A Newt Gingrich Instant Replay

I published this in early January of this year. Inexplicably, I learned that this article was no longer appearing on Google searches, even though the other content of my blogs was appearing on them. Since Gingrich is aggressively running, and large numbers of Christians seem to blindly accept that he is a “Christian conservative,”I thought an instant replay of sorts was in order!

NEWT GINGRICH – CONSERVATIVE? SAVIOUR OF MORALITY? FUTURE USA PRESIDENT? GIVE ME A BREAK!

Researching the hidden dangers of the New Age Movement as I have for the past 25 years, I have seen in “true New Age fashion” plenty of recycling. Few are stranger than the former Congressman from Georgia, Newt Gingrich, who I first discovered as the stalwart New Age Movement insider that he was. He went on to become the House majority leader and an alleged spokesperson for the Conservative movement. A few alarms were sounded, but his “conservative image” prevailed in public and media consciousness. He is now attempting a re-emergence, perhaps even a run for President. God help us! Marilyn Ferguson wrote the landmark manifesto book for the New Age Movement, THE AQUARIAN CONSPIRACY. She described her “conspiracy” as a benign one, with people “seeking power only to disperse it to others.” She also edited two profitable insider newsletters for her “co-conspirators”. One was called LEADING EDGE BULLETIN. The other was called BRAIN-MIND BULLETIN. It was the former where I first learned of Newt Gingrich.

Marilyn Ferguson wrote glowingly in the early 1980s of the brave Georgia congressman who was doing so very much to advance the agenda of the Movement. Naturally, I immediately opened a file on him and followed his career with fascination since. He drew since forgotten notoriety in conservative and even feminist circles by serving his first wife with divorce papers as she lie recovering from surgery in the cancer ward. He then married his Congressional aide, a wife who has also been discarded for another younger still model. His New Age proclivities were not hidden. He publicly proclaimed his close affinities for his mentor, Alvin Toffler. He also was obviously close to John Naisbitt, the author of MEGATRENDS and MEGATRENDS 2000. Naisbitt also wrote the foreword to a later edition of Ferguson’s THE AQUARIAN CONSPIRACY.

In the early 1990s, an Atlanta magazine got wind of my concerns. A reporter contacted me and went through details on the New Age Movement and my concerns about Gingrich’s open and obvious links. I was dismayed to receive a faxed copy of the obviously scoffing news clip called “The Devil and Newt Gingrich.” That was the bad news. The good news was that somebody who had once relatively close insider ties to Newt Gingrich, a man calling himself to me only “Chip,” faxed me many pages of handwritten letters Gingrich had sent him. The letters talked proudly of how Newt’s daily practice of Taoism helped him make his daily decisions in Congress.

Gingrich resigned in disgrace from Congress over an illegal book deal. He is now reinventing himself as a spokesperson for morality. People are speaking admiringly of his recent public affiliations with liberal Democrats such as Hillary Clinton on national health issues. It all seems incongruous unless one understands the dynamics of the New Age Movement which itself has of late reinvented itself as “the Radical Middle.” Among Gingrich’s incongruities, he is a self-described “internationalist,” consistent with his New Age values. He has been involved on an international “networking society” level with another name to which I have given much ink, “Javier Solana.” [1] When there were Republican moves to halt United States involvement with Solana’s Bosnian invasion adventures, Newt Gingrich’s name was reportedly conspicuously missing from Congressional petitions to withhold funding. Gingrich's name has also been associated with the supposedly evangelical Council for National Policy (CNP). Never known for the utmost in discernment, CNP has included in their exclusive sets well known Unification Church Reverend Moon operatives as well. For the record, Rev. Moon is best known for his claims to be the "Lord of the Second Advent."

Don’t expect me to be campaigning this or any other year for Newt Gingrich for President or any other office, except perhaps dog catcher (and I’m not sure I would want to do that to even a dog!). And you be careful too! At best he is a New Ager. At worst he is a shameless opportunist -- neither are viable options as far as Yours Truly is concerned. I find him to be totally confusing.

I had thought him to be a supporter of President Bush, and then he was on TV talking like he was opposed to him.

Maybe he is merely thinking of the votes, and wanting to be all things to all men.

Constance, have you read the letter purportedly from Ahmadinejad to George Bush?

http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/article.asp?id=4503

I don't know if this has been verified. But succintly making point after succint point, the text of the letter stands on its own merit, regardless.

I like to imagine the thought processes going on in W's head if he were to actually read the letter, but it is hard to picture him actually reading this letter.

As I read the letter, I considered the vast contrast between the humility and morality of the mind of whoever wrote it, vs. the arrogant and foolhardy bluster of the mind of the man who once said "Bring it on!"

America, your condition is dire, dark and deep.

Sackcloth and ashes....

So if you were president, what would YOU do ???

Constance Cumbey said...

For openers, I would start with

1. Following the constitution
2. Using diplomatic language -- what if the writer of the letter were frightened that the USA might do to Iran what it did to Iraq? I'm not into old Chinese proverbs, per se, but there is one very good one: ALWAYS LET YOUR OPPONENT SAVE FACE! Painting them into a corner is a dangerous move for us which could backfire, especially as we turn Javier Solana loose to negotiate for the whole Western world!

I have friends who think that Newt is the great answer to follow President Bush. They are all about how wonderful it wil be when he is in office.
Romalynn-- I think that America has a very short memory. They will say that wasn't his fault, etc.
Thank you for posting this, I may pass it along to my friends and relatives.

Another interesting fact about Newt Gingrich is that he states in an article he wrote for Inc. Magazine that one of his big influences was Peter Drucker in changing how people think about thinking. He wrote it in 1998 and claimed Peter Drucker was as influential as Alvin Toffler in his life. To view the article, just visit this site:

http://www.inc.com/magazine/
19980301/888.html

Peter Drucker was also instrumental in the "Church growth movement" and served as a mentor of sorts for Rick Warren, the perfector of Church growth. Basically, Church growth is about getting as many people in a church as possible, using techniques outlined by Rick Warren in The Purpose-Driven Church.

Constance and I provided information on Newt's ties to the New Age movement to William Jasper, editor of the magazine New American. This information was the basis for the section on Gingrich, Futurist. I was told that issue of New American sold some 6,000 additional copies in DC alone. Doing my ordinary research, I found it was copied in many alternative publications. I do believe this information led to the confrontation with the Young Turks, those conservatives who were elected to Congress but refused to go under Gingrich's thumb.

One of Constance's early newsletters
contained far more information than she has posted here. She is an extremely diligent researcher. Doing my own research independently at the time, I developed a file two inches thick on the guy.

Ask yourself why he is being touted by so-called media conservatives these days. I don't think they are just innocent sweeties who just don't know. With the salaries they make, they can afford staff researchers. The only one I know sees thru Gingrich is Michael Savage.

The movement has worked quietly behind the scenes for decades and older books can be very informative. Get a copy of Toward A Human World Order by the Misches. Paulist Press. It came out in 1977.

Now here are a few things that Gingrich was associated with:
National Peace Academy campaign
L-5 Society
With Toffler he founded the Committee on Participatory Democrary
Congressional Clearing House on the Future - mostly Democrats on that Committee which was to bring New Age ideas to Congress
Military Reform Caucus
Congressional Space Caucus
World Future Society

How far back does this information go? Back in 1984 I was introduced to information about Gingrich's ties to New Age by the Barbara Morris newsletter.

Considering his ties to the anti-semitic New Age movement, the Christina Jeffrey problem is also something to be considered.

Following the constitution is a good start...the Deomcrats could learn some things about that too.

However, on the 2nd point, I hope he's afraid that what happened to Iraq will happen to Iran.

Frankly, he (Ahmadinejad) has painted himself into a corner. He frequently goes on TV and promises the downfall of America and Israel. Even this week he was doing that.

Iran also has a history of opening negotiations and not following through with their promises.

Honestly, i've been surprised that Bush let the UN handle this one. That tells me he's serious enough about it to not go it alone this time.

As for saving face...Ahmadinejad has had plenty of opportunity for that as well. Unilateral dialogue with the US would only encourage him to stand more firm in his ambitions.

And then there's the point of his fully believing that wiping out Israel will bring back the 12th imam. He's openly preparing with his government for his return during his term.

Combine that with the fact Islam teaches to openly give your opponent a chance to withdraw (or as some would say "save face") and if they submit, let them be....if they don't, then attack....I think this is a setup.

I also think Bush, Rice, and the others don't fully recognize what's going on around them in that part of the world. I hear they are from replacement theology backgrounds(...but don't know that for fact).

But then again...mabye they are in with the globalist to the point that the do understand.

Anyone hear that they found highly enriched Uranium in Iran this week? This is coming to a head VERY soon. I'm guessing by the end of Summer.

Anonymous said...

PS - I didn't know about the Gingrich stuff...thanks for the info.

Again...without knowing who's running this time...I can easily see Hillary walking into office next term and turning everything over to global governance.

All she has to do is wait for things to fall apart later this year...We get tied up in Iran, economy takes a dive, they retaliate via proxy groups, and she just walks in and blames it all on the Republicans.

That is if she can keep from saying TOO much and losing the bid.

Apparently, the only way that President Bush can ensure that the Iranian leader does not get to make any nuclear weapons, so as to destroy Israel, and threaten the West, is to use nuclear weapons.

These are the only weapons that will be able to penetrate the depths of the bunkers that need to be destroyed. They are not weapons intended to be used on the populace, but ones specially designed to do this job. Conventional weapons are not able to get down far enough.

If President Bush sits back and does nothing, then the Iranian President will go ahead with his intentions and make the weapons.

President Bush has a big problem because it looks like he will have to go it alone, with no military help from Europe, and he does not have the troops to invade, like in Iraq.

France has already said that they will not go along with using nuclear weapons and the UK is also reluctant,(though the use of sanctions against Iran, that they suggest, will not likely to do anything to shift the Iranian leader from his intentions, as he is a fanatic, who sees himself as the instrument that will be used to usher in the coming of the Mahdi).

So, unless Israel moves against Iran to try to stop them making nuclear weapons, it appears it will be up to the US to take action. Can you imagine what the reaction will be from the world if it all goes wrong.

That's why President Bush most likely will see Javier Solana as some kind of god send, if Javier can fix this situation without the US having to go to war with Iran.

Worse still, if diplomacy fails, Iran may just be telling the truth about weapons it has, that cannot be detected when launched, and then Iran may launch an attack against Israel and the US.

All in all, a very dangerous situation.

Either way, one can see Javier Solana is on the winning end.

If he succeeds displomatically, he will be some kind of saviour.

If he fails, and there is some kind of war that results in the US being incapacitated, then he will be able to come in and mop up, and set himself up as leader of the Western World.

I think Javier is getting into a position to sweep the world before him.

I found an article in the Philadephia Inquirer, following a link from lighthousetrailsresearch.com, with an interview with Rick Warren in January of this year. In the interview he "predicts that fundamentalism, of all varieties, will be 'one of the big enemies of the 21st century.'

He went on to say, "Muslim fundamentalism, Christian fundamentalism, Jewish fundamentalism, secular fundamentalism--they're all motivated by fear. Fear of each other."

This is very worth the read, whether you agree or not, because the reasoning is compelling of sober thought.

Does anyone hear the Bridegroom's trumpet? Arise and prepare! For you know not the hour...

Anonymous said...

Speaking of the Bridegroom's coming, I wonder how many Christians realise what happened for a traditional Jeweish wedding to take place. Presumably this was also the sort of wedding that Jesus was referring to.

This is entirely different to the weddings we have in the West.

The bride and bridegroom are firstly betrothed, and then the bride has to wait for her groom to come and claim her.

This will happen at a time which is intended to surprise her, and it is like a sort of kidnap, where the bridegroom literally comes like a thief in the night. Her bridegroom will suddenly appear with some of his friends with him, and whisk her away to a secret place he has prepared for her.

She will stay with him there for SEVEN DAYS, and after that he will bring her back to her home.

I don't know whether modern day Jewish people still do this, but that secretly snatching away of the bride for seven days was the traditional Jewish way, which would be the type of wedding that Jesus was referring to.

