Christians have done little to help the needy and that the world needs the Purpose Driven agenda to bring about a new reformation and world peace. In the past few years, Warren has consistently stated that conservative Christians who are against abortion and homosexuality (and Purpose Driven) are fundamentalists (he likens them to Islamic fundamentalists - see article below) and says these kind of Christians are one of the biggest enemies facing our society. A Saddleback pastor has gone so far as to call resisting Christians "leaders from hell."2 Warren says change can't come about until they are out of the way, either through leaving the church or dying (see article below).

According to the LA Times article, Warren has now added pornography to his abortion/homosexuality list. This could be because of recent stories that report Rick Warren's connection to Rupert Murdoch and Murdoch's investments in pornographic-promoting companies.3

Using language like "big mouth," "couldn't care less," and "haven't done zip," Rick Warren is coming out of the gate with his hair on fire ... he appears to be hopping mad at people who criticize him for his non-biblical theologies. And he's going to the let the world know he condemns those who question and challenge him.

Rick Warren is wrong in what he says. True Christians (those with Jesus Christ indwelling them) have been serving the Lord faithfully since the church began 2000 years ago. Charities, missionary societies, Christian foster parents and adoptive parents, martyrs, inner city missions, and more are all proof of this. To say that believers have nothing but big mouths and don't do zip is inaccurate, misleading, and shameful. The Bible is very clear that those who are born into Jesus Christ through faith by His grace are being prepared to be a spotless Bride for Christ. This is not saying that believers are without sin, for the Bible says in I John that if we say we are without sin, we are liars. But the Bible also says that He is faithful never to leave us or forsake us, and we are His workmanship created for good works, (Ephesians 2:10) and He is changing us all the time to become more like Him (II Corinthians 3:18). To say that the church has done nothing is to say that God has done nothing, for as believers we are in Him. While the New Testament does condemn those who live in habitual ongoing sin and calls them to repent, and it does distinguish between those who are really born again and those who are not (the sheep and the goats), it does not speak in a derogatory manner about the true church as Rick Warren does. While he continues to promote contemplative spirituality, leading followers further from truth, he also appears to be zealously condemning those who will not go along with the Purpose Driven paradigm (see video).

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10)

"Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12:28-29)

I'm actually done picking on Rick Warren, but I'm still keeping my eye on him. Maybe the above commentary may add to the discussion here.

I'm not a fan of Rick Warren myself, per se, and am frankly suspicious of what appears to be his globalist agenda; HOWEVER, that does not change my mind that we must be more patient with new believers such as Jane Fonda was and Rupert Murdoch hopefully is. Dear Constance;
Great letter you wrote to Chertoff. But I think the Congressmen and Senators who enacted the Homeland Security Act should read letters like this too. (If they bother to.)

For a little comfort, but also sobering too, it would seem timely to now review Christ’s words to the church of Smyrna. Rev. 2:8-11. http://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/Rev/Rev002.html#8

It’s been almost a year since I last read the comments at this blog. I am heartened to see what seems to be a very noticeable general increase in depth and understanding and quality of discussion among the commenters here.

Solana is a very interesting character. You and Herb have me convinced he is a very likely candidate for the human arch-villain of history. But not by what has occurred, but by what might yet occur, of course. But what if it turns out he’s not the guy after all? I don’t discourage your efforts, nor even seriously question the Solana candidacy. However, whether the mystery man turns out to be J.S., or anyone else, (George Bush?) I would propose that in awaiting the time when “the man of sin will be revealed”, that it is also very important to have a good basic Berean grasp of the specifics regarding this character as given by the scriptures. Perhaps you might consider this when you have finished the present series you are working on. Let me suggest the following scenario. Suppose several likely and well qualified candidates are all waiting in the wings simultaneously. Suppose only God yet knows who will finally end up with the part. It does say when the time comes he will be ‘revealed’. I suppose that means when the unfortunate soul at last takes his ultimate place and begins wielding the full power of his career. Of course, we will probably need to know the scriptures to recognize the time and the person when this transpires. Just saying, a thorough grounding in the details of the prophecies is the first order of importance. It could still turn out to be someone we didn’t even know about yet. But even so, Solana’s uncanny qualifications still serve to focus attention to the closeness of the times. To watch and be ready.

I have a similar attitude to the “mark of the beast”. The specific form it ultimately takes is not as important as understanding the essence of it. If we understand the essence as given in the scripture, we recognize the mark whatever form it turns up as. Tattoos, chips, id-cards, SS#’s, or simple pledge of allegiance. Any or all of these could be the mark or just precursors to it. Maybe it would be good to “avoid the very appearance of evil” as far as possible where ever we encounter it. Some of you may be surprised that I mention “pledge of allegiance”. But think for a moment. The mark is in the right hand, and in the forehead. Symbolically, these stand for allegiance, (swearing with right hand), and devotion of thoughts, (forehead). Essentially, the two together are worship. “And all those who receive the mark shall worship the beast”. See how we were being conditioned from grade school to be ready to take the mark? Contrast Jesus’ explicit teaching to “swear not at all”, (i.e., pledge not at all), but simply let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no.

It seems inescapable to me that Nazi Germany and Hitler was a pre-echo of the ultimate archetype of the Beast and the Anti-Christ. I just recently read that when Hitler finally got around to asserting his full primacy as Der Fuhrer, everyone in professional capacities were required to make an oath of loyalty to him and the fatherland, or else be ostracized from the ranks of “good citizen”. I now have no doubt that persecuted Christians to come will be labeled “terrorists”. Recall George Bush’s declaration: “If you are not with us (i.e., me) you are with the terrorists”. I fully expect an “oath of allegiance” requirement will ultimately be attached to the Real ID. This would symbolically attach a number to ones right hand and forehead. Remember, the scriptural language is very symbolical. You don’t really expect to see an actual seven-headed, 10-horned flesh and blood animal, do you? What the mark essentially constitutes is full allegiance of mind and loyalty, in a type of hyper-patriotism, given to the head-of-state, that is a mere man, as your Great Leader, i.e., lord. One’s access to the economic system, and therefore employment, medical coverage, and such, will all be contingent upon one’s willingness to enter into this oath of fealty to the Fatherland and that man who is the Great Leader. Because otherwise – you’ll be suspected of being one of ‘them’ – “the insurgency”.

This was precisely the spirit and attitude that was fostered and exacted against the Christians of ancient Rome who were given over to the lions. They wouldn’t ‘worship’ Caesar, and so they were suspected enemies of the empire. You have to admit, it will look mighty easy to take the easy path of least resistance. A pledge of allegiance and a card! What’s the big deal? Beside, we got this holy War on Terror to fight, and only WE can save the world – because we got the biggest, high-tech military this side of kingdom come. Whose gonna stand against this beast? “Bring it on!” “You’re either with us, or with ‘them’!” That’s pretty clear. WE are the good side. God bless Us! Only evil terrorists are against us! What other country holds their heads so high cause as far as we are concerned, “our lifestyle is not negotiable.” Chevrolet and Coca-Cola. McDonald’s and Mickey Mouse. That what it’s all about. So, keep your home, keep your job, your SUV, and those Saturday trips to the mall. “It’s the economy, stupid!” College funds for the kids! Besides, God keeps blessing us! and we keep putting that good money on those collection plates every week. (“How God does love a cheerful giver!” “God loves to prosper them who fill the air with praises”, you know. So name and claim those ‘blessings’. My bank account runneth over! God is always good! HALLELUJAH!!!) “Ain’t nothing wrong with this country that what’s GOOD about it can’t fix!” No sir! So what’s the problem with allegiance to the GOOD side? And it must all be ok, cause there’s no tattoos or chips yet. Oh, and of course, ain’t nobody been Left Behind yet neither. Man, LIGHTEN UP! Trinity Broadcast Network and the 700 Club are still on the air, singing ‘Amazing Grace’, and the national anthem too.

Matthew 4:
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Matthew 25:
1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

I have to dissagree with you on part of the representation of what the mark of the beast symbolizes with the hand and forehead. In Revelation the hand and forehead do not represent worship combined together. I.E. the head representing thought and the hand representing actions together=worship. I have to disagree and here is why.

Revelation 14:9
Then a third angel followed them, and saying with a loud voice "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and recieves his mark on his forehead or on his hand,

First off worship, right hand, and forehead are listed as 3 seperate things. If the head and hand represented worship then why would it say the word worship specifically as a seperate thing? It says all 3, worship, hand and forehead. Hand and head are not combined here to make worship.
Also worship is listed first. This verse automatically violates the first 3 commandments of Exodus ch. 20 when you do the actions listed. This coincides to worship, head and hand. As far as things being symbolic in attaching to your head or hand, I don't buy that. I give the litteral interperatation of these verses the benefit of the doubt. Symbolic representation has its good points, but it only goes so far. Symbolisms have lead a lot of people astray. I am not saying the majority by any means or even you. But when something can be taken at face value in Revelation I leave it at that for the meaning of future events. Just like the 144,000 Jews listed in Revelation ch.7 each tribe listing 12,000 people. A lot of people try to symbolise that one as well trying to represent the church somehow. It seems to me that set of verses could be exactly what it means in the literall. Well anyway I'm not trying to pick a bone with you here. I have just heard a lot of my 7th day adventist freinds start down the road of the mark thing with the hand and head stuff to represent worship. But then one thing turns to another with there symbolism of almost all of Revelation. Now don't get me wrong here. I am not cutting 7th day adventists here. These people who I am talking about are my very close friends and humble people. These friends just happen to have put me two feet first into educating me on their specific church amongst many of that denomination.
God bless.