In response to anon. 3:01 I believe this time that the Iranian sycho is telling the truth about missles that can't be detected by radar. Iran is being supplied by Russia who developed an electronic device that is portable from plane to boat to car that makes it invisible to radar. It was described as a box about 8 inches wide. This electronic device vibrates the metal object that it is connected to, and totally distorts any reflection of radar, including laser. I do not see how that this technology could not be aplied to the Iranian missle program. All missles are metal of some form and this electronic devise could be placed inside of it. Now I don't think Iran is bluffing. They saw what happened to Iraq when Saddam wanted to push on nerves. I think Iran knows fully well what the U.S. is capable of. I think Iran already has the goods, and is just playing cat and mouse to try to catch us off gaurd into believing that they are still a couple off years away from having nukes. Iran was not capable of having a nuke program without Russia involved. So since we know that Iran has had a secret nuke program for 18 years, this makes you wonder if Russia started there program back then. If you follow the statements lately involving new Russian military inventions, isn't it strange how Iran is only a few months behind them with the same products? Although, Iran claims to have built it. I believe Russia is giving Iran the instructions on how to build everything so no one will be able to claim that Russia supplied all the weaponry. That will leave Russia in the clear even if we find some sort of document that states the transfer of information. After all we still have to rely on politicians to relay the accurate information on the dirty deed done. Not many will believe its true.

Why is so much effort expended on making Newt Gingrich a new ager? Where is the proof? The things you say are not proof. They just sound bad. Could there be some other agenda here? Why single him out from the pack?

No one is "making" Newt a New Ager. He did it all by his little old self as he is major opportunist parading as someone with morals. He was a self-described Futurist early on. Look that up. He involved himself with the organizations I mentioned. Look them up. Constance has written about the "Radical Middle" politicians. Look that up if you want publicity for the rest of the pack. If you can't bear to see the little idol when he is off his throne, go read his material but don't complain later when he laughs at what a sucker you are.

I didn't make Newt Gingrich a New Ager. He did it all by himself. Here's one New Age website (this one renaming itself "Radical Middle") where you can read a little on him. Mark Satin, author of NEW AGE POLITICS is the editor of this one:

http://www.radicalmiddle.com/great_sites.htm

If anything, Newt Gingrich is far more of a New Ager than even Al Gore who clearly was -- with this difference -- only Gore was a little more honest about it. Gingrich was too, in his earlier days and you may be sure, he has NEVER disavowed it. Perhaps you are confused because he is part of CNP (Council for National Policy) -- but then again, so were a bunch of people from Rev. Moon's organization! And I guess that does make Newt Gingrich, apart from his ever so blatant opportunism and ruthlessness, look comparatively innocent. What is it you like about him? Could it be any of the following:

1. Dumping his first wife Jackie, serving her with divorce papers while in the cancer ward?

2. Dumping his second wife, devoted Congressional aide, Marianne?

3. His current live-in affair?

4. His handwritten letters saying that he was aided in his daily Congressional decisions by his practice of Taoism?

5. His mentoring by Alvin and Heidi Toffler?

6. His close association with John Naisbitt?

7. The Congressional book deal that caused his resignation from Congress before this current round of "reinventing himself"?

8. His ability to talk out of all sides of his mouth?

etc., etc.

This is a little off topic, but I wonder if someone can help. I'm seeing a pattern at my local library when I try to get conservative books on interlibrary loan. False Dawn by Lee Penn, I was told, was not available anywhere. Another book, Merchants of Evil was also not available from any library in our state because it was either out or missing. They also said that they try to avoid borrowing books where another library charges a fee.

Has anyone else encountered this? What happens when you ask your library if False Dawn is available thru interlibrary loan?

I could not obtain False Dawn thru Borders and had to go to Amazon.

To Anon 1:18 I just saw that article as well. Solana seems to be coming to center stage. So also I would assume the U.S. will be exiting backstage, now that we have put Israel right where he wants them. I think the time is very limited to the question we all hear from other christians " Solana who? ".

Constance Cumbey said...

This is indeed a pattern. It existed when I wrote Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow and even after it soared on best seller charts. It headed the Christian best seller list for awhile and was in the top ten for a relatively long time. I live in the Detroit area and Borders is an Ann Arbor based business. Borders never did carry Hidden Dangers except by special order. I understand their owners were either New Agers or sympathizers of same. I have always been a good, even heavy Borders' customer because of the need to obtain documentation I can freely mark, something that can't be done with library books. During this period of time, a Borders' employee confided in me that they had HEAVY demand for my book, but management had made a policy decision that they would not carry it, but would obtain it for people "by special order" only. Barnes and Nobles did carry it. Books that "hit the nail on the head" frequently meet this fate! THE OCCULT AND THE THIRD REICH by Jean Michel Angebert clearly should have been republished -- there was and STILL REMAINS heavy demand for it. I'm not surprised that Lee Penn's important book, FALSE DAWN, would meet this fate! Frankly, these days, I am thanking God for Amazon.com!

This article reuters has with the E.U.(mentioning Solana specifically) Seems also as an indicator that Iran also might have the upper hand over the U.S. as well. They have threatend to change the oil reserve dollars to the Euro dollar. It would seem to me that this would be part of the over all deal that probably will go through eventually. Even if Iran breaks the deal later on after getting some of the bennefits. Iran really has a lot to loose if they dont take the deal. And it has a serious amount to gain if it accepts it. Including making its nuclear program legal and accepted worldwide except for Israel and the U.S. of coarse. It will probably lead to the downfall of the U.S. Could it be that someone from Iran or the Islamic world is the false prophet? Just a thought. The desciption in Rev. Ch.13. But I saw an article that the E.U. was interested in joining some portions of Islam to the structure somehow. Imagine if Solana is the A.C. joining with Islam for a period to allow Islamic law to wipe out the Christians, without having to do the dirty work himself immediately anyway. Islam is the religion that prefers conversion by the sword. Immagine if somehow they got involved in the E.N.P. Then Islamic law would be made mandatory outside of the Islamic world. At the least Islam would have more persuasion with oil involved. Solana does want to see the U.S. fall. What a team I would say, even if it was in secret. A possibility? who knows.

I was reading today on the webs, some of the names of the countries who are mentioned in the Bible (and their translated modern names), that go against Israel at the end, and they comprised Russia, Turkey, and Iran (so obviously still around, and not hit hard by some sort of war), and surprisingly, Poland.

Poland smacks of the European Union involvement, so Javier most likely behind it all.

No mention of the US, but then, would these countries dare to come against Israel if the US was still viable in defending her. It is hard to believe that the US would merely sit and watch Israel being invaded without trying to help her, so what is the answer to that one?

Where is the US?

Here comes the old crank, me, again with a question. I have some of my own opinions, but for argument's sake let's say it's end times that are coming up and someone should be prepared by being a good Christian. Then what in the heck does it matter what countries are involved in the war at the end and who the antichrist is. Why all of the endless speculation as to the countries and the names involved. Will knowing that information make you a better Christian? Will it make you a better Christian if you one-up your neighbor by being right that it was the King of Jordan rather than the queen of England who was the false prophet?

I can see gathering information on the changes taking place if being knowledgeable makes you do something to better the world in which you find yourself.

The other speculation that I've heard that makes no sense to me in terms of being a good Christian is that if you can show someone that we are living in end times, that would make the Bible right and turn someone into being a good Christian.

If that is the case, then why bother with prophesy at all?

According to your reasoning, if it is going to happen anyway, what's the point. Why bother to even read such passages?

However, that is not how it works. The prophesy is there for a reason, it is intended that we do know how everything is working out.

I believe that prophesy is there to inform, warn, comfort, and to reinforce our expectations.

The Bible is a living book like no other, written by a Creator/Saviour who is outside time, and proving Himself to be part of our lives in every page.

Prophecy as written in the Bible is good. If based on the word of God you believe end times are here, that's good. The endless obsession by so many people over who is what is what is confusing. Why is it necessary? Does it make a difference if the antichrist is coming out of Saudia Arabia or Britain if you believe the antichrist's presence is publicly surfacing? Will you act differently if Germany is the home of the antichrist as opposed to Italy?

You have no answer, but someone else may have one.

Your question and comments are rude. This is a site that exposes the New Age movement for its dangers..."News and views of Constance Cumbey concerning "Radical Middle", New Age Movement, Communitarianism, "planetary humanism", "global governance", European Union, Javier Solana, Jeremy Rifkin, "New Age Politics, law in the USA, combined with life in general -- sometimes humorous, sometimes not!"

So many writers here have introduced the topic "end times" into the discussion which is their right as it is an open discussion. Many believers in end times have added very solid information about the New Age movement. But since the topic has been introduced and this is not an exclusively Christian prophecy discussion site, which I would never intrude into with such a question, I presume someone may have given my question some thought in the past and I would like to know the thinking behind the comments.

Anonymous said...

anonymous at 10.37

Sorry if my comments were taken to be rude by you, as I was quite serious.

If, as Christians, we have to explain why we think prophesy is important, then I would think that it must not be very important to you. That is why I am wondering why you are interested in what people are posting here, as the things discussed are primarily related to the prophesy in the Bible.

Regarding the New Age Movement, this is a sign of the times, and prophesy speaks of being aware of end time deception. We ignore it at our peril.

Prophesy in the Bible talks extensively about a world leader who is coming, he will come in by stealth, looking like he is a peacemaker. He will be deceptive.

He will be accepted by the Jews as Messiah, as Jesus himself said that although He came in the name of the Father, the Jews would reject Him, but one day somebody will come in his own name and him, they would accept.

If you don't think we should be looking out for somebody like that, then I am not understanding where you are coming from. I also believe we have a duty to inform the Jews about this. Most may not listen, but some will.

Considering also, that Javier Solana has a mother who has been heavily involved with the New Age Movement, then it is legitimate that he would be a person of great interest to people who are following prophesy.

Also, that Javier Solana now is about one of the most powerful men on earth, and he has appeared almost from nowhere, and is considered as a negotiator regarding peace in the Middle East. This man should be of great interest to all Christians, because the Bible speaks of such a thing as the 'Mark of the Beast' that all people will have to receive in order to live in the World that this coming world Dictator will set up.

We are also warned about the coming persecution of Christians, yet given the hope to believe that Our Beloved Jesus is at the very point of His returning.

All prophesy, all relevant. As I said before we ignore prophesy at our peril.

The New Age movement is a great deception, and its main enemy is the Word of God as found in the Bible.

It is an enemy to us as Christians, as it flows from Satanic influences, otherwise why would we care, we would be like most other people, and not be concerned.

The New Age movement is a dangerous movement to every monotheist. I am well aware of your information on New Age. End times material has been with us for hundreds of years, connected with endless associations with individuals, political groups, organizations. That someone associates the New Age movement with end times does not make the movement more dangerous in and of itself though it may make believers in end times more aware of what is happening around them.

The two things can be studied together or separately. Factual material can be found when studying New Age trends, but end times study is speculation. There is a danger in putting them together however. Those not interested in end times study may lose interest in learning about New Age. Those interested in end time studies but who do not believe it is happening now may lose interest. Learning about New Age is not necessary to make one a good Christian. If things do not happen to some kind of end times timetable, again interest is lost.

Endless speculation on end times takes away from time that might more profitably be used to fight the New Age movement by learning what it is all about. Can good Christians be good citizens and fight the dangerous New Age movement in other ways than in speculating continuously?

A couple of stated new age goals:

1) Establish a new world order;
2) Introduce a new age christ.

The first is a call for a system of global governance and the second is a call to bring forth a spiritual/political leader. Both of these goals ARE end time prophecies. Therefore, it's not really speculation--I for one see it as fulfillment.

Just a comment. If there is no such thing as Christian end times speculation, then one major topic of this blog would no longer be hear. Actually make that 2, maybe even more. 1 Javier Solana. The final proof of who he is, is not in. 2 The new age things to come are based on a trac record so to speek. But guessing what they will do next is a way to prepare you of what is to come. Someone will eventually get it right, and no it doesn't have to be after the fact. This is also speculation. Now I am not against this at all. There is a lot of speculation on the Bible. We do not have every little bit of history past, present or future. We still like to know how the pieces of the puzzle fit together. We are a group of people who desire knowledge. Speculation is also a part of war, even though it is based on gathered information ahead of time. Sometimes you are right sometimes you are wrong. To say that people get uninthused because of speculation is truly idiotic! Those people should take more interest and keep looking for themselves. If they don't have the stamina to listen to speculation then how do you expect them to weed through all the bull? It takes work. No patience, no info! As far as witnessing, it does make you more effective this day and age to try to know and study prophecy. People are not looking for the love that God has to share. So sometimes all you have to offer them is a boot to the head. Prophecy has a way of doing that. By the way, prophecy SHOULD make you a better and more diligent Christian! Read 1 Thess. Ch.5. It is relating to prophecy to come and how we should act as we see the day aproaching. It should make us a more effective witness, not stupidly destuctive. And people who witness to others know the difference! By the way, if we were to mention the possibility of sept. 11 ahead of time that could be considered speculation now couldn't it? Now we are forced to speculate what the enemies will do before they do it. That means the enemies of Christianity as well. We have been warned ahead of time, now we have to try to fit the pieces. Speculation is sometimes necessary. And if it is done through a person that is not willing to admit they are wrong, then shame on them. Inventors, did they do everything through just past trac records and calculated information? Absolutely not. Thomas Edison's inventions, half were by accident. Albert Ienstien with only 10% of his brain working as told by doctors, relied very heavy on speculation with his formulas. To this day they are very accurate. A lot of research starts from just speculating.

Oh please Rich. Give it a break. Haven't you ever looked at all of the websites that deal with prophecy. All of them can't be correct and they contradict each other. It reminds me of my mother who was always complaining that each year was the worst ever. One day she said "I thought every year was the worst ever, but I was wrong and this year for sure is the worst ever."

The Bible gives many clues but it is speculation that relates the clues to current events. World War I and World War II suddenly didn't become less horrible
because end times speculation didn't work out. Do you want to go further back? How much end times speculation about these wars led to serious action on the part of those writing about the speculations? Probably very, very little.

Child of God, you are right about speculation often leading to a conclusion, but there is so much information about New Age that it seems to me that much speculation is just thumb twiddling while things get worse. Christianity does not need to be validated by a correct answer to who is the false prophet.

For more years than I care to enumerate, I've heard Christians saying they don't have to do anything because it is end times and in a few years everything will take care of itself and it is beyond their ability to do anything anyway.

I do recognize that everyone is given free will and the ability to choose what they want to do. I just thought I would try to get a solid answer as to what good the endless speculation does.

For the moment, I'll humor you and make the assumption that this isn't a fulfillment of prophecy. Are you suggesting that we stop warning people of the emerging system? Do you see it as all wonderful? From what I've read of their intentions, it looks as though more people should be sounding the alarm.

Rich, I'll humor you. Provide me with some solid research that shows where the results of endless end times speculation leads to changes in the behavior and beliefs of a large number of people. I mean the kind of speculation that worries whether the antichrist was Hitler and the time frame is long or whether it is King Carlos of Spain or the Vatican or the current Pope or Gorbachev or countless other people.

If you took all of the end times speculation out of Herb's work for instance, he would still have provided a solid, logical, consistent body of information regarding changes in the Middle East and Europe. He may have a set of core beliefs about end times and he believes his research verifies his beliefs. Constance didn't start her research on the New Age movement based on end times speculation. Some end times theories fit into her research, but all of her research is not based around end times speculation.

Research on the New Age movement goes way beyond end times speculation as it covers a much larger area of research. A solid job of researching doesn't make major leaps, for example, as "Newt Gingrich>One World Government>New Age>Bible research>end of discussion. It takes a lot of time and work to put those pieces together. You can't start from end times speculation to gather the pieces of New Age research.

The New Age movement is a threat to Jews and Christians. It would do a lot more good if end times speculators researched who is involved in this threat, what is the threat, the time frame, where is it taking place, why is it taking place and how it is taking place. Write it up making sure not to bear false witness, write up the footnotes and do a bibliography. Then spread the word. That would be a solid warning.

So what you are really saying is that you don't want us to discuss New Age religion and the New World Order, as related to end times prophecy then?

You are not making sense, because it is all related.

New World Order, New Age Religion, it's all interconnected, (how else are they going to impose their false God on us, without a One World Government). There are so many influencial, powerful, people involved in it. So you don't want us to relate any of this to Biblical prophecy.

Javier Solana must have come into contact with New Age religion as his mother was closely involved with it.

Javier Solana is also on his way to leading a One World Government. So you don't want us to speculate that this man is a likely candidate for being the guy who is referred to in the Bible as the Anti Christ.

Presumably, according to your thinking, nor should we mention that he took power under the European Union Declaration No 666.

Like I already said, you are not making sense to me as a Christian, and I am wondering if you are also a Christian, or somebody who just wants to discuss New Age issues, without any mention of Christianity.

Anonymous said...

As I said, you have free will to discuss whatever you want to discuss, just as I have free will to say what I wish to say. As of now no one has answered my original question which is how does endless speculation about end times add to information about the New Age movement.

I do not believe information about end times is inextricably tied to information about the New Age movement. There is more substantial documentation tying New Age to other areas of study such as communism, socialism, secret societies, occult history, cults, mind control programs, liberal and conservative politics, the history of New Age infiltration into various religious groups and many other areas where speculation is not needed because there is documentation.

Discussing Christianity as a belief system opposed to and endangered by New Age manipulation is a valid topic that Christians do not seem to care about. I do wish they would care more. Do you want to give it a try?

I picked this up at a church where a graduation was being held. It was from a piece by Richard Abanes, a reputable writer who, among a dozen other books, wrote The Truth Behind the DaVinci Code.

"Some fans of the novel, however, point to Brown's listing of "historians" who have "chronicled in exhaustive detail" the bloodline of Christ in books. Margaret Starbird, Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh, Henry Lincoln, Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince (p 253). Such a list would indeed be significant if any of these persons were actually historians. But none of them are. Starbird has a master of arts in comparative literature and German. Baigent holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and is pursuing a master of arts in mysticism. Leigh is a novelist and short story writer. Lincoln gained notoriety as a BBC television personality and scriptwriter. And Picknett, along with Prince, is deeply involved in occultism, the paranormal and UFO studies."

The reviews suggest that the movie is boring compared to the book, but reading the reviews suggests the movie will be seen by many as a learning experience rather than a potboiler mystery.

Even before all of the studies came out about this book, the best seller book, Holy Blood, Holy Grail, by Baigent and Leigh, on which Brown's book is loosely based, showed a link to the occult when the poem at the beginning was translated from the French. The imagery connected with the flower the lotus was the major clue. If either Jewish or Christian writers had done a better job in exposing that book a number of years ago, there would have been no Dan Brown book. Twenty-five years of laziness by the Christian and Jewish establishment has let the New Age movement develop. Our supposed guardians were sleeping.

Constance Cumbey said...

There was no laziness in exposing this on my part and in many of my speeches and radio interviews, I talked extensively about HOLY BLOOD, HOLY GRAIL, the Baigent I'm glad you think Richard Abanes is a reputable author. I would highly dispute that. He may be considered valid and thorough in some circles, but I do not share that respect. He worked very hard to marginalize my legitimate work against the New Age Movement. He also unfairly tried to tie me in with various anti-Semitic militia interests, knowing well (if he actually read my book, at least he should have known) that I stood in staunch opposition to those factions. Now he is working equally hard to legitimate Rick Warren's church and very soft theology. Rick Abanes was one of the more influential voices trying to silence me as I warned against the very themes which are now part of the DaVinci Code craze. If folks don't know, it's not my fault. It may be, however, Rick Abanes'. He was one seeking to marginalize a very informed voice speaking strongly against it!

Constance Cumbey said...

For the record, Rick Abanes is a member of Warren Smith's Saddleback Church. Of course, he also says he is a singer, dancer, and actor. The latter, particularly, I can well believe -- an actor!

Your note, Constance, only proves that just because it's called Christian doesn't mean it is reliable. Information with the Christian label, just as from any other source, may or may not be reliable these days. I picked up the paper version of the article, but it's also here at the church's website. The article looked good and I thought the church's bulletin could be trusted.

There is so much to know and so few trustworthy sources. I intend to send your commments on to the church, not that I expect them to do anything, but just so they are warned.

Marianne was his THIRD WIFE and this new "squeeze" would be number four. Don't know how many "intervening variables" there were apart from those four ladies. The New Age Movement is also happy hunting grounds for those allegedly seeking "soulmates"

To whoever the Anon. is that is discussing end times speculation: You wanted an answer of what good end times speculation does for making a change in christians. I seem to get the impression that you do not want to admit to some of the ideas that have been presented to you. Even when they are compared with the Bible you intentionally try to refute them just because you can. Not because it makes sense too. That song by Terri Clark named "Poor Poor Pitiful Me" seems to fit the occasion trying to view your perspective of arguing everything to try to make your opinion more valid than others. Now I'm not trying to come across harsh here, but you don't seem to be getting the point. It seems to me that you may be up to speed on the new age agenda, but not the Bible prophecies that lead to it or the other prophecies as well. You would not be saying it is all speculation. I also get the impression that you are offended by particular views on end times events that haven't happend yet. Like you've been educated by a religion of the Bible and conforming just to the views of a particular denomination. Most of the people who get irritated on end times speculation are either atheist or belong to a denomination that argues to death that their denomination is the only one that matters. Therefore they get offended at someone's views that don't agree with their's. I seriously hope I'm wrong; And I would love it if I was. On the other hand maybe you belonged to a church that argued certain points to death that didn't add up, and that drove you away personally. That's possible, I was there once. There are a lot of verses that are now being exposed as prophecy that had not been in the past. So to argue that we have heard this stuff for centuries is ridiculous. Prophecy should make a difference in the Christians life! If you are too busy trying to figure out how come it hasn't done it to people you are watching, than watching others is your problem. Watch yourself and apply the prophecies to make a change in your own life, and open your eyes. I did, and I'm different because of it and also proud of it. I just hope Jesus views it the same way and gives me rewards for it. Time to start thinking about what others write before just automatically responding in an arguing manner. I can personally say that this website has taught me a lot on new age ideas and agendas. I was extremely uneducated to the new age stuff. However I am still not up to speed on all the views and articles mentioned here. But I am thankful to Constance that she has provided this information along with the others that participate here. My only wish is that more people would use some sort of name. Not for recognition, but it makes it easier to communicate. After a while you start to recognize certain styles of comments from people, but names would be easier.

Child of God, I wrote earlier that many who are concerned with end times have added valuable material regarding New Age to the discussion. You exhibit the morality, kindness and decency that makes someone a good Christian.

However end times speculation strikes me as being similar to a very hard New York Times crossword puzzle. You can work for hours on the puzzle making everything come out right, but in the end all you have is a filled out crossword puzzle and a fulfilled feeling.

Sometimes Constance's research is hard for me to follow. I have to scramble to keep up. That alphabet soup of organizations out of Brussels could put me to sleep if I didn't force myself to try and understand.

I think it is a good time to ask Constance what are some of the initial steps in learning about the New Age movement, something easy to understand and check out at the library or on line. Maybe she will start with end times speculation for those wanting to start there.

MOST INTERESTING, I tried to show a client "Section 666" of the Europa documents today. Curiously, it was no longer available for public view, a first since I discovered it a couple of years ago. I have preserved numerous copies of the document and I hope most of you have as well. They do play this lovely little game of "now you see us, now you don't"! Maybe their EUROPA website was down for servicing. Curiously, it showed up on Google.com nowehre, not even on the cached pages feature. It showed up only on the cache on Yahoo! Use the search terms as follows to find it there:

Constance, I innocently made a comment about Abanes, taking a Christian source as a valid source. I sent a copy of the comments here to a lady at the church that used the Abanes article. She wrote back saying she couldn't tell what you thought about the Brown book or Holy Blood, Holy Grail. Doing a search I didn't find anything. What are your comments on Brown's book, the film, and the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail?

To me it is obviously a push toward getting people to think in New Age terms. Hitler, the individual who took the New Age movement and ran with it in Germany, made it a point of separating Jesus from Judaism. He supported the idea that Jesus got his ideas from the Middle East where he traveled before the final three years.

Now New Age believers think that Jesus was a human who reincarnated enough times to grow spiritually and was appointed to take people from the Age of Aries to the Age of Pisces, Christianity, two thousand years ago. According to them the age of Pisces is over with and we are now to enter the Age of Aquarius where men are to be co-creators with God. Judaism is holding people back and Christianity

The book and the film both take the first step and present Jesus as a mere human, though not presenting him as someone who reincarnated so many times, enough to help make the transition.

Your views please.

Now that I've researched Abanes, I see that he is one of the bandwagon guys and not a serious researcher. This is giving him the benefit of the doubt as one could also see him as a disinformation individual who wants to throw people off the track they need to be on to get the truth.

THE DA VINCI CODE is as its predecessor book, HOLY BLOOD, HOLY GRAIL, a direct attack on both Christianity and Judaism. It takes a false premise (Jesus married) and builds inference upon inference upon its false premise.) It is NEW AGE sponsored and promoted in just about every sense of the word from its endorsers to its promoters and distributers (a BIG FAVORITE in Unity Church bookstores such as Renaissance Unity in Warren, Michigan). I have had long day and am preparing for a criminal trial next week. Will have more to say later, but there is NO WAY I can improve on Don Feder's column. Google using search terms "Don Feder" AND "DaVinci". I rolled around laughing as I read it, especially when he came to the name of a probable forthcoming sequel!

Anonymous said...

I went to Google and got overwhelmed with all kinds of links. Here is where you will find the one you want to read about the DaVinci Code. http://www.donfeder.com/

Do take the time to read his report of V for Vapid film review. Feder has really zeroed in on some hot material.

Anonymous said...

Yes, that is the best review of the film that I've seen. The book was so sneaky because it presented itself as information that could only be presented in fiction because it had been so surpressed. I saw at the bottom of the column that Feder's article first appeared at www.GrasstopsUSA.org, not a widely read blog.

Heck one could make a conspiracy of the fact that donfeder.com doesn't even appear in the several hundred links to the key words. Censorship at Google? No, can't be!! Not even after the Google linking Constance with all of the thousands of porn sites and only the backing down after she said legal work was being done.

Can we possibly be living in the memory hole described in the novel 1984? Heck, 85% of the people described in the book didn't have a clue.

Truth is so elusive in today's world. Value and respect it when you actually find it as here.

Anonymous said...

Feder's columns are a keyhole into an entirely new world of how we view ourselves. Try a few links to see how some of us diverge from the New Age view of life.

WND NUCLEAR WAR-FEAR
Iran's secret plan if attacked
codenamed 'Judgment Day'
8 Islamist groups funded to strike
U.S. military, economic interests

Tehran has recruited and funded eight Islamic fundamentalist organizations to undertake retaliatory strikes against U.S. and British military and economic interests across the Middle East – and perhaps in the U.S. and Europe – in the event Iran's nuclear facilities are attacked, reports a London Arab daily, Asharq Al-Awsat.

The plan, which has been heavily funded and was created by a number of experts in guerilla warfare and terrorist operations, includes suicide attacks against U.S. and British targets in the region as well as their allies. According to information gleaned from a senior source in the Iranian armed forces' joint chief of staff, logistical support for the groups that would participate in the plan comes from Brigadier General Qassim Suleimani of the of the Revolutionary Guards' al Quds Brigades.

"Most of Iran's visitors in the last four months, including the leaders of revolutionary groups in Iraq, Palestine and Lebanon, as well as the heads of Hezbollah cells in the Persian Gulf and Europe and North America were asked, when they met with the Iranian intelligence minister Gholamhossein Mohseni Ezhei and his aides: 'Are you ready to defend the Islamic revolution and vilayat e faqih (rule of the clergy)?'" the source said. "'If you agree to take part in the great jihad, what would you need to be ready for the great fight?'"

The leader of one of the Iraq groups that is part of the "Judgment Day" plan told the Iranians his men would turn Iraq into hell for Americans in the event of an attack on Iran. The Revolutionary Guards' military training camps have been made available to Moqtada al Sadr's Mahdi Army. Al Sadr has received more than $20 million from the Iranians.

Street-fighting training has been given in Isfahan, Iran, to members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, as well as large sums of money and large quantities of arms.

As reported by WorldNetDaily, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has recruited Imad Mugniyah, the Lebanese commander of Hezbollah's overseas operations, to oversee retaliation against Western targets following any U.S. strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.

Officers sent to southern Lebanon last month are in command of more than 10 thousand rockets aimed at Israel's cities. It is believed they've been given control of Hezbollah's missiles to attack Israel if Iran's nuclear sites are hit. U.S. officials and Israel intelligence sources believe Mugniyah is in charge of these operations.

"When and if the Iranians decide to hit the West in its soft belly, Imad will be the one to act," a Western intelligence source said.

Approximately 80 members of Hezbollah received training last year in ultralight aircraft and undersea operations in order to carry out suicide attacks.

Implementation of the plan is set to begin immediately following a strike on Iran's nuclear facilities and would progress in six stages:

* U.S. bases in Iraq and the Persian Gulf region to be struck by Iranian missiles.

* Suicide attacks in a number of Muslim countries against U.S. embassies, military bases, economic and oil-related facilities tied to U.S. and British firms, and targets in countries allied with the U.S.

* Attacks by Revolutionary Guards and Iraqi insurgents loyal to Iran against U.S. and British forces in Iraq.

* Hundreds of rockets launched by Hezbollah against pre-selected targets in Israel.

* If U.S. military attacks continue, more than 50 Shehab-3 missiles will be launched against Israel and 50 terrorist cells in the U.S., Canada and Europe will be given approval to launch attacks against civil and industrial targets in those countries.

* Maximize civilian casualties with germ agents and "dirty bombs.

*****It's unfortunate, but I believe if we're thinking in realistic terms, then it's only a matter of time before Mr. "Javier" likely becomes Mr. "Western Leader," leading eventually to Mr. "World Leader."

Muslims were upset over satirical cartoons. However, the Davinci Code is such an blasphemous insult to us Christians, yet the protests aren't quite extreme. Some Christians even give the story an excuse by saying it spurs thought producing discussions.

As for Rich Abanes I haven't really read much of his stuff, but I've read some disturbing statements he made concerning Christians who pay attention to Biblical end-time prophecy. He certainly is against the idea. Rick Warren also believes this as well. Rick Warren uses a passage in Acts out of context to justify his belief that Christians should not read end-time prophecies. It figures Rich Abanes is a member of Saddleback Church. All they need now are roller-coasters and a prayer labyrinth the size of many fun houses. They could draw more people than Disneyland.

Anonymous 7:36, of course I haven't folded my cards, and of course I believe we can "take out" Iran's nuclear facilities; this is not in question. The following article is one that was posted on March 24th of the ProphecyNewsWatch update; unfortunately the server's not allowing me to get to the original link, which I believe was posted in the Jerusalem Post. I most definetely agree with Mr. Bernsten that it would be no problem at all for the United States to launch airstrikes w/bunker buster bombs, thereby taking out Iran's nuclear sites. However, my concern--and I believe it to be a valid (realistic) concern--is what happens "after?" Anyway, here's the article:

'US could wipe out Iran nukes in 2 days'

Another voice has been added to those who believe that air strikes should halt Iran's quest to develop nuclear weapons.

Gary Berntsen, the former senior CIA operative who led the search for Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan in late 2001, believes the United States has the ability to easily destroy Iran's nuclear facilities. He said the US could use bunker-buster bombs and other weapons to carry out the operation.

"We can dig those things out. We can destroy them," he told The Jerusalem Post in an interview.

"We can take care of it in a couple of days with air strikes and they wouldn't be able to stop us," he added. "It wouldn't be difficult to plan. They'd be some dangers but I think the United States can do it." Berntsen, who left the CIA in June last year after more than 20 years of service, believes it will be difficult to persuade Iran to stop its nuclear program.

"I know the Iranians. I've worked against the Iranians for years. They are determined to get this no matter what, and they will lie and cheat and do whatever they have to do to get themselves a weapon," he said.

Berntsen ruled out covert action because of the scale of Iran's nuclear program.

"This is a huge system of facilities they have. This is not going to be a small sort of engagement. We are probably going to have to destroy 30 facilities in 30 locations. Or at least 15," he said.

Berntsen's comments came after former Pentagon adviser Richard Perle said earlier this month that Iran's prime nuclear facilities could be devastated in one night by a small fleet of US B-2 bombers.

In addition, Moshe Ya'alon, Israel's former chief of General Staff, said the IDF has the capabilities to attack Iran's nuclear facilities and could do it in conjunction with the US and some EU countries. However, Berntsen believes Israel should not carry out any operation.

"It's better for the United States to do it. If you (Israel) do it, we'll have all sorts of problems in the Middle East, all sorts of countries that will align themselves with the Iranians over this. Politically it makes more sense for the US to do it," he said.

Berntsen also ruled out a ground operation.

"This is huge country. There are 70 million people there. It's gigantic. We don't need to be getting into something like that," he said.

However, Berntsen believes that the US should first exhaust all the political options before carrying out a strike.

"We should do what we're doing right now. That means taking them to the United Nations and make this 'the world against Iran,' because the Iranians appear determined to create a weapon," he said.

"If by chance they disarm, then we can avoid this, but if they don't disarm we will need to take care of this ourselves," he said.

"The Iranians have to know that we mean business. They will either disarm or we will destroy their facilities. No ifs, ands, or buts. They present a threat to peace in the Middle East. They present a threat to Israel. We cannot accept that," he added.

Berntsen predicted that if Iran doesn't disarm, President George Bush would carry out an attack regardless of domestic opposition.

"I think that President Bush has demonstrated that he says what he means and he means what he says. A lot of people didn't think he would do Iraq. This is a guy who doesn't put his finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing. President Bush means business.

"The problem right now is that the Iranians are going to miscalculate. They are going to believe that because 2006 is an election year (in Congress), and due to all this political opposition to the president because of Iraq, they're going to think that he's weak in the knees, he can't do it and they're not going to negotiate.

"That would be a very serious mistake for them. They're going to miscalculate. They think he's politically weak and George Bush won't care. He's going to do it anyway when it comes down to it," Berntsen said.

"I believe that we'll get past the mid-term election in 2006 and then the Iranians ought to disarm themselves or suffer the consequences," he added.

Now I thought that was interesting and so I decided to see what else was being said about that date. It turns out that a lot is being said, but looking beyond the surface was interesting also.

Randomly I went to this site:
http://www.godlikeproductions.com/bbs/message.php?
messageid=235572&mpage=1&showdate=5/14/06

which led to:
http://www.threeworldwars.com/june06-2006.htm

Now it seems that the above link was pushing a book called Fresh Wisdom.
http://www.threeworldwars.com/prepare/
rev-fresh-wisdom.htm
Wow, I thought, these people seem to know what the occultists are planning behind the scenes. What other good stuff do they know. So I looked at their page http://www.freshwisdom.com/faq.htm

And what did I see?
"The usual concepts of so-called Christianity as applied to the personhood of Jesus Christ are so limiting as to be 'religious' - that is, part of culthood or 'traditions' and not based upon modern science and discoveries. They are lacking.

"The reality of the matter is that the Initiator of our System actually materialized here in the E4 (our very limited dimension of space and time) in a human form to demonstrate the reality of existence in another dimension E5 (where time is no longer a limiting factor - commonly known to Scientists as the Quantum Domain and to naive (uninformed) religionists as 'heaven'.

"This was demonstrated by a series of E5 (or out of this realm) events which defied our normal rules of possibilities (e.g. walking on water, instantaneous healings, passing through doors, etc). The major miracle being coming back to life after being crucified, to clearly demonstrate the reality of existence in another dimension after this one. Quantum physicists have acknowledged, after studying nano-science (the behavior of particles smaller than atoms and electrons) that it is theoretically possible to walk on water. Research is currently underway to find the correct conditions to make this possible."

Now early on Constance quoted a top New Ager as saying they have something for everybody. The only thing I can suggest is that everybody look closely before they jump on a bandwagon.

The point I was trying to make is not just learnng what our military might do. It's very clear, thanks to the research done here, that Solana is a powerful and dangerous man. It is clear that he comes from a background of powerfully connected people with occult beliefs, a background not known to the average person.

Whether or not he can be labled the antichrist, based on the views of the EU where Solana seems in charge toward religion and Israel, he is clearly a danger to Jews and Christians.

It seems to me that there has to be some sort of powerful modern occult believing network of people that goes back at least over 150 years. All of those involved in the New Age movement can't just be deluded followers. And yes, I know about Bohemian Grove, Coleman, Icke, Maars Bilderbergers, CFR, Trilaterals, Freemasons and most of the other hot button names that take up time and yet give no real answers. And yes, I've read Windswept House, about Skull and Bones, the Aquarian Conspiracy and about secret societies in England. Unfortunately no one is updating James Webb's material.

Solana doesn't stand by himself. Who is in the network behind him? Who is in the occult power structure that has been able to infiltrate the religions? Who brought Solana's name to the table when Clinton and the CIA wanted him to head NATO? If there is an occult network, is there representation among Islamic followers? From where does Solana get his power? If they say Follow The Money, where is the money line here?

Know something? I don't think I will ever get the answers to those questions. So to me whether or not Solana is the antichrist is not important. To me what is important is where the pagan and occult beliefs are growing and who is pushing them. Until Solana is proclaimed as a religious leader and starts performing miracles, the dangers of the New Age movement are foremost for me because the followers of New Age will be the ones who support whoever the antichrist is.

Whether or not Javier Solana is the antichrist, only the Lord God of Israel & most likely that old dragon Satan know for sure. But when one sifts through & studies all of material related to "Javier," if he's not the one then he's most assuredly a very close second.

Now, as to the the mountainous--redundant--supply of conspiracy sites relating to the occult & those world leaders who may be involved therein; it can only--in my humble opinion--fuel the fevered flames of untempered imaginations. Of course that's not to say that there are not valid truths displayed on these sites concerning all of the occultic influences you mentioned. My problem is, there's absolutely too many half-truths and outright lies mixed with--for want of a better word--a "tablespoon" of truth, thereby causing a massive degree of confusion; in other words, the information flow from these sites--some proclaiming themselves "Christian?"--primarily concerened with the occult, the New Age Movement, & those world leaders & powerful individuals who may be involved with Sorcery/Witchcraft is like a floodgate that has burst at the seams. The key to getting at THE Truth is 100% TRUSTING IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. I do believe Herb Peters & Constance Cumbey are two of the "very few" voices for Jesus Christ who are standing alone on the information highway warning and exhorting at the top of their internet lungs, "WAKE UP CHRISTIANS, THE END IS NEAR, THE FLOODGATES OF APOSTASY HAVE BURST OPEN, AND YOU EITHER OPEN YOUR MINDS AND YOUR HEARTS TO THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, JESUS CHRIST, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, AND TRUST IN HIM TO GUIDE YOU THROUGH, OR PERISH!" But that's just it; the major malfunction of our NEO-MODERN Evangelical televangelists & super duper POSITIVE "SELF ESTEEM" oriented church organizations & the millions of followers caught in this apostate hypocrisy are NOT LISTENING! They have been blinded, and one could liken them to a majority of dumb sheep in the midst of a lightning storm without the Good Shepherd to guide & protect them. In my humble opinion, it's not a leap into the dark to believe we're at the very end of time.

By the way, where will the Beast system & the antichrist get their power from?

Revelation 13:1-2

1. And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

2. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

-AND-

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

All of these prophecies didn't start with Christianity. These prophecies were found in the Bible of the Jews, over 2,000 years ago. Have you ever bothered to see what the Jewish interpretation is?

The German community at the time of the Nazis was even more involved in the occult than we in the US are now involved. The Christians in Germany had the same warnings you see now. Why did most of them ignore the warnings even though they professed a belief in Jesus? The ones who saw the warning didn't think about Hitler as antichrist. They saw the paganism in the Nazi belief system and took action.

Can you possibly see that the battle is not against what some call the antichrist but is against the growing paganism called the New Age movement?

Tell me, where in the messages of Jesus you see a warning about paganism and the occult. The warning is there in the commandments however. I am not saying that Jesus promoted these things because we have no idea what all of his messages were, and he lived life as a Jew where the warning did exist. I am saying that belief in Jesus is not enough. In the last 2,000 years there have been many pagan movement growths that have hurt both Jews and Christians. In the New Age movement we have another.

Anonymous 9:03

I believe every prophecy in the Old Testament & the New Testament is the inerrant & infallible Word Of God. God chose the Jewish people (race) to transcribe His Holy Word (Old Testament) & to faithfully pass it on from generation to generation, including the words of THE WORD OF GOD HIMSELF, Jesus the Christ & the Holy Spirit inspired Word that His disciples transribed (New Testament.)

If I understand you correctly, you're referring solely to the Jewish interpration of the prophecies within the Old Testament. I have no problem with this, as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon, Isaih, Jeremiah, Daniel, etc., Jesus Christ & each one of His twelve disciples were Jewish, and their--through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit--interpration of prophecy is again the inerrant & infallible Word Of God. The only exception to the Jewish transcription of the New Testament Word of God was the gentile Doctor Luke.

Concerning the occultic practices of Hitler, the Nazis & many of the so-called "Christians?" that either directly had a malignant & demonic part in murdering 6,000,000 Jews or turned a half blind eye to this horror, it is beyond doubt that these murdering animals are burning in hell unless they truly repented & asked forgiveness through the Precious Blood Of Jesus The Christ. As to the way the Jewish people, the true Christians & the so-called "Christian?" Nazi sympathizing cowards respectively viewed Hitler, I'm not at present sufficiently educated to give a faithful answer. But my common sense tells me the Jews & true Christians hated everything the man and his "1,000" year Reich stood for, and at the same time were most likely living in a constant state of fear for their lives & the lives of their loved ones.

I believe a wise man once said, "There's nothing new under the sun." One can take a dose of every conceivable belief system since the beginning of time, stir it all up in the sorcerer's brewing pot and come up with any label to slap on it that one could imagine. The New Age Movement is not new or even semi-modern; it's been around since the Serpent (Satan) lied to Adam & Eve by telling them they could be as "gods" if they were to partake of the Tree Of Knowlege Of Good & Evil.

The Babylonians, the Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Asians, adnauseum, all believed in & worshipped their statuesque "gods" & their darkly mysterious "entities." Today, the Hindu, the Muslim, the Buddhist, the Taoist, the humanist, the secular scientist, the apostate "Christian?" ad nauseum, continue to believe in & worship their respective statuesque "gods" & their darkly mysterious "entities."

So we take a little bit of the Babylonian Mystery Religion & the Pharoah loving Egyptian "astronomical" belief system, a dose or two of Roman & Greek mythology, & then finely grind the bitter gall (offshoots) of Hinduism, Islamofascism, Buddhism, Taoism, humanism, apostate Christianity, ad nauseum, and what do we have as a modern day brew? The New Age Movement. And everyone is a little "god" in and among themselves and the inverted cross (peace symbol), "free & open love" & psychics, and crystals, & this and that and all that weird (evil) stuff. Satan's lie = New Age Movement = Paganism = Hell.

"...nothing's new under the sun."

Now to your question:
QUOTE
Can you possibly see that the battle is not against what some call the antichrist but is against the growing paganism called the New Age movement?
ENDQUOTE

And here's the only answer that is faithful & true, God's Holy Word:

1 John 4:1-6

1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

6. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

You and I definitely think differently though we may come to similar conclusions. You make grand, sweeping generalizations based on research that others have done that you've read and agreed with. Without that research painstakingly done by others, your conclusions are fluffly air bubbles. That is why I cannot take what you say seriously no matter how well meaning you are. Other than quotes from the Bible, nothing you say can be checked out in the real world.

I have taken the time to painstakingly check out everything I have to say because I believe strongly in the commandments, one of which is to not bear false witness.

I've made it a point to try and understand why everyone acted as they did where the Holocaust was concerned. What I saw was lack of understanding about the changes taking place and evil came over people like a cloud. The crowds were rationalizing and they saw only "good" developing with Hitler's plans. It was easy to see and yell about the brutish physical assaults, but very few were looking at the basis for these assaults. Even now book after book gives quick and easy reasons for the German attack on morality. A deeper understanding only comes from looking at item after item, book after book.

While what you write may be a personal comfort for you, it will do nothing to get those who are following the New Age movement to review their outlook.

Perhaps our goals are different. You are selling a belief in Christianity. I am trying to sell knowledge of the changes taking place so that other are not sucked into the dangers coming with the New Age movement, something many Christians as well as others are buying into.

If there is someone who doesn't realize how serious the battle is, they need to read this news from Barry Chamish who has been exposing the New Age manipulations in Israel, though he doesn't use the term, for many years. I personally know of two people who were knowledgeable and died mysteriously.

IT'S TIME TO GO by Barry Chamish

"If any of my readers haven't heard from me for the past three
weeks, it's because I've been dying. On the night of Independence Day, I
was driving home from Jerusalem when I was hit head-on by a so far unknown driver. Except for eight seconds when the brave
ambulance drivers from ZAKA permitted me to use the phone to call home.,

"I remember almost nothing for the next four days. But other people helped me put it together. Visitors such as Iris Mersel, were forcibly removed from near my presence while I was forced to fight for my life. My body was punctured in the chest and lungs and in fact I had reached the point of traumatic shock.I was barely kept alive by one lung which had turned atelectic. When the lung chose to breath out, my body chose to die, or look a lot like it.

"I am not going to tell you my suspicions as I hadn't after my recent stroke, But the police are putting up every barrier to an honest investigation by my insurance company and my attorney Dov Even Or.

"During my time in the hospital, Baruch from Kedumim persuaded me that I had to leave the country to save my life and prevent tragedy to my children. I know he is right and I plan to take a year off to write the ultimate book on popular Judaism...if there is somewhere for me to go.

"Over the years people have offered me places to stay that is their
home. I have rejected this for fear of smelling like a stale fish. At this moment I am invited to Toronto for the same reasons, and am rejecting the offer for the same pretexts.

"There are two options; one is you find a way to invite me which I pay
for through a lecture. The second is that I'm offered work in Canada where I hold citizenship. If you can help me, phone me at 11-97289752937.

"After coming home from the hospital I received over three thousand e-mails and dozens of phone calls. To the e-mails I say be patient. To
the phone callers, please call again."

I saw a comment here on how the people believed in Hitler and Christians allowed him to kill the Jews. New age beliefs or whatever else could fall into the category of deceptions, I think the biggest deception of all, even with the Christians during that time was replacement theology. I believe that it personally lead people to want to be decievd out of jealousy. How can Christians allow such mass murder where everyone sees it happening? Guilt and envy. Replacement theology also guided Hitler. I am not claiming that Hitler was a Christian, but he took advantage of some of the destructive false Christian beliefs and got them on board. Might it happen again? It sure has a chance very soon I would say. As this theology is being exposed for what is is, hatred, other entities are stepping to the plate to absorb this anti Jewish crap before its destructive patterns can be exposed. But hitler in turn took out the Christians following the Jews. Was this a punishment for replacement theology? Maybe, but if it was, it looks like its about to happen again unlees we do something real soon.

Dear Sir/Mamn:

It's not my goal or purpose to either argue or debate the nature & malignant extent regarding the New Age Movement which has spread like wildfire across the globe. I leave that to those who have been called by God to expose the rabid and occultic characteristics of this evil belief system.

Without having researched the detailed intricacies of the "movement," I would simply state from an informally educated & God given common sense perspective that the New Age Movement is EVIL/SATANIC. Period.

But there is one very important point I stand by regardless:

I would much rather "quote" scripture from God's Holy Word than all of the books that have ever been written since the beginning of time.

AND I QUOTE:

Galations 5:14-26

14. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

15. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

16. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

18. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

19. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

May God Bless & Keep You & Yours, Anonymous 11:37am.

They were having a discussion over at littlegreenfootballs about the leftist slant of Google, how the right side of politics blogs are ignored there. (Remember my comment about Feder's column being missing there the other day.)

Someone posted a link to a page that contains many search engines.
http://conservativeusa.org/search.htm

So I decided to see what would happen if I put "constance cumbey" into Euroseek.net. Fascinating results. Take a look.

http://www.euroseek.net/query?query=%22constance+cumbey%22
Search Results ( 1-10 of 9160 )
The search can also be done by language. Check out how many languages are used to describe her work. I put in "constance cumbey" and Solana for even more information.

(Yes, this is your anonymous friend from Illinois.)

http://www.therant.us/staff/nsalvato/how_secular_is_new_age_education.htm
So here I am in Illinois, getting the school's newsletter. My sons are way past school age, so I've taken virtually no interest in what is happening in the schools.

Now doesn't this sound impressive?
"A world of discovery will await students attending the new magnet school in District 201-U. The new K-8 school of choice will replace Hickory elementary and is set to open this fall. Utilizing the Primary Years Program developed by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), the school's international curriculum is organized around six themes that will give students different ways to look at the world...
"The IBO is a 28 year old nonprofit educational organization with a proven record of success working with schools. There are over 1,300 IBO schools in 112 countries."

Read the information given at the link. New Age is in the school in your neighborhood while you may have been thinking of all of the prestige that came with an international curriculum. Heck maybe they were grooming your child to be the next ambassador to Spain for all you knew.

How nice, our school Superintendent wrote a note to parents: Creating A Global Community...As we enter this new and exciting chapter in the academic lives of our children, let us too, seize the opportunity to think globally and act locally."

Now if you think you can fight this, why you don't know these people.
http://www.ibo.org/ibna/actionpacks/documents/CSAttacksPress.PDF
Here is a case study of a press attack on the IBO from Bloomfield, Michigan.

If you are interested in more information, just put in "IBO" and "New Age" into your search engine.
There is much information available.

I thought I would also share this little bit of information which came courtesty of the Illinois Right to Life Committee News.

Research on "Brain Dead" and "Almost Dead" Patients Declared Ethical

"...Some medical researchers have decided that it is ethical to perform research on "brain dead" patients. A very outrageous article on this new abuse of disabled patients appeared in the January 3, 2006 Chicago Sun-Times. Researchers can use these brain dead patients to try new joint replacement techniques, check the effectiveness of new drugs to stabilize irregular heartbeats, test new alternatives to respirators, etc.....M.D. Anderson (Cancer Center in Texas) researcher Dr. Wadih Arap said that in research projects the soon-to-be-dead can ethically be treated the same way as the recently dead. Arap used this unconscious patient in a study on targeting drugs to specific sites in the boedy. Arap injected genetically modified viruses that had identification tags and moved through the body like drugs.

Ah yes.

I am just getting word from Yahoo Internet News that there may be a compromise in the works among The Security Council of The UN between Europe and Russia and China. Sanctions if Iran doesn't comply, but also a promise to drop the military option if China and Russia goes along.

Like, Israel is really going to buy this comprise! For their sake, I sure hope not, they would be crazy to do so!

I looked at the International Baccalorate programs at some of the websites. It may have started out as a program to give children of diplomate a common set of information, but now it is a nothing but a New Age program classes which are supposed to change the attitudes of the students involved. Many colleges do not accept the programs the children are given because there is not enough content, definitely not as much solid information as in the Advanced Placement classes children take elsewhere.

I wonder how many years away is the time when schools are full of "dumb" scholars who have taken the IBO programs.

eureferendum.blogspot.com has a good report on bad Amnesty International. Link to it on the first page here.

Dear people, just in case, just in case, it's not end times, you need to keep learning what the New Age movement is about. If it's end times, it sure would be easier on everyone We would just have to stand around and wait for things to happen around us and in a certain short period of time it would be over. No one expects John who lives in Akron to stop Solana for example.

If it's New Age, everyone's responsibility is greater to keep the faith and fight the system. Those who did so during the WWII years and the Soviet years have helped preserve the freedoms we still have.

Right now I am reading a book titled Witness by Josyp Terelya with Michael Brown. It is the story of the long fight of Josyp to keep the Catholic faith alive in the Ukraine in the face of Soviet persecution of Christians. He was in and out of Soviet prisons and mental institutions, saved only because his parents were high ranking communists. He was not the only one who worked at this God-given task.

The story is one of the destruction of churches, the jailing of priests, the clandestine printing presses and handwritten copies of prayers and Bible studies. It didn't take place in the far distant past. The story started in the fifties and continued thru the 70s and 80s. Stories that have been ignored and forgotten by both church and lay people today.

Now I don't know about the supernatural visions he claims to have had or that he claims to have see Raul Wallenberg in prison. His efforts outside of those things are more important. What also did fascinate me in particular were little bits of things referred to. The book came out in 1991. He refers a widespread belief that Karl Marx was involved with Satanism, something I came to accept after reading Wurmbrand's book. He talked about the growth of the New Age movement in Russia. It confirmed what had been written by a Soviet professor in a Vidal Sassoon publication. He wrote that the prison officials wanted to attribute his supernatural experiences to yoga and to learn how he did it. He talked of the power of Freemasonry in the Soviet Union. Now I know that has been a hot potato topic, but ever since I read Foster Bailey's book and some other material coming from Freemasons I've seen how that secretive organization could be used as a cover for other activities. Lenin's family background, so apart from Jewish ways, was also of interest.

How many times does history have to repeat itself before we catch on?

I watched Katie Couric interview John McCain this morning. She asked McCain about his recent public criticism of Jerry Falwell. In case any missed it, McCain points to Fallwell as an illustration of intolerance. Hmmm, do you suppose the slings and arrows were staged? I suspect that once the United Religions Initiative declares success, we’ll see Falwell shed a few crocodile tears, meet with his friend Rev. Moon and re-emerge as an enlightened man! Just my opinion.

RichInMedford

You are right Rich. Falwell talks a good game, but actions speak louder than words. He took the Church League's records when it folded and they are unaccessible.

From a left wing source. However, Church League material was excellent in showing communist subversion of our culture.

"One former key counter-subversion outfit, the Church League of America, collapsed early in the Reagan years due to an internal schism. The Church League, which once claimed the National Council of Churches was a communist front, shipped its 7 million index cards and 200 file cabinets full of material on "subversives" to the library at Rev. Jerry Falwell's Liberty University where it was stored in a warehouse and saw little if any use."

The Moral Majority was a paper organization. Excellent newsletter at the beginning, but it went down hill quickly. There may have been a chapter or two around the country, but it was primarily a paper organization that conveyed a media image rather than doing anything.

He's a member of CNP, Council for National Policy, a very secretive rightwing group with some less than noble members.

In the battle against the ERA, Falwell appeared on television continuously. However the battle against the ERA, despite media claims, was a sham.

Spotlighting media conservative celebrities like Falwell was a way for the media to avoid putting real conservatives and their research on the air.

I seem to suspect a little tension towards our dear brother Jerry. I know some things have gone wrong in the past with financial aspects of the association, but I get the feeling that there is a bias against him. It seems to me that most of it is through the grape vine and not first hand. I was a member of his church, as well as his school during his developing years on the mountain and I can tell you first hand that politics and money has no control over his beliefs. It is the exact opposite for sure. His beliefs are to influence politics. As far as John Boy Mcain is concerned, hes got his own agenda. Its not conservative either. The guy speeks as a lamb, but is a wolf waiting for opportunity. For John Mcain to speak badly about Jerry makes me feel even better. When he doesn't speek bad about Jerry, thats when I'll get nervous. I feel bad that Jerry has been a target. He has brought millions to Jesus world wide. If I'm not mistaken it seems to me that the anon. of 2:11 is tying him to acommunism agenda. I could be wrong. As far as 200 filing cabinets being shipped to Liberty University in the early Reagen years, now I know that is hot air. It is either taken from intentional lying sorces, or it is propaganda. There was no Liberty University in the early Reagan years! It was a mountain side still covered with trees. Not a dirt road in sight! In fact I walked across an old unexploded land mine of some sort as well as many cannon balls from the civil war. Couple of old run down farmhouses. Now as far as the suposed 'Rev' Moon, Rich I have bean taken back a little. I know Jerry's relation with the cultist Moon. Jerry is a real Christian friend. He's been trying to win him to Christ for decades. He's not becoming Moon by any strech of the immagination. Moon did give Jerry money in the past, but it was put to good use, spreading the gospel. Not buying off Jerry. If Moon would have tried to bribe him or buy him off, I can assure you that moon would have been knocked out cold. Ask Jerry's sons as well as the congregation. He is a man of God with no wobbly spine. He would firmly chose death before giving up his firm convictions in the Bible. I think there should be a little more investigation on Jerry before downgrading him. I do not take offence at the crap winged Jerry's way, because it reasures me that I am also headed in the right direction, however I do take offence at the blatent lies set to trap and divide Christians up to where they no longer have the strenght in numbers. He is human. He does make mistakes, but he admits his faults and asks people for forgiveness. If someone intentionally misleads him, then its all out war. Rich I do not take offence that you mentioned Jerry, However I believe the wrong people with the wrong motives have tried to influence you. I have come across all kinds of news articles about Jerry and most have a hint of truth if you know what I mean. This also includes a lot of web sites. Liberals hate Jerry with a passion. Thats a good thing. Now what does that say about Mcain? I wont be voting for Newt, but I also as a Christian conservative will not be voting for Mcain. Rush has nailed him right. John Mcain is for John Mcain.

What I heard from someone from Arizona is that McCain is a carpetbagger who jumped into the state to run for office and that he has some very questionable connection there. There is also a lot of controvery regarding his behavior during his time as prisoner of war, that perhaps his treatment was better than that of other prisoners of war. These are things anyone can research and judge. I wouldn't vote for him as dogcatcher.

As far as the Church League, I knew a woman who was a paid member of his organization. It was through her that I met Major Bundy and got some very valuable information which I couldn't get elsewhere on the Aspen Institute. This was in my early, very dumb days of knowing very little of what was going on.

The Church League was taken over by an individual who had a reputation for destroying conservative organizations. I was at the meeting where that person talked, but as I said, I didn't keep notes because I was still groping on my own to know what was going on.

When I went to the Church League in Wheaton, a huge building, I only knew the files were kept behind very big locked gates. The individual who took over the organization said at the meeting that the files were being thrown into the garbage, but to save them they were turned over to Jerry Falwell. Nobody ever had access to those files again and they were in disarray. Bundy then had a small operation out of Florida, but without the years of accumulated files, it hardly grew.

Child of God, all I can say is that without trusting people like you, Falwell wouldn't have the following he has in order to do the mischief that has been done. You are a dear sweet person however. Of that I have no doubt.

To Child of God,

I sincerely hope that you're right. I remain sceptical for various reasons. Whenever I think of Falwell, I get an image in my mind of something I heard Constance say several years back. If I recall correctly, Constance attended a conference where Rev. Moon was introduced as being here on earth to complete the work that Jesus Christ left unfinished. Jerry Falwell, one of the conference attendees, was witnessed applauding that introduction. I recognize that we all make mistakes and need forgiveness. Forgiveness comes when we repent and confess. If Falwell has come clean of his associations with Moon, I’d like to know about it. As it stands today, I am very suspicious of his motives.

Regarding McCain, you have that one pegged right. I found it to be no surprise that he was delivering the message that Falwell [Christians] are “intolerant.” Yet the same time he professed a friendship toward Falwell. I tend to call that double speak, or just maybe…deception.

Child of God, my intent is not to offend you nor anyone else. It’s just my opinion—and I really hope you are right on this one.

Child of God, The negative bias against Jerry Falwell and other Christian leaders is demagoguery.

Anon. 4:40 I guess I'm a little lost by your last phrase of your comment. I don't say this as satire. I really dont know what you meant. I almost got the impression that maybe people were following Fallwell blind. If that is correct please let me know. If that is the way you meant it, I am not a die hard defender of everything he has done. But I know he is not a commi in thought or deed. It is a very big organisation with a lot of money flowing. There has been corruption in the past that was not started by him, but he did accept resposability for it because it is his church. The reality is it is so big it has its own police force. He did support Jim and Tammy Baker from the PTL club way back when. That was also an innocent support for the PTL club. Not for the luxury life style and adulterous things that Jim did, but for the gospel. That hush money and stuff was not exposed for a very long time. I was also a supporter of the PTL club. We visited there a few times. My grandmother lived around the corner from Heritage U.S.A. After Jerry found out about the scandals he withdrew his support. The place litterally folded overnight. The PTL scandal deffinately started at the top. To Rich; I have no offence at the comments you posted at all. I do understand why a lot of people are skeptical. It is a very large organization now considered to be called a mega church. However it is a full gospel church. As long as Jerry is there, I have confidence in it. Now thats not to say it will be the same when he dies. Most of the controvercies started out of denominational divides. The media deffinately took advantage of that. Unfortunately when you have not attended the church, you are not going to hear the rumors that have been put to shame and exposed for what they are. Especially the one with the money support that came from Moon. Jerry does not give support for Moons form of religion. As I said they are good friends. As far as Falwell applauding the crowning ceremony of the Moon man as the literal messiah, not a chance. That one I can be fully assured of. I could see him laugh at Moon for it and say your funny but your still wrong. Jerry does have a sense of humor. But as far as what he believes, I know without a doubt. Recently there was also an article posted from the Jerusalem post that said that Jerry Fallwell and John Haggee said that they believed that the jews could still go to heaven without Jesus. It was an obsurd article that slapped Christianity in the face. However the Jerusalem post refused to write a correction letter. The response from the pastors was recorded at the rapture ready web site. I believe it was a wedge trying to be driven between the Jews and Christians. But it also became an opportunity to defend the gospel. Hopefully some jews heard and recieved. Just like the Pat Robertson Statements about Sharon. I personally agreed with what he said. The Bible is very clear on that issue. As far as Jerry Fallwell goes, I know from experience that if something hokey is going on, he got sucker punched. He is not a trator to Jesus. Also I do have a correction to make to my earlier statement. Back before Liberty University it was called L.B.C. Liberty Baptist College. There was a few small buildings. 2 dorms, one for the men and one for the women. They also had 2 small teaching buildings about the size of a mobile home. They had a very small maintanance building as well. To maintain the school busses for L.C.A. Lynchburg Christian Accademy. This was a Christian school from kindergarten through 12 grade. LCA was at the grounds of the church. Not liberty University.

I recall coutless occations that Jerry Fallwell invited Moon and his congregation to come to the sunday services at Thomas Road Baptist Church. And I can tell you it was not for the purpose of merging religions. It was for sharing the gospel. There is all kinds of crap out there, but Fallwells heart is in the gospel message. He never left out an invitation to come to Christ. It was a message that was his way of life. You can watch his services on TV and the net, always an invitation to Christ.

Child, what I meant was that you are a trusting individual who wants to believe what "Christian" people are saying, and so you do. You are much easier to be around than those of us who are very cynical after seeing the negative side of many people who shouldn't be trusted. The Jerry Falwells of the world need people like you around to see only their good side, and most people do have a good side no matter how negative their behavior is.

Constance Cumbey said...

I'm sorry, but I just don't buy that Jerry Falwell invited Moon to his pulpit "to share the gospel." The scriptures are very clear: A HERETICK AFTER ONE OR MORE ADMONITIONS REJECT" -- Moon's heresies were abundantly clear to both Jerry Falwell and Tim LaHaye. I'm afraid the motivation was (1) MONEY; AND (2) LACK OF TRUST IN GOD TO PROVIDE

Anonymous said...

As bad as Jim Bakker went on the financial end, it does not begin to compare to the spiritual crimes of Reverend Moon who denied Jesus over and over again and gave financial incentives to churches to remove their crosses!

Anonymous said...

You know Connie, it may be that Child of God really has no clue as to the extent of Moon's activities. For his/her edification, here is additional material.

Moon got money from Korean mafia types. He also destroyed the minds of many young people who he sent on the streets to raise money for his cult. He still runs a cult. What did he do with all of this money? Well, he runs quite a business empire now. Look at the list of businesses owned by Moon as of October 2005.
http://www.freedomofmind.com/resourcecenter
/groups/m/moonies/front_groups.htm

Here's the main site that lists his organizations, etc.
http://www.freedomofmind.com/resourcecenter/groups/m/moonies/
front_groups.htm

Now that provides him with a lot of money to toss around. He says he is the Messiah, but because he claimed to be against communism, political and church leaders accept his money willingly, giving him support in return.
http://www.answers.com/topic/sun-myung-moon

(Now how many followed Hitler because he said he was against communism?)

Originally he was kept out of Europe and Japan, the EU being suspicious of him, but that seems to be changing.

Now what is the religion Moon preaches?
http://revealed1001.blogspot.com
/2006/04/moonies-vs.html

He teaches anyone not in his movement is being influenced by Satan.

How is he New Age? He runs a powerful cult which destroys free will. He teaches a false history of Jesus. Where he talks, he sets up doubts in the minds of people regarding Christianity.

Get a copy if you can of a book called "Inside the League" to see the international ramifications.

Falwell and the rest of those getting money haven't exposed Moon and his network. Instead, they work with him. No one who is aware of all of this can believe that Moon is sitting in Falwell's church waiting to be converted. With the international network Moon runs, it's more likely that he gathers behind the scenes information which he shares with those who don't oppose him. A very tempting thing to those who consider themselves power brokers.

Anonymous said...

I'm sorry Constance, I meant Moon was invited to the church to hear the message of salvation, not give one. And no, as far as I know he never took up the offer. Now to the other sceptics; I guess the reason I am a little more optomistic about Fallwell than most of you here is because I was there. You people honestly have no idea what kind of ministry he runs or you would be praising it to no end. Yeah, there are mistakes. Is accepting money from Moon wrong??? In Jerry's case, no! Jerry is not being indoctrinated by this lunatic. Nor has he ever given him air time or pulpit time. Now as far as Moon's supporters, let them spy. Maybe they will eventually come to Christ. What, should the church have a reason to not let them in? And Fallwell has refuted Moon's beliefs. Not to the point of hatred or never talk to me again, but out of love that he will eventually see Christ. How do you convert someone after you humiliate and antagonize them? After all, the only one permanently damned was satan, so as for humans there is always hope. This money that was given to Fallwell was used for the gospel. Plain and simple. You people act like it was some kind of payoff. Get real. You honestly have no desire to even find out who the real Jerry Fallwell is. I know who Moon is and how damning his beliefs are. If Moon thought he was going to advance his cause by giving money to Fallwell, so what. Let him think that. The money was used to fund Christian bradcasting air time. Who knows how many people could have been saved. If you believe that receiving money from pagan sources is not trusting God, you've got a lot more to learn. How is it that you can predict who God chooses to use to get money from or other blessings and provisions for that matter. It's about time Christians start waking up to the fact that God also uses the unsaved to do His plan as well. How many people here are employed by non-Christians? I would say quite a few. Does that mean you are advancing their agenda? Should you give your paycheck back? According to a lot of the views on Fallwell, a lot of us here would have a searing conscience. Atheists were printing the Bible and sending them to China's black market just to make a buck. That is still spreading the gospel without them thinking about supporting who they claim to oppose, Jesus. Now if you are lucky enough to work for a Christian buisness, how many have nothing but 100% Christian customers? According to one of the statements it would be a lack of faith to accept money from a pagan who buys a christian made product. Our job as Christians is to sell our Christian knowledge of the love of Christ to the pagan world, but for free. It is not our job to insulate ourselves. Jerry's ministry has multi face programs. They branch out everywhere. Just to start, how about special group homes for unwed mothers. No not just 2 or 3 people try like 1000. Supporting local womens public colleges to make sure the gospel is also taught there, as well as worship. Multiple food pantries. And Yes, his ministry is in the deep south and he does give to blacks, abundantly! How about the drug addiction programs using the Bible. Alcohol counseling, Jail ministries, not just your local jail, but maximum security places for the hardened criminals. These criminals after being converted to Christ have become outstanding representation of the gospel, even though they are in jail for life. Battered womens shelters,Rape victim protection, Legal defense funds for Christians as well as Christian lawyers that fought against the idea of changing the Christmas tree in Boston to the holiday tree last season. Standing in with financial support and lawyers for children in Massachusetts public schools who were told they could not give out gospel tracks or talk about Jesus at school. Fought against Boy George from San Fransisco with the homosexual agenda in the 80's that got Boy George banned from the U.S. for 10 years because he was so offensive. Standing up against abortion advocates and funding anti-abortion legislation even with constant death threats. How many of you have been shot at for the witness of Christ? Do you have to wear a bullet proof vest everyday? Do you need a police escort in armored vehicles to arrive safely at your fortified home? This is serious persecution. This persecution is not because of fraud, it's because of standing up for Jesus and the Bible. He also fights the aclu with their anti-biblical and anti-christian view. This is not cheap. How much more stuff do you want to here? How about helping to organize funding for America's children who's parents can't afford to send them to Christian schools who would do anything to pull their children out of the public schools, which now in Califonia is mandatory recognition and teaching of gay heritage classes in history. Jerry Falwell's church is not just talk and no action. When I was there almost 75% of the congregation participated in programs for the church in or out of the building. From home Bible studies to organizing elections to teaching children Biblical right and wrong. If only American Christians could shut up and act! Quit the denominational bickering and get to work. We are so quick to point out every downfall. What did Jesus do to the adulterous women caught in the act by the Pharacies? Pre- trib, post-trib among other divides as what day to worship on or if we can eat pork. Christianity sounds insane to the average person. There is 1000 or more different Christian religions world wide. Why such confusion amongst the body of Christ? It's time we think about Jesus! No, this is not an ad for a one world religion, it is for a one world relationship with the King. Our Creator. So how about a little more pagan money for the defense of Christ anyone? After all, it all belongs to God anyway. I think He gets first dibs on what He wants to use it for. If I get condemned now from people about respecting Jerry Fallwell as a minister of Christ, so be it. It will be worn as a badge with honor and pride. Not because I'm a supporter of Jerry I might add, but because of the trash that he gets falsely accused of and set up in. I know Jerry personally, I know what his reputation will be to Christ. I only hope I can stand up for another brother in Christ who deserves to be stood upright. I hope that Christ will also reward me in return for putting up with the crap and sticking my neck out. God knows I'm not doing it for myself.

Dear Child of God:

Moon has heard the message of salvation and stoutly rejected it MANY TIMES. He is as dedicated opponent of Jesus as has ever lived. Someday I will put up an account of my own harrowing experiences with his group -- the only time I have ever been fearful of my life while doing work against the New Age Movement. I do appreciate your inputs on this board and that we can sometimes respectfully disagree!

Constance Cumbey said...

By the way, in 25 years of vigorous and effective work in educating people about the hidden dangers (spiritual and otherwise) of the New Age Movement, I have never had one word of acknowledgement or encouragement from Jerry Falwell. Even Tim LaHaye gave me a little encouragement, even though we had vast differences over Rev. Moon.

Constance Cumbey said...

I'm not worried about Falwell being indoctrinated by "this lunatic" -- I'm worried about Falwell's followers being put to sleep by Falwell's silence about the dangers of Rev. Moon. Ron Godwin is equally bad (he was Falwell's chief aide -- he did speak out about Christians compromising themselves with Moon -- and then they offered him a salary large enough and off he went!

Constance Cumbey said...

3.5 million dollars which is what I understand the financial relief Moon gave Falwell is some kind of payoff! It bought polite silence. Rev. Moon claims Jesus failed in his mission, that he (Moon) is the 'Lord of the Second Advent' -- there is money in it, big money!

Constance Cumbey said...

I can tell you harrowing stories of many churches that were split in half because their ministers went off to Korean conferences funded by Moon and came back with determination to justify Moon's theologies along with his money! I have tracked this for 25 years and do not speak lightly! Have you ever (BTW) heard Jerry Falwell speak against the New Age Movement? I have yet to hear it!

Constance: I know the destructive forces at work with the Moon man. It is serious stuff for sure. I have read a lot of stuff about him. I am not all knowledgeable about his stuff, but enough to know the serious danger. However it is not impossible for him to still recieve Christ. But part of the information that Jerry speaks about does not make it over the airwaves but its spoken about in Falwell's church. Every church with these radio and TV capabilities has an editing process. It is blanked out or erased. I have heard it personally. The death threats that Jerry has gotten, do you think that some of them could be from Moonies? I believe so. Jerry is very quiet about where these death threats and attempts come from. It is not something to advertise for sure. Especially when it is on going. His broadcasts are on delay and you dont hear the things like this that are spoken of. I have been at the church to witness how this stuff is done there. If Jerry were to come out and say ok this week we are under a death threat allert from the moonies, probably half would scatter. How often the threats are carried out as attempts I don't know. Now as far as the new age is concernd, have you ever sent him a book or tried to contact him from the perspective of experience. I don't think Jerry would take it lightly. Not to say he would ignore you. You do have many books out. But someone may have not presented them in the way that he would take an interest. He would probably think very highly of you even if you differ on some positions. He always can use lawyers. Especially ones who are commited to the gospel. Now this might not be your cup of tea but I see this as an opportunity for information to get out about the new age. Coming from a Biblical perspective and your experience, it is not something he could ignore to say the least. A while back I saw the AntiChrist watch part 3 that got taken down because of threats, some also directed at you. It was very illuminating. I saved it, but unfortunately my computer crashed. I now have nothing but my memory to go over 50+ pages that are in my mind. Nothing readable because I gave my only copy away. I have read your web site for a few years now and had not posted for a very long time. But after a while I found the courage to post as Anon. Thank-You for your information. Being a person who was rased in the southern baptist beliefs, I know he would consider your material valuable. It might be a while reviewing, because you do attract more personal studying. He does not speak that much in reference to the new age. He is probably not studying that very much. It might not be a gift like it is to you. You are a scholar on this stuff. He tries to speek about what he knows about. There is so much to comprehend this day and age it is endless. Jerry knows we are living in the last days without a doubt. He is a staunch supporter of Israel and the Jews. He has a lot on his plate. This might be where you come in. There are some very simillar types of persecution that you do share with him. I hope this will be an encouragement to you on the value of your work. This is not flattery or an overstatement. You come out with some stuff I can't comprehend. You are well ahead of the game. The thing is how much longer do we have. At this point, I personally look at denomination as the major obstacle that HAS to be overcome right now because our enemies are merging. There is strenght in numbers. Voting shows us that. I do not mean that we should merge denominations either. The Bible says that one can put a thousand to flight but two can put ten thousand. With innumerable angels and one third of them are fallen, we have a rough road ahead. It is going to take the body of Christ to function as one body. I believe you have the gift of discernement. Especially when it comes to new age agendas. You might have tried contacting him before, but tomorrow is a new day. We don't have many left. I wish I had your knowledge, because I would attempt it myself. It is my job as a brother in Christ to support and encourage you. I will pray for you in whatever you do, especially for your protection that God grants it to you to the very end. Your words are not wasted. I pesonally am one who values them. I know others, when they discover you, will value them as well.

Dear Child of God:

I have two books out, both of which were extremely well known in the Christian world. Jerry Falwell, I have no doubt, is well aware of my work against the New Age Movement. Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow headed the Christian best seller lists and was in the top ten for quite some time. His taking up with Rev. Moon was a year after I very publicly exposed how Moon was working the Christian community through CAUSA. Four years later, in 1997, Falwell was its key note speaker. The operative word is "COMPROMISE" -- maybe if Jerry Falwell can't see the NAM for what it is may be because he trusted Rev. Moon rather than God to deliver him financially. Face it, Falwell had to say something to cover his posterior on this one or he would have lost his Christian base. Tim LaHaye and I had quite a discussion about this in 1986 and Tim basically told me that it was ok to take Rev. Moon's money to build the kingdom of God. I told him and I tell you now that God doesn't need 25 cents of Rev. Moon's money to build his kingdom!

Child, please document all that Falwell says that he does.

His word isn't enough. His pretend game about the size of an active organization called the Moral Majority leaves me in great doubt about what he actually has done.

"2/21/86 Christianity Today, Falwell stated that Catholics made up the largest constituency (30%) in Moral Majority. At that time Moral Majority had 500,000 active contributors and a mailing list of six million people." So where did all the money go? The six issues of the paper were good. After that it was mostly garbage information.

Those of us who have followed the supposed good deeds of the other big name Christians suggests that often the works are like a Hollywood stage set of the Old West. All building fronts meant to keep people sending in money for the "good work" to be done, but very little good work being done.

I remember in the early '80s having many friends who would send in money to Falwell's organization because they were such true believers. I was using my own money to fight the New Age movement, I bought books, copied hundreds and hundreds of sheets of information for others, spent postage money, stuck my neck out over and over again to warn skeptical people. None of them even gave a second thought to giving me $5 or $10 to help with costs I couldn't afford. Falwell's pitch was so heartfelt, even though they didn't have a clue as to what he was doing with the money, that as long as he sent them trinkets in return they were happy.

As far as I learned, there was only one home for unwed mothers that he funded for a period of time. One alcoholics center same.

OK Child, you write a lot. Use up the same space with names, dates, places and time of Falwell's good works, and maybe he will get a second hearing.

Dear Child of God,

As I read the various posts (mine included), it is a reminder that we are to be careful of our fellowship.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Jerry Falwell has provided an example of this. There are those of us who do not know him personally who have serious questions (and rightfully so). If he has a written position on the new age movement or Rev. Moon, I'd welcome reading that material.

Child of God, I think you are a great brother in Christ and hope you are not discouraged by this dialogue. I do hope that our disagreement for the time being doesn't stop you from fellowshipping here. I do love you too and look forward to seeing you as we meet the Lord in the air.

Your brother in Christ,

Anon. of 9:08: You need to open your heart to love again. You are sceptical of everyone. You are presented facts of current ongoing programs that Jerry has, and you choose to ignore them as trash. If you go back and re-read what you just wrote, it's all about 'me' again. In other words 'I am doing it and he is not'. Stop judging others because they have not supported you. You act as if their lack of recognition or financial support of you is going to kill you. Our Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills. You need to find encouragement. How about "we were all created in the image of God." Or "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Or "all things work together for good to those that love God." You need to stop allowing others to affect your attitude. God made you for a better purpose than that. Being pessimistic is not my way. I have chosen to be an optomist. I know that if I do not keep my head up and understand that God will provide, than satan has defeated me in the purpose that I am here for on this earth, and I will become useless for the witness of Christ. I know who I belong to. I have been rejected for exposing things that are going on and that are about to happen. I have been beat to a pulp for witnessing about Christ, not lately though fortunately, and to tell you the truth it probably won't be the last time either. I guess that's the risk I was commanded to take. But why do I need supporters for my cause? I don't. I'm not going to care if someone is donating to me or watchimg my back because I have God at my back. He has brought me through the fire, and have witnessed miracles. My recognition is not from man. And for a period of time it was a hard lesson to learn. It was a battle to say the least. I'm waiting for the awards ceremony in heaven that I know is coming soon. I wish you people could see the love of Christ that comes from Jerry. In person. It is not a front. I hope someday you people will see it first hand. He is willing to give you the shirt off his back. You people act as if he is an unbeliever and that he has done more to hurt the followers of Christ. As far as money is concerned it takes more faith to get it from a non Christian source and more humility I might add. It was God's money before Jerry even received it. You claim it was Moon's money. Is that accurate? To say God doesn't need it you are correct, to say that God has not designated it for the gospel, you could be wrong. Rich I am not discouraged at all. That's not me. The inflictions put upon me in the past makes this like a dream. And I do not say this out of disrespect but just the opposite. I thank you for the concern. I too am concerned for you people as well. You are my brothers and sisters in Christ. I do not want you to think that I am attacking you personally. I know it would be wrong. I do not want you people to regret my finding this site. And especially to the anon, I was only tryig to point out things out of love. Not anger and resentment. And I do believe the moral majority has some need. You do have that one right. If I have offended you, I ask for your forgiveness. I hope we can find common groud to participate together. I know there are disagreements that may not be resolved, that's just part of life that I hope God takes care of. Its not up to me, although I will do my best. I only tried to expose a first hand view of what I saw myself. I'm not using others info on this stuff. I know Constance that you have also had experience first hand as well. I'm not going to refute that. My only request is that you try to inform Jerry of your work personally. Not through amazon book list or other people. I know his congregation would benefit greatly. As I said before, tommorow is a new day made for new opportunities. I know Jerry would be impressed by your work on Solana. If not, then something terribly wrong has happened. And it would be definitely time for prayer. As I said before I was raised there, but I do not back all their beliefs 100%. Jerry has talked about the new age garbage in church back in the 80's. He is actively waiting for the fullfilment of prophecy, and I believe your work would show him more evidence.

Child of God, God created the earth and didn't just talk about creating the earth.

I understand all of the advice you give, but my personal belief system says talk is not enough.

You wrote: "I have been beat to a pulp for witnessing about Christ, not lately though fortunately, and to tell you the truth it probably won't be the last time either."

Now you are an anonymous person. Is there some reason why I should just take your word that you were "beat to a pulp"? You can't come up with any details about Falwell's activities, lecture me, don't back up your own stories and then act as if you are taking the high road? Forget it.

You are a delightful person, well-meaning and probably someone to spend a nice afternoon with, but to tell the truth, I would never, ever do business with you or hire you. I've learned that talk is cheap, no matter how many people are taken in by it.

There is a major difference between the two of us. You are putting yourself on a pedastal, judging others and selling your Christian belief system in long comment after long comment. You believe in your product which makes you a good salesperson for it, but only that.

I am selling nothing. I've done what research I've done to protect others from false teachers, to keep them from being taken in by liars and manipulators, even from people who believe in their product so much they close their eyes to its faults.

The New Age movement is full of people who believe the message and its messengers. The leaders talk pretty and are full of conviction. Why shouldn't people follow them? Because you believe differently? They are good salesmen also.

Christianity has a history from which many people have benefitted. You have no history that can be verified. You are piggybacking on the history of Christianity, but it doesn't work that way. Falwell's history is very spotty. The New Age people have a history that has led to persecution, loss of freedom both mental and physical, and destruction of free will.

When I say something, no one has to take my word. They can verify the material and judge it on their own. If they are too lazy to check it out on their own, that's their problem as it's simple enough to do. I've done my share by being a watchman, but I have no responsibility to keep warning the same people over and over again.

Believing in Christianity or Judaism is no protection against becoming a follower of New Age thinking which I consider a great danger.

Oh, by the way, the reason you probably don't want to confront Falwell regarding New Age is that you would have to face the fact that he knows, doesn't care and holds hands with pagans.

As far as falwell me knowing Falwell was holding hands, I would be the first to ask you for an appology if I knew. It will take a lot more to convince me otherwise. I'm not saying he is absolutely right. I know from what I have seen that he has been pinned with stuff falsely. I'm fine with you not buying my word. I have nothing to sell. I felt that it was the right thing to do in sticking up for him in a hangmans jury. Now I did not document everything that went on there. Nor did I feel the urge to. So as far as evidence to prove you wrong, well maybe you will have to open up to the thought of looking for yourself. I know it goes against what you have stated clearly. There is no room for him to be proven right. I have given plenty of things that you could research on your own, but you choose not to. Some are very recent activities. Not just words. They were in the news. As far as myself on a pedastal. Get real. How do you expect a dyslexic backwoods idiot son of a schyco to prop himself up. There is no use even trying. I have nothing. I have nothing to gain by these comments. I will still die the way I came in. But I will tell you I have no problem admitting I am wrong. I would offer my depest apollogy to you by mail if thats what it took. I am not in this for me. I just wish somehow I could communicate this to you. I could not be a sales man. Sorry, not to insult any salesman. Realy Ive got nothing else to say on this matter. If Ive offended you, my depest appology.

Child of God,

Don't be sorry for stating your opinion. We just happen to disagree in this area. It doesn't put us at odds as brothers in the Lord. All will be revealed in time.

I would just like to give you a little of insight why this issue is such a concern to me. Let's assume that Rev. Falwell borrowed $3.5 million from Moon at 7% interest, compounded daily. I've put together some amounts below what Moon's return on investment would be (this is an approximation).

# of Year------>Moon Earns (approx)
8----------> $2.6 million
10----------> $3.5 million
15----------> $6.5 million

These earning would further Moon's cause by financing his ministry where he procalims himself to be messiah. Rev. Falwell would have chosen much more wisely to seek alternate financing. I have a real problem with this.

Not to worry Child of God, I think you are a great brother and look forward to meeting you when the Lord gathers us all together.

Rich, you have it right. One cannot say Child of God has deliberately done anything wrong.

Just ask Falwell if he is aware of Constance Cumbey and her work. I dare say he will be afraid to deny it!
